Mates Listing
As you wander down a little path, you come to a collection of large stones. Upon furthur examination you find that there are many names carved upon the stones with little hearts in between them.

This thread will help us better to keep track of all mated Foxes. Please post this form completly filled out. Mating

Only one owner needs to post this, the second owner should quote the original post, letting us know that they agree to the mating/permission.
Example: Owner 2 Owner 1 Mating Names of Couple: Fox 1 & Fox 2 Names of Owners: Owner 1 & Owner 2 Blanket Permission to breed?: Yes I agree!
Blanket Permission to breed: Basically this means that any time breeding slots open you are giving your permission for the other owner to submit your pair at anytime.
Remember: All Foxes must be 2 weeks into adult hood before they can breed/mate. Even if purchased as an adult.

The List
Mates are considered a pair of Foxes who are loyal and only breed with each other. By declairing Foxes as mates, you the owners are binding them together. Which does has it's perks, but also its draw backs.
Mates Information:
- Mates require all parties agreement (owners, even co-owners) to post permission.
- Require the post of all parties, again owners and co-owners in the event you wish to dissolve the mating. (Please see the post below that covers breaking up mates)

Selective Permission
Some Foxes just aren't the settling down type. Or perhaps they just want to have sexy kidlets without the drags of being tied down. Either way this is where selective permission comes in.
Selective Permission Information:
- Pairs that fall under the selective permissions list are those that, while not mated, have permission from their owners to breed. Such permission may come from plot results; a fling; OOC breedings where the owners think the two might make awesome kids.
- Permissions may be for however long the owners are willing to attempt to obtain a breeding for the pair. So one shots, a month or until a breeding slot is acquired.
- Permissions will be removed after the expiration of their terms. Once you've obtained a breeding slot with your selective permission, if you wish to try again down the road with the same pair; selective permission will need to be posted again.
- These are not exclusive. A Fox can have multiple selective permissions posted with different partners; however, that Fox may only be entered with ONE partner per event/chance to obtain a breeding and may only win once per month.
- Remember that Foxes can only breed three times. So if you decide to do selective permissions you may only do up to three. Once your Fox has bred three times that's all she wrote.
- Are open permissions during their term. If a Fox has permission to breed with another until they get kits, either owner may enter them in every chance to obtain a breeding slot without necessarily asking the other owner before each attempt. (But its just nice to run things by the other owner before hand, just in case they have other plans)
- May be ended at any time by either owner with no penalties

Maxed Out Foxes
As per all things in life, all good things must come to an end. Foxes only breed three times in their lifetime. Anymore and they could end up with serious health risks.
Maxed out Foxes are:
- Foxes that have bred three times (the max breeding limit), weither or not they were mated breedings, ic breedings, ooc breedings, selective persmission etc etc.
- Are not, under any circumstances allowed to breed after they've hit their breeding limit.
- Owners and Foxes will be penalized if caught trying to breed once the Fox had reached it's limie.

Broken Matings
As stated before, mating does have its perks and disadvantages. This is used to balance things out and to make sure you really are SURE that you want your Fox mated to someone else's.
Broken Matings Info:
- Breaking up a mating is very painful for most Foxes, so we please ask that you really consider who your mating your Foxes with.
- Breaking up a mating should be run by staff FIRST and APPROVED before you decide to break up the couple. We would like to know your reasoning and make sure its legit. Just so you aren't jumping around cause you like some other Fox better.
- All Foxes that break up their matings will be on a breeding ban for 3 months. They cannot participate in anything related to breedings. Months count for months that have had Gaia related breeding events in them. So if there were no breeding taken in March, that month would not count towards your three months.
