Okay guys, so I wound up with a group of charictors and a world and a situation and no clue what to do with them, so I decidd to open it into an rp for us all to share. So here is what we've got.
The world is very low tech. VERY low tech. Trees are sacred. It is forbidden by global law to intentinally harm a tree under any circumstances. However, wood products are reveared and desired as metals are just barly able to be made and only by a selct few. The solution? Wood workers must go and collect branches that hve fallen from the treesnaturaly or from weather. On the spot they must strip the branch of all flowers seeds leaves and or berries and leave them where the branch had been. No one is allowed to move a seed berry or glower from where it falls in any other way without goverment clearance.
This psycosis steams from a global environmental holocoist that hgappened a thpousand years back and was stricken from all records and what not so that no one today knows about it. No one knows that for a hundreed years we had less then 45 trees in the whole world,. or that this world is down to about 15 species of mamials. No one knows this world was once clled Earth, and wars were fought on it. Now there arnt lots of races of humans, theres one. Compleatly generic race. There are also fewer humans, maybe a couple hundred thousands at MOST. No one any more ever has any reason to use the word billion. All of our techonology is long gone like dinasur bones and digging could harm the trees too so its forbidden without goverment permit. Has the government unearthed some of our technologay? Do they know whats going on? No one knows.
All the contentents had been connected so long by the expansive land bridges and the contents pulling closer eons ago that no one knows theres another half of the world, and while its a jounry. no one could picture not being able to go ANYWHERE by foot. There are no more contries. We are all one people. One race, one government one langue.
And so it goes, living this life where you're only allowed to kill for food, and only certain things are killable. Where nature is scared, where there are no large scall weapons, no guns, and strict lawas against fighting or harming trees. This slow and boring life....and then one day...for a select group of people...everything changed...
It happened to them all at the exact same moment. Something changed, a warmth hit them and they heard a voice in their head. "you have the power now, you must choose how you use it. Use it for good." They all recieved in that moment some sort of power, those few that heard the voice. Some of them, their appeasrance changed in an instant. (kinda like if there were xmen styled mutents on this world and they all got their powers at the same time) And there was a slight but ignroablke urge to travle, which if followed would lead all the people to what had once been Brazil. Specifically the site of the old Amazon Rainforest.

Apearance before and after Very generic. Not terribly tall or thin, some what heavy/ short dark hair in a buzz cut. Now: 
Breif historyNot much to tell. Worked in a clinic. Helped the nurses. Mostly he was a candystriper who got paid.
New abilities Extreame strength. Almost never gets ill any more. rapid healing.
any new weaknesses depenndancy on blood, weakness in sunlight, alergy to wood which is now sharp as knives to him.
Any other info we should know. This world has no vampire mythology, nothing to help him understand this

Apearance/history before he seemed very much a leader. Tall, powerfull biuld. He didnt think it suited him. He was sure that it was just his look that made people follow him. afterall, he didnt try to get power, he didnt try to lead, he just tried to do his best for the people around him Now:
New abilitiesHe hasnt found any yet. He knows he klooks diffrent. not drastically, but some. and he heard the voice...but nothing else seems to have changed
any new weaknesses nothing he's discovered.
Any other info we should know. Hes a natural born leader and an all around good guy.

Like any girl her age in that world and time her hair was stright. brown. her skin was also a brown that looked like a pale person with a tan. It was the comman skintone. her hair had fallen to her knees because she refesed to cut it, and would cut anyone who tried to do it for her. Now she looks like this:

Insane. That was what they all called her. Insane. The girl liked to cut her art into peoples flesh. did they call Vango insane? Divinci? Michalangalo? Art was art and she was just another innovator ::giggle:: And for her art she must suffer, but she refesuses to suffer alone, oh no no... and thats why she has such fun terrorizing her roomate at National sanity reperation instatute...
New abilities: to cause pain and small wounds from a distance. Not just on people. She can cut through thin walls, and carve itno pillows and clay ect

He always took care of his kid sister, made excuses for her and cleaned up after her, until she was put away. he wandered a while after that, unsure what to to do with his life. And then this happened. When he heard she busted out he tracked her down and now theyre on thge run together.
