This is a private RP between .Tortured. .Pumpkin. and Doodle p***s that was done via MSN Instant Messenger and has been copied/pasted into this thread for owners' use. ^_^
Gaiacentia: The snow seemed to be melting from the land, but the chill of it hadnt seemed to change at all. Jade green eyes sparkled a abit from the shadows as she stepped out of them, last time she had taken a step out of her shadows she'd found herself a friend. She flicked her long spade tail and shifted her wings against her sides for warmth.
Maybe something would happen today, she thought to herself. -Nothing will happen to you.- She hissed at herself, she still couldnt help but talk to herself still. Mentally broken from being alone for so long, she snorted as she shook out her mane. Her crimson frame sparkled, from good health as well as the sparkling of her coat, her ivory and crimson made up the most of her coloring, gold talons on the tips of her wings matched the golden braces she wore
Chowilawu: The stallion was secretly excited by the lessening snow. The winter hadn't really brought him much. Father had left, Magaskawee hadn't come home, and all of the others in the teepee were just as dull as they always were. This made him decide to follow his family in leaving the place. Soon, though, things would get better. He would find something. Anything. Wouldn't he? The fridgid air caught Chowilawu's breath, and it instantly appeared every time he exhaled. Another step, another puff of steam. He stood still for only a moment, but even a few seconds was too cold for him. Perhaps he should find shelter, find something to keep him warm for a few hours before moving foreward. His thoughts quickly ceased when Cho saw something. Was that... A glimmer? But from what? The color seemed familliar. But how? The stallion pressed on toward the source of the light, questions beginning to brew in his tired brain.
Gaiacentia: She continued to walk forward, patches of sunlight catching off of her coat from between the tops of the trees, a small stream wasnt to far ahead, the faint layer of ice atop it would be easy to break so that she could get at the freezing water below.
She glanced around, ears perked as she listened for the sounds of another. She could hear them, she had the hearing of any predator, she listened deciding that she wasnt in any real danger, she continued towards the small stream.
Wetting her throat, seemed to be of a greater importance to her at the moment.
Chowilawu: As the stallion drew closer, he realized exactly what it was that he was looking at. Chowilawu smiled cheerily and picked up his pace, only to slow down again when his legs began to cramp. "Oh, c-come on," he mumbled quietly to himself. When he approached the mare, his smile only grew. "Hello, there, miss." His voice was calm, as he didn't want to spook her. The stallion was on the other side of the stream, but he didn't bother trying to get closer. It probably wouldn't be too awfully good of an idea to, anyway, depending on the crimson mare's mood.
Gaiacentia: Her head snapped up, her jade green eyes fell onto the winged stallion, his wings were so different than any she'd seen. -Look, another freak..- she grumbled to herself as she watched him, noting how he didnt move any closer she relaxed her suddenly stiffed frame.
"Hello.." Older, sultry tones rumbled through her vocals as she used one of her cloven hooves to crush the ice in the stream, watching Captian Smack-a**: I just need to know you think Im beautiful, and that you dont want to see tomorrow without me in it *hsus says: as the water bubbled up through the cracks, slowly filling up enough to lower her muzzle and drink the freezing water.
So cold, it almost ached going down her throat, almost freezing within her chest instantly, it was refreshing but to much and it would lower her body tempture to much in an already almost freezing land.
She lifted her head, shaking away any water that may cling to her muzzle.

Chowilawu: Chowilawu was slightly taken back at the mare's comment. Obviously it was to herself, otherwise he'd question it. The stallion looked back at his wings, feeling a tad self-consious, but quickly brightened up again. It wasn't every day you got to meet somebody new, afterall. Especially somebody as unique in appearance as this particular mare. He quietly watched her drink, and if he hadn't known how cold it was, or if he wasn't worried about upsetting the mare, he'd have taken a sip himself. At a loss of what to do now, he quickly remembered what Midori had taught him about manners, and decided to introduce himself. "I'm Chowilawu. If that's h-h-hard to remember, though, you can just call me Cho." Cho tried to hold back a grumble, angry at himself for stuttering. How embarassing.

Gaiacentia: Her brows lifted at his stutter, but she didnt make a remark on it. "Chowilawu isnt as much as a tongue twister as names used to be upon a time ago.." She flicked her spade tail, stepping back from the small bank, she left plenty of room for him to take a drink if he wished to do so.
"My dubbance is Gaiacentia..Though I suppose if you'd like you may call me Gaia." She tilted her head to the side a bit, she gave a faint smile, fanged peering out as she did so. She was a meater eater most the time, but unlike most kalona's or half-lings of the line like herself, she didnt eat other soquili's they actually made her quiet ill, so she kept to smaller creatures.
The unikalona shook out her coat a bit, it sparkled even further with the movement. "Wot are you?" she asked, she'd been one of the first of her kind to grace the lands, the oldest she knew of but, she'd never seen anything like him.
The others were growing stranger each day, and yet she was still somehow outcast.
Chowilawu: He nodded at her and stepped foreward a pace, debating on drinking from the ice cold stream. He stared at it momentarily before looking back up at the crimson mare with a smile. "G-g-gaia, huh? That's a lovely name." Chowilawu did notice the fangs, but only momentarily. He had been taught not to judge, afterall. Thus far she seemed like a pleasant mare.
What... Was he? The question puzzled him, and he was unsure of how to answer. "W-well," he began, "I'm a Soquili, just like you. Only d-d-different in appearance." Wait just a minute. "Unless th-th-that's what you meant. In that c-case, I'm a flutter. W-we've got wings like that of a butterfly, or in my case, some other insect. It's q-q-quite interesting, really. Flutters can d-d-do stuff like shrink in size and fly." A light blush covered the stallion's cheeks. "I'm r-r-rambling." He didn't much care what she was, but thought it looked quite nice. Not wanting to make an a** of himself, he kept that comment in his head and didn't bother inquiring what breed she was.

