Yuugi was walking home from school, having missed the bus because of Anzu. She and the class representative needed a couple of extra hands on taking down decorations in the class room. So, he and Jounochi had stayed to help out. Honda hadn't showed up at school at all. 'Come to think of it,' he thought. 'Carmen didn't show up either...' He knew Honda's reason for not showing - he'd skipped. Carmen had said nothing about skipping. He knew where she lived (he'd walked with her a couple of times and she lived close) so decided to stop by. Just to check up on her.

A sigh came from Malik, "Rub it in why don't you." He muttered, taking a side glance at Angel as he walked with her. He used to be home-schooled - before Ishizu decided to make Domino permanent. At least, as long as the museum needed her. "The only reason I go is so I don't have to hear my sister complain about me not going. Otherwise, I wouldn't bother."

Naomi thought for a moment then shook her head, "Nope. Boss gave me some time off so I'll be free for the next few days!" She said happily, stretching her hands up towards the sky. It was a rarity for her to get any time-off so she would defiantly make use of it. By hanging out with her friend, of course! "What about you? Got anything schemed?"

Hearing a familiar voice, Yuugi stopped and turned, smiling when he saw it was Carmen. It seemed that she wasn't sick - she'd just followed Honda's example. He frowned a little at the mention of any 'weird guys' showing up. "No, nothing out of the ordinary happened." He replied. "Why do you ask?" Even if it wasn't his business, he couldn't help but be a little curious.

"The Amazon?" Malik made a face and then shrugged, "I don't know. It rains too much over there." It may have had something to do with living in the desert all his life, but he loved the heat. "Besides, I doubt my sister would let out of school for that long." Much to his disappointment. Ishizu acted more like a mother than a sister. "You'll just have to tell me about it when you get back."

Naomi nodded, feeling sorry for her friend. She'd seen Ryou's other half and had to say that guy was a hand full just from looks. "If you help my make sure Despire doesn't do something stupid, I'll help you watch psycho-freak." Psycho-freak was her little nickname for Bakura. Sort of like 'short-stuff' was her nickname for Yuugi.

Sometimes Despire couldn't understand people. At the moment, she was leaning against the wall of a building, watching the King of Thieves himself look over it. "Waste of effort." She stated. "To think the Thief King has reduced himself to stealing a bunch of junk."

"Oh," Yuugi knew Carmen lived with a foster family. He'd never asked about because it was none of his business and Carmen would tell him (or any of their other friends) about her life. "Well, then no, none of those guys came around today." As far as he knew, that is. He frowned slightly, "They can hang around your house too? Isn't that something like spying?"

"Still not worth it." He muttered then smiled, "Yeah, I'll agree to that." If it wasn't for Yuugi and the others, he wouldn't have stayed in Domino. It was more than just oweing them for getting rid of Marik. Plus, he had even more reasons to stay since he'd met Angel. "By the way, where are we going?" He asked, realizing he didn't have a clue.

Naomi grinned, "And in exchange, you'll help me with my math. Deal? Deal." She didn't even wait for him to say yes or no. Though, if Ryou didn't want to help her, she wouldn't force him. She was just messing around. "Oh, if you happen to see me in some skimpy looking clothes, it's not me. Despire raided the closet yesterday, saying she was fed up wearing my 'old and out of date clothes'." She scowled.

Despire only rolled her eyes. "What good is having an item like that?" She inquired though didn't expect and answer. She stood from the wall, smoothing out the bottom of her short dress as she went over to one of the tables which had been placed outside. With a bored expression, she glanced over the items. "Junk. Every bit of it."
