Switch and her shop were at it again; fighting over the dust that layered the inside of the place. It had been a month since the blue-haired woman inherited the Balcombe Curiosities shop, and she spent the entire month, save for much needed sleep and food breaks, trying to clean the place.
Her attempts were futile. She would clean something, and come back the next day to find the dust or dirt right back where it originally had been. Needless to say, this made Switch a very unhappy woman. This shop caused her nothing but trouble; between the items having a will to live, the so far unkind (or just weird) Guardians that came back to yell at her...that should have been enough. But no. The place refused to be cleaned.
Eventually, Switch gave up for the afternoon, resorting to sitting just outside of her stupidly stubborn Curiosities shop, finding herself a nice and sunny spot to relax in, and close enough to the shop to use its outer wall as a back rest. Once comfortable, the woman hummed to herself, her gaze on the sky.

There was a distinct flash of light in the sky and a small pod came darting through the atmosphere, landing just far enough away from Switch to not actually hit her, but close enough that she certainly couldn't mistake what it was.

Switch was still staring at the sky when the distinct flash erupted. Naturally, that caught her attention and she stared at it. The flash seemed to get...closer? When the realization that the thing in the sky actually was coming closer, Switch startled and scrambled to her feet. She wanted to track the item, but she also wanted to get as far away from it as she could.
Unfortunately, she got her wish, the first one.
The pod came crashing down and Switch jumped back, hitting and practically digging her back into the outside wall of her building...but as she moved back against the building, she heard a large crash and the creak of breaking wood from inside her inherited building. It sounded like something big had broken inside.
But the building was the least of her worries; instead, her attentions were directed at the strange pod that had landed dangerously close to her shop. Once her heart stopped fluttering and once her head decided to stop threatening unconsciousness, the visibly shaken blue-haired woman took careful steps towards the pod. She was curious, but she looked as though she could bolt at any time.

The pod door switched open of its own accord, the pod itself seemingly having suffered little to no damage.

Switch stared at the pod, backing up a few steps when the doors opened as if on a mind of its own. Her heart was racing and her stance was still set to "flee at any moment", just in case something nasty came out of the pod. Curiousity made her stay, but self-preservation would allow her to flee at the drop of a hat.
She waited.
Nothing happened.
This went on for a few minutes until Switch's urge to flee left, which was around the same time a little voice of logic said that if something was going to pop out at her, it would have done it already. Drawing in a big breath, the blue-haired woman crept towards the pod, then slowly and cautiously looked inside the open doors.
What she saw was a baby. A naked one, and obviously male. He was quiet, merely staring at her with wide red eyes. In her shock she took a moment to look over the infant; a halo, a mix-matched pair of wings, ears and a tail? What kind of baby was this? He certainly looked something special. Switch tore her gaze away from the infant to look around at the empty street, then up towards the empty sky.
Lionel was staring at the woman. Why was she so big? Why did the pod seem so small? ...Why was there a draft? Wasn't he supposed to be in a horrible place called 'Gaia'? This place looked too nice to be any sort of punishment! Why were his hands so small? Hey wait...why was HE so small? He could see the clothes he had worn when he was put into the pod. Why could he feel something uncomfortable on his back? His head? His butt? He opened his mouth to try and demand these things out of her, but to his surprise, he didn't quite say what he wanted to. In fact, no real words came out, they were just...noises.
It was the baby's babbling that caused her to look back down, and when she did, his bewildered expression, one that just screamed 'where the hell did THAT come from?!', caused her to laugh loudly. Reaching into the pod, she took a hold of the soft gray shirt that was in with the infant before picking up the naked baby - who gave a squawk of surprise -, and wrapping the shirt around him to protect him from the weather.
"Hey, this is weird..." She said softly, her gaze down at the shirt that the baby was wrapped in, then down into the pod where a matching pair of pants remained. "...It looks like these belonged to an adult..." A big one, at that. Holding the baby in one arm, she reached into the pod to pick up the pants, but stopped short when she noticed a file folder that was also inside. Picking it up instead, Switch took an inventory on what was inside; it looked like a picture and a large stack of papers...but due to the baby in her arms, she couldn't take a look at them yet. The folder went under her free arm, finally picking up the pants before she headed back towards her shop, fully intent on finding where ever this baby came from and to return him promptly.
The baby, meanwhile, was unsure of what to do. Sure this strange blue-haired woman was cozy, especially since her boobs would sometimes squish against him when she leaned down, but he couldn't talk, and his body was clearly not the one he remembered. Lionel had been stunned into silence, having an inkling that his body had been reduced to some infant form. Of course, the woman's aforementioned boobs did provide somewhat of a distraction to a normal train of thought, and an upside to being a baby is that you could go near them without paying or faking interest in the rest of their person. For now, he decided to stay quiet and enjoy being coddled until he figured out what was going on.
Switch opened the doors, and saw the damage the pod's arrival had caused to the inside of the shop. She let out a cry that was a number of negative emotions; frustration, shock, distressed and bewildered. What had she gotten herself in to?!
(( It can end here if you like, Shiori. =D ))
