Hirimi was finally back. So far she hadn't seen anyone in her squad, and she almost wanted to keep it that way for a minute. She wondered over what had happened in her.... absense. Though it wasn't exactly her fault she had been gone. She shuddered slightly at the memory of the Espada and everything that had happened, wishing it hadn't happened. Finally she sighed, shaking her head and casting the thoughts aside. She wandered into the Vice Captain's office, her office now. Her gaze glanced around the room for a moment, as if taking it in, when she spotted the white board with Chain's message. She smiled and walked over, reading what it said and couldn't help but giggle from it. She got out a white board marker and circled the B option, before replacing the cap and setting it down. She wandered over to a couch this time, and sat down, just gazing around at everything, still taking it in. Hirimi had never thought, or dreamed she would be made a Vice Captain.

__________________________________________________________ After spending who knows how long in the healing rooms from her.... well quite literally being squashed, Hirimi had finally woken up once more and was getting back to her daily life. Sure she still couldn't do a whole ton, but atleast she was in one, whole, unbroken, piece. Though always seemed to have a headache. She wandered into her office, carrying her Zanpakuto in one hand and a book in her other. She had just been reading outside, but it had gotten way to hot, and been forced to retreat inside. With a sigh she set the book over on the bookshelf before laying down on the couch. Since she's made her recovery she hadn't seen Mikhail around anywhere. Where in the world had he run off to?

Taking his time as he roamed Soul Society, Mikhail took in the cool sweet air and the allowed the sun to beat upon his back chest and back. Being outside again felt good to him, he loved the outdoors and became slightly depressed whenever he'd been away from them for too long. Such a beautiful day. Silently he took in his surroundings, absorbing all the small details he may have previously overlooked.
As he continued his one man march, Mikhail found himself walking toward the Vice Captain's office, something told him he should pop in and see if Hirimi was in but he didn't want her to cry, right now he wanted to be void of all emotions. Despite his want however, Mikhail entered the offices and brushed against the door with his fist, softly rapping on the polished wood.

Slightly lost in thought, it took Hirimi a moment to realize someone had knocked on the door. Blinking she sat up, wondering who it could be. With a soft sigh she rolled onto her feet. "Coming!"
She wobbled for a moment, shaking her head. She'd gotten up to quickly, becoming lightheaded. A handful of seconds later she was back to normal and sliding the door open. Once again she was very surprised by who it was. Quickly she grinned. "Hey there!"

Extending his arms to hug his small prize, Mikhail smiled brightly at the warmth of her reiatsu and overall presence. "Its nice to see you." Feeling his emotional noose loosen, Mikhal struggled to keep himself in check. It wasn't often he indulged in such extremes but today he decided it'd be ok to feel something, after all, he needed his outlets. Holding in all his emotions wasn't good for him or anyone else.
In all reality, Mikhail did what no one should do, he supressed his emotions and burried them deep within his turbulant soul. He walked around feeling shameful that he told others not to do what he did everyday. It wasn't often he got the opportunity to let his emotions out in such a safe manner, and he was worried he might lose control but, Hirimi was here and he hardly saw now a days. He needed to let go, if only for a second.

Though Hirimi wasn't surprised at all that he would greet her with a hug, for some reason she hadn't expected it so quickly. Grinning from ear to ear though, she returned the hug, wrapping her arms around his iron hard chest. She and Mikhail made a rather odd pair. Especially if you saw them side by side. There was at least a head difference to the two, and while Mikhail looked like he could crush mountains with out breaking a sweat, Hirimi was fragile and innocent. Some people didn't even want to touch her in fear of hurting her. "You too. Haven't seen you in a while. What have you been up to lately? Hopefully nothing to life threatening."
She was only half joking. She knew most of the things Mikhail got himself into were rather dangerous, but he usually got himself into the mess on purpose. The half serious side of her was just worry that he may not come back from one of those adventures some day because he bit off more then he could chew, which wouldn't exactly surprise her. "Oh! Right. Come on in. I can fix us some yummy tea that I just learned how to make. And no sour looks, I can actually fix this one with out it somehow burning."
Everyone knew Hirimi was utterly hopeless when it came to cooking. Even if it wasn't physically possible she could probably burn water if you let her try to fix something. There was a very short list of what she could prepare with no incidents though, and when she did fix anything on the list it was usually irresistible. And this specific type of tea happened to have made it on the list.

