I for one always play on the hardest difficulty. Particularly with games such as World at War, I find it can be very frustrating, but the feeling of achievement at the end more than makes up for that, in my eyes.

I like to play a more basic difficulty, but then like to replay it on a harder one until I get it done on the hardest difficulty.
So I like to build it up...

I prefer normal difficulty... I cant stand getting frustrated off of something as simple as not winning, so I make sure Im well prepared before entering such a thing...

I don't know why, but I always start on the easiest difficulty, and then work my way up. It gives me a better sense of the game, and prepares me more. razz

The Full English depends: if it's easy, normal, hard i will do hard. if it's easy, normal, hard and very hard, I'll do hard. So you play Hard regardless? razz

Depending on the type of game it is I usually start on the normal difficulty. If it is a shooter, which I'm not good at, I'll work my way in with easy. If it is an RPG I'll go for hard. (unless it's an SMT title) If it's Action/Adventure I'll do normal. It all depends on the game itself.
