PART I. PHYSICAL
*Special note* -- Roddik has a 10 minute memory... he does not actually know most of what is in this form.
*Even special-er note* -- When the doors and village mask were being created... I'm taking liberties here and assuming that it wasn't just a mass drain on the powers of the Daewls, but rather that the fact that the Daewls HAD powers allowed Soyala to take from them what she needed. I speculate that she took protection from the bravest, and stability from the strongest... so on and so forth, draining each jivvin of something diffrent but needed, and it was this 'taking of their individual strengths' that killed them. (how does a jivvin who is truly brave live long after his braveness is depleted). Roddik was in among the daewls willingly giving power, and because what he did best was reamin calm and assertive knowing exactly who and what he was, Soyala took from him 'memory' and 'identity' for the doors so that people would be able to remain themselves after traveling through them, and 'purpose' for the mask in the village so that people would turn away, not remembering where they were headed when they started. Once Soyala had taken 'identity' and 'purpose' it was almost like Roddik had dissapeared. You could see him and talk to him, but it became difficult to place him in memories and situations once he left. It was almost as if people's brains denied that he existed for them, not having an identiy or purpose as a label. Once those three traits had been taken, Soyala seemed not to notice him and didn't take from him as much as she did all the others. When they were done, everyone wandered of, and him among them.
I don't know that Soyala remembers him completely, that's up to you Moo, but I know that he doesn't remember her, and would make an excellent spy since noone would be able to really remember him... also someone who had a good ability with brains could use him, since he's not using his brain to store memories, someone else might be able to. And even then, people in taverns and other places wouldn't notice him usually, and wouldn't remember that he'd been there.... and he'd never know that he'd been used. He's also about as loyal and laid back as they come.
As for him still being alive, he's much older in physicality than Soyala and is deffintely on the decline because of the 'funneling' but he only had three traits removed, and the removal of 'memory' took the pressure off of him, and he's much more relaxed not knowing that he's much less effective now. I'm thinking that it was partially the knowledge of their lessened situations that helped kill the Dawels from the old days.
Full name:: Roddik (Due to the fact that he doesn't have 'identity' anymore it takes a great deal of effort on his part to remember his own name. )
Reasons for the name(s):: His bond in the castle gave it to him when he was hatched.
Date of Birth/Apparent Age/Approximate Age:: Roddik is old. He had been with Lembic (his bond) since the man was about 30. Lembic lived to an old age before the masacres started. As far as Daewls go, he's one of the oldest now, though in comparrison to other massacre and castle born jivvins he's not old at all... the difference is that he really really looks it... the amount of power and life he gave to make the doors aged him more in a physical sense than normal... Like a thin santa with a well trimmed beard.
If they were alive during the masacres, were they bonded? To whom? He was bonded to Lembic, an alchemist of the caslte. An older man with no real interest in anything except science and magics. The Alchemist was given a Daewl by a high standing lord, because of the magics present in the rank, but became dissatisfied with Roddik's lack of impressive magical traits. He never treated Roddik badly, but let the jivvin grow in his 'care' being mostly ignored and treated like a talking dog. Roddik was taught to help in the workshop with mild tasks and fire tending and such, but was never thought of as family or scribe or anything more than 'pet'. When the masacres happened, his master released his bond out of fear that if the jivvin were to be killed, he too would die. Roddik was cut out into the forest as a young adult daewl with no goodbye or anything. He found later in life that he thoroughly enjoyed his new found freedom.

If they are Daewl, what is thier one power?:: He has the ability to manifest music from nowhere, and inspire others to play at his whim. Sadly his singing voice doesn't hold up all that well, tending to be more spoken and scratchy.
Skin Tone:: Pale and Pasty. Wrinkles where they count, in the corners of his eyes and mouth, in his forehead. He's very happy always.
Height:: 5'11"
Weight/Body Build:: He's thin and mildly muscular for an old guy.
Hair:: White/grey with black undertones. Used to be Black.
Eyes:: Brown
Ear colours/markings:: Dark Grey and Black ears no real markings
Tail colours/markings:: Dark grey and Black tail no real markings
Peculiar Physical Traits:: He has several scars and normal injuries consistant to a jivvin of his age.
Distinguishing Marks:: none really. He's quite unremarkable.
Health:: He's old. Not only in physical age, but also in the fact that he was partially funneled into the magic of the forest and doors.
Senses:: average. He's got great hearing though.
Voice:: deep and scratchy. Everything he says is spoken from the heart.
Mannerisms:: He's a laid back, hands in his pockets kind of guy.
Clothes/shoes/accessories:: Normal leather breeks, boots and white shirt with lace up collar.
