Kiri splashed through the trickling stream, smiling softly to no one in particular. She tossed her head and let out a merry neigh, greeting the morning sun on this fine spring day. She trotted onto a soft bed of grass and peered dreamily at a collection of flowers newly bloomed, pleased to see the start of new life.
She stood there for a few moments, gazing contently at the perfect little buds, then continued on, in search of something a little... larger.
"Brother? Brother, where art thou?" She laughed, mimicking the speech of the two-leggeds who considered themselves so posh.
