i found some of the new toys and it hit and miss and miss and miss

the good:
new prime robot form kinda cool, Devastator looks big, Sideswipe hot,Jetfire looks evil but still neat, and soundwave just rocks.

the bad:
Springer not a triplchanger, Breakaway why is you head so low,Starscream still looks fat, Mudflap and Skids what is up with your faces and lags,
and Demolishor what the **** im mean come on what the **** is up with your robot form

and the ugly:
Demolishor **** you i look at you and it hurts me

Sideswipe should be red and with his friggin' twin! *pouts* scream
i have to admit, Soundwave looks pretty cool tho
and i agree with you on Demolisher

Those toys confirm that the wheeled behemoth we see smashing through the overpass is only a part of Devastator. Holy Primus, Devs is gonna be HUEG-DOT-JPG. eek

No, wait. Demolishor is a different shovel than Scavenger, the Devs component.

It worries me greatly that we're seeing the really nice Deluxe version Constructicons in robot mode, but not the apparently smaller ones that actually combine.

I worry because the quality of the robot modes of the combining toys may be worthless compared to the good ones we're seeing.

I disagree, but I tend to like the movie figure aesthetic. It reminds me a little of the scrapped Transtech designs.

In particular I really like Rampage's Doc-Ock-esque tread whips. They're a novel way of dealing with the problem of what exactly happens to the treads when a treaded vehicle transforms. Looking at the vehicle mode I'm not sure if the treads actually move or or if they just wrap around. If they do move freely, it would be the third Transformer and fourth transforming toy I can recall offhand that has actual functioning treads.

But the combining "Constructicon assortment" version definitely has solid molded treads, which especially disappoints me. I might end up passing on Devastator and just getting Rampage.



On another note, I love Soundwave. He and my Energon Shockblast are totally going to hang out in orbit and take potshots at whatever they can see. xd

Some of these ARE really hit and miss... It's surprising how they can come out with a good Soundwave design, yet make Demolisher look like a broken bicycle. =/ I wish they gave as good of a design to Frenzy as they did Soundwave &&& Ravage. D: srsly.

Mudflap reminds me of the hunchback of notre dame... D: Rampage looks pretty awesome, I like what they did with his treads.

Sideswipe reminds me of Jazz too much, so this design kinda... bothers me. Does anyone else see the resemblence between Jazz and Sideswipe or is it just me?

Also, Breakaway, why is your head on your chest?! D: Now you've really got a hunchback... I think the others designs are good too (Op, Ratch heart , etc.) and I don't think Starscream looks fat. (They don't even have fat on their bodies to begin with... D: )

devastator is going to be BIG! a 100 dollar toy