Gaiacentia: "I could see your a soquili.." She mused back, in an almost playful tone, she was almost never playful. Really she had no one to be like that with.
"A flutter.." She eyed him now, she moved towards him, closing the space between him rather quickly, her eyes moving all over him as she pranced around him. "Very interesting..Wait, did you say shrink?" She blinked, her head pulled back in a bit of shock, now that was something she'd never seen, let alone heard of. She flicked an ear, she couldnt help but judge others, its usually what was done to her within a few minutes of being sight of another. Dangerous was usually the label she had.
Chowilawu: He chuckled quietly watching the mare prance. "That I d-did. It's really quite useful. Helps when you're stuck in b-b-bushes, or when you're trying to get away from p-predators. I've never had t-t-to use it for predators, b-b-but my hair gets caught in stuff a lot." He thought for a moment about his predators comment and chuckled in spite of himself. He probably wouldn't even know a predator if one was standing right next to him. "Would you like to s-see? I'm not v-v-very good at it, as Father didn't get to teach me as well as I'd have liked him to, but I manage."

Gaiacentia: Her head tilted to the side, she eyed him a bit slowly. Didn't he notice, that there was a predator right before him? She blinked, apparently not, not that she was any real danger to him, other soquili's upset her stomach so she didn't prey on them.
"Alright, show me this resizing act of yours.." She swayed her spade tail, as she watched him with actual curiosty.
Chowilawu: As if on command, the flutter nodded, and slowly began to shrink. It wasn't by any means instant, but after a few moments, the stallion was one-fifth of his size, and not even up to the mare's knees. "S-s-see?" He began. Chowilawu blushed heavily, as his voice was about an octive higher than it was before. "I m-m-must sound so s-silly." With this, he closed his eyes and fluttered his wings before Brooke says: growing back to his normal size.
He cleared his throat. "A-a-all better."
Gaiacentia: She just simply stared at him, in complete amazement. He was a bigger freak than she was, which made her feel instantly more comfortable around him.
"A very interesting trick you have there Chowilawu.." She nodded her head, she unfolded her wings, and gave them a lazy stretch before she folded them once more against her sides.
Chowilawu: He smiled and nodded, feeling rather proud of himself. "M-m-my father taught me when I was j-just a boy. It's r-r-rather useful when there are foals a-a-around. Sometimes, Miss Midori b-babysits, and I play with them." His smile dimmed slightly when the mare unfolded her wings, but quickly brightened up again. "Th-those must help you a lot. I c-c-can't go very high." The statement was matter-of-factly, and didn't require any thought. Quickly, the stallion added, "A-a-again, you can c-c-call me Cho."
Gaiacentia: "Alright Cho..." She nodded her head, and then glanced back at her wings and shrugged lightly. "They can prove useful..I can get pretty high.." She enjoyed the bite of the cold higher currents, they made her feel.
"Yes, it seems that when foals are around, that size changing effect would prove more than useful.." She swayed her tail once more, more out of habit than anything else.
Chowilawu: Chowilawu had nearly forgotten how cold it was out until he saw more steam leave his nostrils. Everything else had become numb. Only then did he remember about his search for shelter. 'But that can wait,' he thought. 'At least until I'm finished speaking with her.' He had to admit that even though it was cold, Gaia's company was better than wandering the forest alone. Which led his curious Brooke says: mind to wander. "H-h-how long have you b-been around here? That is of c-c-course, if you don't mind me asking. Or, a-a-are you just wandering, like me?"

Gaiacentia: She glanced around, suddenly feeling as old as she was, "I've been here for a very long time, the first of my kind really." She sighed a bit, "And yes, I just wander around. I've no place to truly call home any longer, and find that its just easier if I dont stay in one place for to long.." She nodded her head.
Chowilawu: He tilted his head slightly. "And w-w-what kind would that be, Miss? The sparkly kind?" Cho only chuckled softly. "Honestly, I d-d-don't see how you're much different than e-e-everybody else. You've g-g-g-got wings. I've g-got wings, and know others with wings. Y-y-you've got a horn. I k-know others with a horn. Y-you sparkle. Th-that's relatively new." He smiled at her. "I s-s-sure hope that I didn't offend you. That w-w-wasn't my intention at all."

Gaiacentia: She chuckled, "Ah, well..Im not much of a rarity as I used to be. So many these days..its hard to be a snowflake in a snow storm." She shrugged once more, she really wasn't that special in any sort of way.
"No, you didn't offend me in any manner, just reminded me of some things is all." She gave him a half smile, hiding her fangs.
Chowilawu: Last one for the night before I head to bed~ ^_^
"Well," he began, trying to think of what to say to make the mare feel better, "I can h-honestly say I've n-n-n-never seen a sparkly red snowflake before. Th-that seems pretty s-special to me." He smiled and nodded, unable to stop himself from admiring the mare's coat some more. "I w-w-wouldn't compare you to a snowflake anyway. Much more like a r-r-rose. In c-c-color anyway. Y-y-your wings could be the petals, y-your horn and small spikes the thorns." Wait a minute... Spikes? How peculiar. Yet beautiful in their own way. Cho smiled to himself.
