My hymen actually ripped when I fell off a chair and did the splits at the age of 6. Of course, long before that happened, I had figured out masturbation, so it's not the fact that I have a hymen that keeps me from having "sinful sexual pleasure".

I hate rape apologists, mostly because they're wrong about everything, but I can't stand to be near one for longer than five minutes before I absolutely lose my head.
I don't think I have it in me to argue with one without resorting to pure anger. Maybe I'll try when I'm.... uh...... high or something.

Yeah that rape-apologist thing pissed me off. Then again, crap like this has been going on for ages with the blame-the-victim mentality and that men shouldn't have to keep their own impulses/actions in check. Heh, guess they haven't read enough articles yet since there is a scientific reason for it's formation. It's left over tissue from formation. similar to those weird squigly things you see when you look into a light (it was either left over fragments of arteries, capilaries or veins only used when in Utero).

I saw that post and your reply and was about ready to set up an altar to you. Srsly. I wouldn't've been coherent in my anger (as I wasn't in those posts prior to yours... In fact, you even came to my defense in my absence ->), so thank you thank you thank you for setting people straight.
I also saw Phaedra's loooong post where she uses the allegorical-satire-ish story about Mr Smith or whoever, the victim of a stick-up, and that was really telling. I mean, holy wow.

I read some of the posts in that thread and I kind of wanted to punch the original poster and a few other people in the teeth. People like THAT are the reason that some women are afraid to come forward after being raped. I don't wish rape on anyone because I'm not that much of a b***h, but all those ******** deserve a swift kick or two in the a** and probably one in the face, too.
I would have posted something but everytime I try to think of a decent point to make I get all angry and want to turn big and green.

Only that rape disproportionately is caused by males against females...
Huge male entitlement that they have their blue balls "cured", that they have sex wherever they want, that they get to be in control and perpetuate violence... all wrapped in a package. etc etc.
Many rapists love to claim that their victims wanted it, so they can justify it as non-rape. I am TIRED of the victim-blaming tactics!!!

Here, here! Hey, if a girl in a miniskirt screams, "Hey! Sexually assault me!" to guys, then does it mean a boy in a black trenchcoat screams, "Hey! I'm going to shoot up a school!" to everyone else? If so, I better put my coat up for the winter and hope the police don't tackle me. Back on topic, it's pretty common to hear guys at my school say that rape is "sex they didn't know they wanted". Long story short, I've been close to getting suspended (again) because of those lovely little statements.

Take this lovely comment from page 7: Stygian Soleil People tend not to make fun of terminal patients because they're dying. Unless is a fat person is dying from diabetes brought on by their weight, then they're fair game. Also, the people who smoke and drink their organs into oblivion do so because they're suffering from an addiction which causes them to do so. There is no such thing as an addiction to food.
