For The First Time I'm Ready To Stop Running Season eight seems to be almost over with how many episodes they have been showin, and ofcourse I am really expecting this season to end off with a cliff hanger if the rumored season nine isn't at all rumored anymore.
So guys, season nine of smallville what are your thoughts on what will happen and how Doomsday and Clark will finally brawl in the public streets of metropolis and on how Clark will become superman? Or is it rumored still about a season nine? I'm Ready To Face My Destiny

It's confirmed. Smallville is getting a 9th season.
I'm not sure how to feel. It has been going on for pretty much half of my life and now it is still going on. I mean I kinda want it to end just because it has been going on for so long but I guess it is one of those series that doesn't need to end just yet. There are still stories that can be told.
I just seriously hope Clark becomes Superman in the next season. We have had enough of farmboy antics of him trying to find out his purpose. No more Smallville and bring on Metropolis.

Yeah, I said to several people yesterday that if they don't sign Erica Durance for 22 episodes then I can't get excited. This year was the worst in some ways, because the quality of the show and the direction were so favourable to me and then all of a sudden they just spat in my face. I won't trust them again so easy, although I will watch. I wanted an S9 a couple of months ago.

Let's see. Lana is hopefully out of the picture for good and if everything will be happening in Metropolis I think it would stupid not to have her in every episode. She is Lois Lane. No other character is known like her besides Clark.

My list of expectations for season 9:
1. No more Krypto-freaks. They were terrible villains and honestly, a little sad.
2. Lois and Clark action. Lana needs to go bye bye already. Didn't Saturn Girl tell her that she had a seperate destiny anyway?
3. Batman/Superman Crossover. I want to see Bruce Wayne. I don't care if it's a cameo, reference, hell even Lois saying the word Wayne Enterprise would suffice.
4. More JLA, less Aquaman. Just take him out. He has a useless power anyway.
5. Darkseid. The biggest baddest DC villain ever needs to reveal himself already. Doomsday is one level. Darkseid will change everything.
6. Smallville Movie. I said before I hoped for a Smallville TV movie. I hope we see one in the near future.

i really hope that they have s**t already planned for season 9 otherwise i'm going to smack a b***h. i mean obviously they do have stuff planned. But i hope its not a bunch of filler stuff especially since they are thinking about making a season 10. i mean the series started out as the story of a young Clark Kent. But its already in the early years of him becoming Superman. and truly they cannot delay on him putting on the costume any longer. especially not another 2 years. I mean not that Gough and Miller are gone they can pretty much do what they want and stray from the original idea of the show. But they can't really even call it "Smallville" anymore. It needs to be called "Metropolis"

well if it were ending with season 8 they would hav been advertising Smallville as "in its last season..." or they would be calling it the series finale. not the season finale.

season nine of smallville should never happen because the show is really starting to get lame.....the writers ideas are getting way... way... way... off the comic,lol...
