Todays epic was starting to look great! Today Neria had decided to take a quiet trip to the lake, to wash up and have a nice splash around as long as no handsome princes were there; shed never live it down to ebarras herself infront of such noblemen.
The path of small boulders led down towards a wide spread lake, surrounded in spruce tree's and animals, also having the same idea in the hot weather.
The cool liquid soothed suffocated skin, as steam arose, already the tingling sense of balancing heat was taking affect, slipping further into the waters contents it got to bout shoulder high before she finally remembered to look around for anyones presense.
From what the eye could see, there was no one around to make a fool out of herself accidentally.
The filly chuckled, then at last started kicking four thin legs playfully swimming through the waters at peace.

Astrophel was floating around in the sky, the breeze felt good against his skin, his wings flapped and he soared. The clouds tickled him as he flew, as he got a but lowered he saw a lake. "Ooh... That looks refreshing..."He swooped down, and he saw the other foal heading toward the water. "I wonder if she'd want to play..." he though to himself. But as he was thinking that everything went black and Asty forgot to flap his wings, and he went barreling down and hit the water with a huge splash. He tossed about in the water and then resurfaced asking for air, not even seeing another in the water.

So far things were great, it was fun paddling around in the cooling water but Neria had no idea what was going to spiral down on her peraid. A couple of seconds after seeing a large shadow a small foal like figure went crashing into the waters, sending waves hauling towards the shores either side.
Only being small the filly got pushed aside by the heavy wave, turning a shocked gaze away, then eyes closing to shield the dark, piercing voids from the harsh shards of blue.
"Oh my! What was that!?" she shrieked, hopping to the edge before the ripples finally calmed under the sun, sparkles dancing upon the surface.
Looking either way, she was struck for what to do, but any descent person wouldn't run, but would see if the creature was ok. If they were hurt they could.. No! What if it drowned?
Nearing the landing spot, she jumped when the creature finally gasped for air, gulping it down naturally, finally re-assured that it was just a colt and nothing dangerous; she sighed, relieved.
"Hello there? are you hurt?? "

OH MAN, did that smart Astrophel. He shook his head and looked around. Luckily it was water. He hoped his other half had some damaged ego! It didn't know how to fly. meekly swimming his way, he let his eyes look up. Damn... Someone saw! Feel a bit embarrassed by this... "Oh, yeah yeah... You know... don't fight with yourself mentally when you're flying.' He joked to the filly, as he heaved himself from the water. He was lucky one of his wings didn't break off!
Shaking himself off, and looked around again, he let his eyes find the filly. "I take it you were going to go for a swim huh?" He felt a bit bad for disturbing her like that. But what I story she would have to tell. "I wouldn't suggest trying that... It was rather painful." he stretched out.
BAAH crappy shortness x.x

Neria raised an eyebrow for a moment, trying to accumulate what was happening here? What was the colt saying...? Nevertheless she smiled brightly and edged backwards giving the figure leeway to find footing once again.
"O, no, no don't worry young sir. Someone falling out of the heavens doesn't happen everyday" she gave a little chuckle, nodding at the advice. She would never try a stunt like that, Daddy would go crazy if she ever even thought of doing something like that. It was dangrous!
"So, you are... Fine?" she asked once more, to be re-assured surely a fall like that would hurt, the crack of the waves even sounded in pain. She approached him closer, then gently nudged a bit of the forelock out of his eyes. "see now isnt that better?" She asked, fluttering the two back tipped wings above.

Astrophel laughed a little bit when she nudges him and he shook out. "Yeah I feel better." He looked over at her, and tilted his head. "Hey those wings on your head are nifty looking." He nodded and smiled at her. "And I didn't exactly fall from the heavens... I'm hoping to get there though! I've heard that if i make it there, then I can find out a lot about what I am. " He nodded and then looked over at her. He had never see someone like her before, and wondered what she was, but he didn't want to be ride and pry... Specially since they just met!

He... Didn't know what he was? Neria gave a soft smile downcast towards the confused colt. Giving a little, half understood nod. "Well, your an Angeni of course... Is that what you meant? My siblings, and my mother are alike. They have the beautiful wings just like yours! They also have the ability to become two legger... Although its taking my siblings much longer to learn how."
She titled a look up to the wings, and shuffled them neatly back inwards so they rested against the crown of her head, before turning to skip out of the water, kicking waves back into the air. then once again faced him. "These wings were from My father. Apparently, we aren't like any others in this world." She chuckled lightly watching as the markings along his coat reflected along the waters surface.
"May I ask of your name?"

Shaking his head he smiled at her. "Well I know -what- I am, in name. But not really what my purpose and such is, you know?" He wondered if that made any sense to her. "Really they can turn into two leggers? I've heard stories. I want to try, but I have to take until I have.. another to teach me." He didn't have parents like him, well no parents at all. So learning to fly and reaching the heavens to him was the only way to become complete. "You're siblings are lucky to have a parent that can teach them." he nodded. Though he was still young, the workings of genetics still alluded him.
"So you aren't like your siblings?" He wondered what it would feel like to be different from them... But at the same time there was a feeling that it wasn't always so bad. "Really? So you're the second to have wings like that? Thats very awesome to know! It's an honor in meeting you." He nodded at her, and gave a little bow. It wasn't all that often he could be in awe of another.
"My name is Astrophel, how about you?"He watched the ripples of water from her splashing...

