Annaliese lives with her older brother Duncan, Duncan's boyfriend Tobi, and her father, Morton. Morton is the CEO of a computer firm in Nanaimo, BC. Duncan and Tobi both work in a cafe called 'Moi Petite Chou' and 'Liese (As her brother's boyfriend calls her) works at the library across the street after school as a Page. They have a house in a section of Nanaimo called Harewood, in a set of townhouses.
Diving deeper :
'Liese has always been on the plumper side, and has a definite dislike of being forced to participate in sports, and that includes flying. She took the classes and is just waiting for apparition lessons. Being the clever sort, she prefers learning over just about anything, and reads through the majority of her classes. She doesn't spend a lot of time with other people and almost no time at all with boys. She's never been on a date or to a dance, and her favorite subject is History of Magic.
Taking a closer look :
Annaliese walked through the grounds of Hogwarts, alone as usual. Open in her hands was a new history book she'd bought in Hogsmeade the previous weekend, enititled ' The second Rise and Fall of the Dark Lord' by Hermione Granger. As she finished the chapter on the death of Cedric Diggory, she heard a loud hooting noise and looked up to see Nobility, her Eurasian Eagle Owl, flying towards her with a letter in his claws. He landed on her shoulder and she took the letter, tilting her head towards him as he nibbled at her short brown hair.
Seeing that it was from her brother, Duncan, she opened it carefully. He often included photographs or little gifts in his letters. she was not disappointed. Inside the envelope was a fancy black pen with a large, fancy 'A' on the lid. She smiled. He always knew what to send her. Tucking the pen into a pocket and her book under her arm, she sat down on a bench and opened the letter to read.
