 Today was the first official day of spring, or it had been declared by an over enthusiastic little girl who was quite merrily skipping along humming to herself.
Neria flicked glances eitherway watching all the mystical tree's sway, the slow budding, and blossoming of colourful plants was a sight to see by anyone! It made the little alicorn gasp in awe.
"This time of year is so refreshing! The beautiful gift from the heavens, scents of blossoming roses filling the air, a day like no other! Its fitting for an adventure"
It wasn't long before agrumble came to her stomach, letting all sorts of baffling noises sound, she even had to look around to make sure no one had heard. With a violent ray shining across Neria's muzzle, arching neck, she went to take a bite but had to raise again; something small, something dark was roaming. What was it?
Going to check it out, Neria trotted as quietly as possible to the small creature, tilting a curious head. "Hello? Who's there?" she beamed a happy smile.

 Starlet was tiny, and boy was she scared. She crept her way about the woods, it was warmer out then it had been lately, which was good. Shw wouldn't freeze to death, but she should have listened to Tooona. Shaking her head, the small filly hops over some branches when she heard it. Someone's voice.
the small usdia froze in her place; someone might be looking for a snack!; and she wiggled her way under some brush. She was well hidden but her shaking shook the bush. Oh man, Forte would be so mad, when she realized that her daughter was no where to be found.

The creature wasn't there to see, but in place aside, a rattling bush sounded loudly like it was moving around frantically.
Neria wasn't sure what it was exactly but it surely wasnt anything dangerous, it was small, a racoon perhaps? But it most definitely wasn't large enough to overpower her, even as small as she was compared to others.
Ears perked, a curious look placed itself upon the bush with sparkling adventure visible in such pools of blue, wanting to know what it was. Skipping towards it, she coughed abruptly to let her presence be known then stuck her head through the bush peering at the small usida.
Lettting out a gasp, a small blush spread across the filly's cheeks and then a wide, cute smile filled the alicorns lips.
"awww now aren't you just the most adorable creature you'v ever seen!! Please do not threat, I am no enemy, nor any danger to you"

When Neria's head pushed into the bush. Starlets heart might very well have stopped. She frozen her eyes went wide. If it was possible, she would have looked like a ghost! The small filly tripped backwards, tumbling out of the back of the bush when Neria spoke to her. Cute little fretting noises of fear could be heard as she rolling about to get back onto her feet. Starlet peeked around the bush. What is that? She wondered looking at her. Aside form her mother, Lunar and Tooona... Lailah and Istas were the only other creatures she saw. And boy! was she scared of them. They were HUGE. But the filly she was looking at, was probably just slightly taller then Tooona. She shied herself back behind the bush.. "W-what are you...?" Her soft and feminine child like voice creeped out to reach Neria's ears.

"Awww Don't be scared, please little one-" she started watching as the small foal tripped backwards away from sight as the bush hid the view. Instantly Neria pulled her head back hoping the small filly hadn't hurt herself! That would be terrible.
It was a relief as the voice caught the attention of twisting ears again, gasping she turned around, settling a calm, but stern hoof towards the ground, a glimpse of determination sparkling in the two voids.
"I little one, am a Princess! Can you not tell?" she asked, shifting her head upright towards the sky, closing the two sky blue orbs to let the sun gleam upon a pearly pelt which made the filly chuckle cutely, then rest a look back upon the smaller species. "How bout yourself? You remind me of Yesei~ one of the smaller built soquili within the lands"

"A princess?" Starlet wondered what that was exactly. She was still to young to know to much. She had no idea that it wasn't a species. Her nose wiggled with its little heart shape and she padded out from aside the bush.
"Uuuusida" She tried to pronounce. Neria had already pin pointed what she was even though Starlet didn't know Yesei, Her aunt Lunar did though.
The little lost usdia nosed forward toward the taller foal and she sniffed at her before her tummy growled. Having been lost she had gotten rather hungry. "...Food..." She whimpered up at neria. The filly was rather helpless. She wandered off when Forte was trying to do something, having only been a couple weeks over the foal was still developing.

