Nisroc whistled softly to himself as he flew through the sky, his eyes ever searching for Misti. His memories were starting to fade now, it had been years since he had seen her, the gentle flowing hair that caressed her face and bounced as she moved was the only thing he could see perfectly, yet when he forced himself to concentrate he would think about the yellow scale like sparkles upon her legs, the elongated lashes around her eyes. So beautiful, perfect in almost every detail, but now it was fading. The very notion was heart breaking to him.

Sighing he found a clearing within a heavy leaved forest, lowering his position in the sky he flapped his might wings and stretched them for added balance as he descended swiftly. Landing with a soft ‘thump’ upon the moist ground, the grass cling to him with each movement hindering his usually fluid movements. Shaking his wings quickly he brought them close into his sides once more, they were heavy which sometimes made him appear clumsy. He loved the forest, he knew she loved the forest, perhaps that would be the place that they finally found each other again?

Yawning for a moment after his long flight he set off onto his forest adventure, taking a step into the canopy of the unknown trees, the familiar green colour of the leaves reminded him of her, the butterflies that flouted around him was his only true connection despite the distance between them, if she was even still alive.

Smiling he shifted those thoughts to the back of his mind, he would figure everything out in due time, now he would just go for a walk, and enjoy his own company for a while. Think about the past, about the future. Everyone had a future right?

User Image Belle was sleeping in a darkened cave in the middle of the forrest. Was it still day time or night? She was sound asleep still so she figured it was day. She couldn't come out in the day time, her new allergy made her skin highly sceptable to the sunlight. She burned easy, almost scorching her skin. She was tired too, her eyes were heavily asleep, she felt numb and so tired it hurt to open her golden eyes. Musette was at the cave entrance guarding it carefully, in case anything happened she could awaken her mistress. Nothing was to be worried of at the moment, though she heard a large figure coming.

Musette growled lowly, Belle's eyes however did not flutter open yet remained closed. The lion could only pray that her mistress not be awakened in the day. She would be very hungry and not for grass either.

Nisroc continued to move through the forest, the light was fading through the trees now, yet it was clear that there was still a good few hours of light left before it sank into the world once more to be locked away from watching eyes. He took in a deep breath of air as he walked; the scent of the trees was delicious, tender to his nose. He loved nature, yet it seemed empty now.

Suddenly he caught a scent that seemed different to anything nature had to offer him, a creature of some description. He turned his head in an effort to locate the source of the smell which was when he noted the opening to a cave; curiosity consumed his steps now as he walked towards it. His nose continued to catch the scent of some creature, he called, his words slightly harsher than he intended. "Who’s there?"

As his nose attempted to separate the smells around him he noted the distinctive smell of blood, concentrated iron mixed with other minerals and water, he did not understand why such a thing would appear so strangely here. Defensively he placed a snarl upon his lips and drew his giant wings tightly in at his sides, they were usually a good shield from the cold, now he hoped they would come in handy if what his curiosity had led him towards was of evil intent. Although fear gripped and pulled at the back of his mind he continued. Determined to overcome his own short comings, for her.

Musette growled lowly coming from the undergrowth of the cave her eyes were dead set on the stallion who had made his way to the entrance. Her golden eyes narrowed on him. "You should leave now." she growled. Her ears were flattened upon her feline face, "You won't want to see my mistress when she first wakes up." she warned, but by that time she was too late. The cat's tail twitched as she crouched low to the ground smelling those sweet roses and hearing that seductive and melodramatic voice.

"Who wouldn't want to be around?" she insisted. The soquili's eyes weren't as golden but more eerily tinted with specks of red. She yawned bearing her pealy white fangs. Before the stallion had a chance to say a word she was on him like a cat and mouse.

Her long canines sunk into the strange males throat, his purple curls falling over her own crimson ones. She could taste the metalic fluid within moments. She could feel her eyes roll back, as she gathered as she needed. She wouldn't kill him. She didn't need to. She was almost at the point to where she could let go, and she did. She took a few steps back from him, her own eyes glittering back to that golden hue. Her saliva had some sort of pheromone to heal her bite to make it almost painless...until the next day. She would've smirked at the thought, but she was getting the after shocks of her life line were still processing.

Nisroc eyed the cat creature curiously as it spoke, shrugging his shoulders lightly he simply grunted, he was never one to simply accept the words of others, always preferring to investigate on his own. After all how could he call himself an explorer and stand up to Misti with an honest heart when he told her of all the wondrous things he had discovered? After all he was still utterly convinced that their hearts would be reunited, be it in this world or another.

He slowly allowed himself to think of her he felt his pulse increase and his temperature rise. Suddenly he saw a whitish blur leave the cave, he moved slightly, defensively but was unable to stop the force that equally suddenly gripped at his neck. Instincts kicked in as he found himself wiggling and writhing in a desperate attempt to get free, he knew not of this creature or its intention. Slowly he felt the heat drain from his cheeks and his heart beat slower, feeling drained as the creature moved away. He tried to focus on the catlike creature near the floor but could only make out the blurred silhouettes of the shapes so clear mere minutes before. Limply his hair flopped to the ground, with all his force he attempted to push himself back onto all fours. His vision started returning in dribs and drabs, so that he could once again distinguish colours, shortly followed by shapes, shortly followed by the realisation of what had happened.

His neck stung as he turned to face the creature only moments before attached to him, a snarl lit across his lips as glanced. She was beautiful yet he suspected it to be a trick. "Demon" he called, anger burnt within him even in his slightly dizzy form. He felt violated. Dirty. Objectified.

Without thinking, he charged towards her screaming, "How dare you!" Although he felt himself impact upon her cold flesh he instantly knew that his lack of energy made his charge into a mere tap. He felt ashamed. Snarling once more he stepped back and looked to the floor. What would he do now? He couldn’t fight off another attack, nor could he initiate one himself. Perhaps this was the true destiny he could not see. Misti would not join him now.