Smiling, Mikhail nodded. "Tea sounds good." Holding Hirimi for what seemed like a long and emotional second, he let her go and brought himself over to one of the chairs. Sitting upon it as if he weighed half a ton, Mikhail stretched out his legs and slouched in the chair. Watching Hirmi make the tea, he couldn't help but chuckle. It was obivous that her endeavors often went arry but seeing her beem with success of doing something without error was both a rarety and a welcomed sight.
Softly laughing, the memories of when he tried to teach her a bakudou made his laughing more heavy. It'd been a funny sight, the bakudou had completely back fired, and did it scare the crap out of her. Every sense then, he'd been weary of trying to help her. Mikhail could see that she functioned much better by herself, it was as if all the outside influences that acted upon her were quickly reprimanded in a physical punishment upon her frail form. It was as if something inside her pushed and pleaded for her to remain solitary and alone, self sufficient and with only her thoughts.
As the questions began to resurface about her inability to do things such as kidou and what not, his smile dissipated and his laugh ceased. An intentful and thoughtful expression washed over his just recently happy and playful face. He'd always wished that he could have done something to help overcome the opposing forces but it always led to physical damage, something he couldn't bare to witness on the women he cared so much for.
"Meh, I've just been doing the same old. Running around healing and fighting. Nothing really exciting or out of the ordinary. How about yourself? What have you been doing?" Speaking softly and aimlessly. His expression had returned to its normal somber and stoic state. Blank but with a hint of thought provoking mystery, it was his normal expression, one that put many to thinking he was a mean and cold heart fellow. At times, Mikhail really did forget who he was and therefore put up his front and go about his business alone as he normally chose to do.

It was a fine day for chatting; the sun was shining, the birds were chirping, and the warm, gentle winds freely passed through the entire area. After finishing the last of his official paper work for diplomatic arrangements, Xeion Kuchiki, the Vice Captain of Squad Nine, decided to pay a visit to Squad Four for a while to get some medicine.
However, the normal aspirins and anti-fever medications won't really work for him, or rather, he didn't want to take them. He wanted a sure-fire way to relieve him of stress, and what better way to do so than to pay a visit to his little sister, Hiri-chu, who was also the Vice Captain of Squad Four? As they say, there was no better way of relieving stress than to show love to another person, and Hiri-chu was just the person he wanted to show love to. After all, Xeion hadn't seen his little sister for quite a while now, because he was so busy. She was due for some hugging!
Xeion knocked on the door, playfully rapping with each and every knock the tune of 'True to my Heart' by Saori Sakura. "Hiri-chu," he said in a playful voice, "you in there? I'm here for a check up. My heart's been feeling a bit painful lately because I haven't been seeing you too much."

When Mikhail let her go to make the tea she scampered over to the small stove, trying to remember where she had put the herbs for one. After a short period of almost panicking, which was common for her when nothing was going on, she finally found them and started the process of fixing them. As the water heated she crossed back to the couches and and plopped down in one opposite Mikhail. She grinned when she heard him laugh, and scowled when that odd expression of his replaced it. "Your making fun of me in your thoughts, aren't you?"
Though she tried her hardest to keep the scowl, it was soon lost in a grin, like most things were with Hirimi, so it wasn't that surprising. Suddenly she remembered something that she had planned on telling Mikhail as soon as she'd found out, but had forgotten up until this point in time. "Oh! I finally figured out why Kido backfires on me! I heard Hebi laughing about it."
She paused when he asked how she was, and of course mentioned how he was doing. After a moment, she blinked and smiled. "Well at least your not almost getting yourself killed! That's always good news. I've been good, just healing a whole bunch. I have a spar with another Vice-Captain scheduled in a few days even, so that will be exciting."
Hirimi was about to say something else when she heard a knock at her door with a certain tune to it that just gave away who it was before he even spoke. She stared at the door for a moment, holding back a laugh, though she couldn't hide the grin that went from ear to ear. "What's the password?"