Eating habits/mannerisms/tastes:: He, honestly, doesn't have a care in the world about what he eats.
PART II. GENERAL
Occupation/Social Status in Rank:: He has no social status due to his past. Before the creation of the doors and forest maskings, he was a mildly highstanding individual in the Daewl ranks... mostly because he could be trusted and was completely honest in all things... not because he was powerful.
Views on Rank responsibilites:: He's way too laid back. His brain tells him that there's nothing to worry about, so he doesn't worry. This includes the rank responsibilites. The last thing he can truly remember is all the Daewls funneling their powers into the forest maskings and door, so he honestly thinks that all is always well. Thus there is no responsibilities.
Education/ Intelligence:: He was very intielligent before, and is so now, but he can't keep anything in mind for longer than ten minutes once his situation changes (i.e. the person he's talking to leaves, or he turns his attention to something else.)
Marital Status:: currently single. He's dated a lot though. He's a great one night stand if you can remember him.
Political Thoughts/ Views of Ranks and Vhaid:: He's of an old school mind. Ranks are deffinite, Daewls really run things, Vhaids are goofy figureheads that are great for a beer and a laugh.
Beliefs/ Values/ Strength of Beliefs:: He believes in truth, music, loyalty, magic...
What is his/ her usual disposition?:: Calm. Slightly misty in the head when it comes to everything. He's the guy who steps out of a cabin and says 'now what did I come out here for?'
Optimist/ Pessimist? :: Terrible optimist.
Confident/Self-conscious? :: Confident. He can't remember ever failing anything.
How does he/she feel about his/her appearance? :: He hasn't looked at his reflection in years and years. He knows what his tail looks like and apparently he does a good job of keeping his hair short.
Most important possession:: metal collar put on him by his master in the old days. One of the few things that he remembers now. He NEVER wears it.
Talents :: Roddik can manifest music and seems to have a good talent to matching it to the mood of his setting. He isn't a really good singer but that certainly doesn't stop him.
What is a normal day like for this Jivvin?:: Roddik has no 'normal' days... he can't remember what he's done or was going to do from one ten minute interval to another. He does have a cabin that he got before he lost his memory but it's VERY sparsely furnished because he never thinks to get things for it.
What is a normal rainy day like for this Jivvin?:: Same.
Greatest Fear:: Being taken back into captivity by humans.
What do they want most?:: He wants to be married/life bonded.
Major Goals::

3. There isn't another... because he can't think of anything.
PART III. RELATIONSHIPS
Significant Other/Relationship:: Roddik has been with many over the years, never really thinking more of it. While bonded he was bred twice, and in the brief time after when he was free (that he can remember) he took many into his bed, but only other daewls since his master had raised him to be 'pure'. His favourite 'bedding' was Soyala... then the forest was magic'd and he lost his memory. Since then he's been with many, and can remember only three women since then... he thinks of them all as separate jivvins (The rain, the white rose, and winter are the ways that he associates them in his head.) but the irony is that they're all Soyala... and the only reason he can even remember her slightly is because he knew her before, and the inability to create new memories keeps him from associating her actual personality with those three nights. That being said, he doesn't think about Soyala all the time, but when he does see her she piques his interest more than others because she's a clearer shadow in his head.
Who does he/she live with?:: He lives by himself in the small, unruly cabin that he lived in at the start.
Who does he/she spend the most time with?:: Anyone who happens across him. Mostly himself.
Father/Relationship with him/Rank/Current Status:: His father figure would be Lembic, the alchemist from the old days. He liked the man but had no real respect for him after the massacres.
Mother/Relationship with her/Rank/Current Status:: He never really had a mother figure, though several took care of him, and helped him see the advantage to being a free unbonded creature after the massacres.
Siblings/Ranks/Current Status:: Two siblings, both Daewl, both dead, one during the massacres, one before of a sickness.
Best Friend/Rank/Current Status:: No friends... he can't remember them from day to day. He doesn think about several of his rank from before the incident, and doesn't quite know that they're dead.
Feelings toward animals:: He respects them, but will kill, skin, and eat them should he feel the need.
How does he/she view their family?:: He thought that he loved Lembic, but realized later that he only had a fearful respect for the man.
How does he/she view their friends?:: He thinks very highly of all of them... and doesn't realize that they've been dead for hundreds of years.
How does their family view them?:: He has no family left that he knows of. He never heard anything of the first or second breeding after they happened.
How do their friends view them?:: If his friends could remember him, they'd like him a lot. He's a good guy with a great personality.
Who is their hero?:: He would say that every jivvin who managed to get free in the massacres is his hero.
