Trinity Blood, Alichino, Dazzle, Vampire Doll, Rozen Maiden are all manga with severe Lolita influence, though perhaps not the idea that supposedly comes with the name of Lolita.

Personally, that list on Livejournal is a bit far fetched to me... <.<

But eventually you'll find it somewhere. I noticed there's a lot of Lolita popping up every where in the media now days.

I'd say Rozen Maiden and Chobits. They're both great mangas/anime!

I'll have to try out Princess Princess. Sounds good =D

Have you seen all of them and know for sure that they're all "wrong"?

I haven't played any of the games except maybe one or two, but most of the anime checked out. I've watched most of the listed series.

So what do you mean?

I definitely recommend Chobits. It is really funny with lots of sexual innuendo (so be warned if you don't like rude bits). Chii's outfits may not be lolita outfits, but they have a very cute aesthetic, and her character behaves cutely too smile

I've seen most of these animes, and played about half the games, and while they are not "Animes about lolitas" and the majority of them have nothing to do with Lolita, a lot of them have one character who dresses in a majority of lolita clothing.

Things like Emma, Rose of Versailles, Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, etc. should not be on that list.

This is true also a number of them really only have people dressed in historical fashions that are not nessisarily lolita .

Yea she's tacky, yea shes a bug freak, but admit it, you've seen worse lolitas.

I can't find the blog again, but there were translated creation notes on her, showing exactly which brand company her shoes, and other parts were modeled, after, and which were just spotted on the street.

Amy has several costumes which are often listed as 'lolita inspired' along with the girls who run the shops for the game. They wear a combination of maid and lolita-inspired styles. Also, in the customizable character section, many pieces of maid and lolita-esque clothing can be unlocked.

None of them is a perfect take on lolita as a fashion, but manga, anime and video games very rarely bother with a perfect take on it, anyway. As for your examples, I wouldn't put Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei on the list either, if I'm understanding your objections to those two games properly.
