I don't really have a favorite book, but I've liked the books I have read so far. In school we read a novel called The Great Gatsby. The Great Gatsby is a work of fiction that takes place in the 1920's. Many students in my grade didn't like the book, but I liked it. Two other books that I'm reading right now are Rant and The Catcher in The Rye. Both of those books are great and interesting to read, but I suggest you shouldn't read them until you're older. My English class is reading The Catcher in The Rye and it has sexual references. Rant has a WHOLE lot more sexual references in it than The Catcher in The Rye.

To me, it can be funny like when the main character in The Catcher in The Rye said that this lady had big knockers; however, I am disgusted by the really detailed stuff in Rant. Rant is worth reading, but it wouldn't be appropriate if you're a ten year old or even a teenager.

The book was very descriptive on that specific part with a lot of dialogue which I should not mention.

I bet it's gonna take me more than a week to finish one book. I read a Goosebump book before. It only took me at least 3 days to finish it. I really want all the books for my birthday! My Aunt said she might give me all the books because she read them all... in four days. I seriously don't doubt that...

I also want to see the movie, too. Why does people even think Twilight, the movie, is SUCH a wonderful movie? Is it because of the person that plays Edward?

Edward came off as a controlling, stalker, emo guy to me personally. I kind of read it for laughs. There are better vampire books out there if it is vampires you like and there are better male characters. But I won't make this in to a Twilight rant.

My favorite book series are: The Lord of the Rings Trilogy because it is epic. It is also interesting that there is no religion in the books despite it being such a large and developed world. I loved the characters. Sam will forever be my hero. I am also crazy about the movies. His Dark Materials (or The Golden Compass, The Subtle Knife and The Amber Spyglass): this series changed my perceptions of what the afterlife and god and the universe could be. It was amazing. The Chronicles of Narnia: because it is classic. Susan Cooper's The Dark is Rising, again really really good with amazing imagery.
A list of randoms with reasons too long to explain my likings: The Book Thief(Zusak), Dark Lord of Derkholm, Walk Two Moons (Creech), Impulse (Hopkins), Hawk Song (Atwater-Rhodes), Holler If You Hear Me: the diary of a Young Black Man in America, Lullabye (by the author of Fight Club...I can't spell his last name) er...there are too many....I read a lot.

I bet I would have read the Twilight series, but usually very large fan bases make me turn away from them. Girls are way too obsessed with Edward.romenlady89 A list of randoms with reasons too long to explain my likings: The Book Thief(Zusak), Dark Lord of Derkholm, Walk Two Moons (Creech), Impulse (Hopkins), Hawk Song (Atwater-Rhodes), Holler If You Hear Me: the diary of a Young Black Man in America, Lullabye (by the author of Fight Club...I can't spell his last name) er...there are too many....I read a lot. I want to read Haunted just out of curiosity since I have heard it has triggered the gag reflex quite often. Chuck just goes there.

I think my friend has read several of his books. I like Chuck's sense of humor in Rant. If his works are like Rant, I guess I should try reading his other works.