Neria continued to watch the filly as she waded out and started to sniff around her. Must she of smelt nice? She smiled calmly and lifted a hoof to allow the tiny foal to get closer to her. She heard a rumble of thunder and her orbs were set downcast in awe. "Your hungry?" she asked gently. She had no idea how long the foal had been away from her mother. She just thought she'd roamed a little way away from her watch. another rumble occurred triggered by the tinier rumble which must of been her own stomach, scarlet shifted amongst her cheeks and her jaw dropped in disbelief. "Erm.. Well, why don't we get some food..." 'food' she pondered looking along the blades of grass. If she wanted to set a good example for the foal the best thing to do would be to get something more sweet or filling.
Searching the surroundings, there were many large tree's all filled with a miraculous amount of leaves and wrinkles even homes to smaller animals. There must of been a bush with some berries or something... That couldn't have been filling enough though. She shook er head a little and turned bravely, looking back in determination. "Come on then, lets get some food! I'll lead the way. As long as your with me, you won't get hurt I promise."

The whole concept of 'don't talk to strangers' never really registered with Starlet. She would probably blindly follow a kolona or skin walker if they were nice enough at first. Thusly why her mother and father were freaking out. Starlet wiggled a little and went to follow the other. Tripping every fewe steps.
Oh boy OH BOY "num num nummies~" Her ears twitched as she looked up, and she trotted under the other female, liek she would with her dad or Toona. But the other filly was even a bit taller then them. She paid no mind to the fact that she might have been tripping her or anything like that. It was jsut a safety location.

Neria continued merrily on her way looking out for them something sweet and tasty to eat when all of a sudden her legs were tangled and in an obstacle with a smaller object she hopped on her left back leg and balanced on her front right looking down at what was causing her non elegant behavior "Wh-whoa!" she laughed a little when noticing starlet and managed to land on all fours once again, heaving out a relieved sigh that she hadn't fell; well, that wouldn't be good!
"Be careful, I might of hurt you if I'd of fallen. You are welcome to stay under there if you want, just a lil warning please" she chuckled lightly and turned her gaze upwards to follow the vision of the filly and her quiet chanting. It seemed above where they were there was some fruit and her eyes sparked up in delight. 'Apples!' her mind screamed in a yummy sensation. That would certainly fill them, now the next question.. Would she be able to reach? Ah.
"Do you wan't some apples?" she asked, lowering her muzzle to gently nuzzle the little girl on the head with a sweet smile. Also, this was buying her time to calculate how to actually get the apples without making a fool out of herself; after all, she couldn't fly yet.

Starlet looked up at Neria. Unlike the Usdia the regualr horses had longer legs which would cause an issue like Starlet getting under her. Had she been an usida it would have been a perfect fit! But her mind switched when she heard the word Apples.
"Apples?" Her tummy growled and she nodded at her. Apples were very good indeed, but to her they seemed to far away. "Can you get them?" She asked the other, wondering if she herself was tall enough.
This other filly was taking good care of her. She was happy that she met her in this case. Though she knew her mother would be furious at her.

Neria looked up towards the branch where the apples were. With the time she spent nuzzling she hadn't managed to figure out how to get them yet and when Starlet asked if she could, Neria's tiny headwings folded back and her eyes looked towards the side in thought. She hummed quietly to herself as it helped her think and then smiled widely having an idea pop back into mind.
"It took me a while to work out how but I think I can! Wind blows fruit off of the tree's if it's strong enough. So maybe if I blast gusts towards them, a few will fall down and we get to eat them." She made a cute smile, feeling like she had achieved something new on her own but what she didn't realize was that she had done already without noticing. Looking after a lost Usida filly.
Fluffing out her wings, Neria spread them out wide as she could and flapped them. She didn't know how to fly yet so it was difficult to manouver but she started to get the hang of it.
'One... Two... Three flaps' She thought, concentrating on the apples until her wings were beating more rapidly and at last the apples popped off of the tree and rolled along the ground.
"YAY!" She cheered, eying the four juicy apples ecstatically. She ducked her head under and peered at the foal. "I did it, let's eat. We have two apples each." She chuckled, moving over to them carefully with Starlet in between her legs.