Neria chuckled at his polite bow and accepted the compliment happily, her flustered cheeks red in proof. It was sad that he didn't have parents of his own to teach him things like changing into a two-legger or how to fly. Her daddy had given her and the other two lessons on flying beforehand... "Thank you. Its an honor too.... Don't you have anyone to teach you how to fly? Or how to use your abilities?" she asked, shifting a hoof over the other to face him once more, letting the radiance of the sun bless her coat. Hopefully it wouldn't take long to dry, there was a cold chill in the air and it clung to the damp of her fur.
"I'm Neria!" She smiled sweetly, and matched his greeting with a bow of her head. "You have a very nice name" she complimented happily, watching his wings. She hadn't heard a name like it before but it sounded very pure and angelic. The mention of her difference was like a wooden steak through the heart, it did hurt but she had learn to live with the differences and clinging to her Daddy had helped ease the thoughts about what she lacked such as the four elegant wings, the sound of bells when they appeared in the presence of another and how there thick set of hair on their feet swayed over the terrain. "Its not so bad, being different" 'I guess..'

Astrophel flicked his tail a little and he rolled his shoulders. "Well I don't live alone, persay. I happen to find stay at this teepee, but all the mares there don't have wings. (Astrophel was a foal before Lailah arrived) So I've been trying to teach myself how to fly. And doing okay with it." He gave her a smile. But it felt almost empty. He met so many that had filling back stories and histories, all he had were ideas of what could be, and should be when he gets older. No facts about who he was. "But I feel like... Maybe, just maybe... I was born like this for a reason, I was put here for a purpose you know? Specially at night! Oh... The moon's light, I just feel.... so powerful, like I could do anything~!" Simple words from the foal who had no idea that he was the guardian of Lunar. Thusly why the moon powered him so.
He looked over at her, and he could see that his words had struck something, words that he didn't mean to be taken like that... The wings on his head shifted a little and he lowered his head. He didn't know how to correct his wrong doing... But apologizing might make it worse because he didn't know what to say. "I think you're beautiful." He said, almost before he knew what he was saying. Sure, she was different looking, but that didn't mean she wasn't lovely. Being different COULD be a good thing!

Neria lifted her head to his gaze and had to stare into his eyes for a short while to process what he just said... All that fluttered in the filly's mind was a silent 'AWEEEeeeeee' then, it hit. Oh yes. "W-wha- WHAT? Well I .." her cheeks became a sudden rush of violent red and she turned her gaze to the side in a babbled set of chuckles letting them engulf the air sweetly. "That is so adorable! Thank you... No one has ever said anythin as wonderful before. I know, how about it? Would you like me to teach you to fly!? I am not the best..." She started, throwing her head back to score a search over the side of the mountain. "But, I could help a little at the very least, just you wait and see!"
Walking elegantly aside him, she pushed out her delicate wings from their sides to edge him forwards, smiling warmly. She could help him! She wanted to do this, and to say he tried to make her feel better and he had noticed her sudden mental downfall it was the consideration that had sparked her determination again and as a good fair maiden in a story, she was going to play the part peeerrrrfeeeectly.

Astrophel little experience with females even as a foal caused him to be a little bewildered by her sudden happiness over his compliment. He meant it, but he didn't really understand how such a simple word could change things. And next thing he knew she was going to help him fly. He had the basics down. Though, he had fallen because of his little issue that resided in his mind. Who at this moment was laughing. Beautiful you say? Well looks like we might get along better then I had thought... Casanova. But Astrophel did his best to ignore what resided in his mind. Asty was getting stronger all the time!
He stretched out his wings, and looks over at them. The deep blue coloring was like the velvet in the night sky. These wings would one day do great things. "What... exactly are you looking to do...?"

Neria trotted next to him a skip in her step as she looked up towards the mountains. "We're going on a little adventure!" She was also suggesting. "My daddy took me to a high cliff edge, where a small lake resided beneath it. The idea was that you jumped off of the cliff until you learned how to fly, also the sense of panic helps and if you messed up, your fall wouldn't be as harsh." She smiled as she looked back at him.
"We'll go up to the mountain trail and try find a safe spot to fly from. It shouldn't be too hard, you have four wings to help you!"
She lead the way to the mountain trail through the forest, they had chance to chat whilst they walked and she learned that he was a very interesting soquili indeed. As she was growing older, she was learning more about the different kinds and in herself felt like she was becoming a bit more responsible and mature.
"Are you sure your ready?" She looked up and saw in the distance the peak they would be jumping off of. She had a sneaky idea in mind, that something would 'go wrong' and she would land on a ledge saying she couldn't fly because her wing was hurt and the only way to help was if he could fly down and get her. Hopefully that would motivate the colt to learn quicker.
