Ryuk leaned calmly against a wall as he surveyed the training room. It was one of the larger ones and that was good since today's lesson's equipment took up a lot of space.

The floor as always was lined with blue safety mats first of all.

Then there were two rows of long balance beam like bars three sets of bars to each row. These were to get the trainees more used to a not fully stable or flat surface. They were also occasionally decorated used in productions. the bars were only a few feet off the ground and posed little threat if you fell which was also a good point for them.

A few feet further away was small tight rope about 3 meters long and about two meters off the ground. Trickier than the poles for certain more advanced but slightly less daunting than what came next.

Last at the far back of the room was set up a full length tight roped stretching from nearly one end of the room to the other. Spread beneath it was a net as a fall from it would certain have ended in injury.

In today's lesson balance was key, the ability to walk run , and tumble without showing a hint of falling had to be mastered. Some performers were already accustomed to the tight rope and others weren't depending on the skill level they displayed the cat man had different challenges to throw at them.

For now Ryuk waited, ears twitching as he listened for the sound of his student's feet or voices.

It felt good to be back. One trip home to visit for the holidays, and she was already missing her job. Of course, it was time for a class, and she walked into the building.

"Tight rope, huh..?" She smiled to herself, interested to see how'd she do on another 'balance heavy' course. She ended up arriving after Natalie did, happy to see the wolves and the girl again.

"Hey!" She grinned, hugging Natalie, "It's been forever!" Chiyako then gave a smile to Keid and Beid. "Hey guys! Have a good holiday?" She bent down to pat the wolves, still smiling brightly.

Kayla was running late but at least class hadn't started yet, the redhead through as she spilled into the room. It was a bit embarrassing she'd woken up and soon realized that that time of the month had snuck up on her and she'd needed to add an extra shower in the morning to her schedule now instead of just ones after practice or at night like usual. Her hair was a bit damp but it wasn't too wet and she was otherwise ready to get down to work.

The novice flashed Ryuk and smile then grinned at the other girls " hey"

Chiyako grinned, hugging Natalie back. "My holiday was great. A little boring, but still fun, as usual." She smiled down at the wolves again. "I went back to Japan for a bit to see Mom and Dad. Got so many souveniers it isn't funny."

She then turned to see Kayla walk in. This one, she didn't know. "Hello." She greeted in return, curious. Was she new? Old? Curiousity was peeking up on her.

Both wolves nodded to Chiyako. Natalie's ears rose "Really that 's cool?" Natalie hadn't been home since she's come. But she never expected to go home her parents didn't really care... "Going to Japan sounds like fun." Natalie turned to the other girl there.

Natalie smiled watching the other girl, it didn't seem as though she was too bothered by Natalie's two friends. Natalie was excited some one else didn't mind Either Keid or Beid.

"It's nice to meet Kayla, I'm Natalie and that's Keid and beid." she smiled wide glad to see her invitation was accepted. "Come on Chiyako." she said moving further into the room giving her more space around herself to stretch. Natalie began stretching her legs first...

Kayla smiled as she listened to the other girls talk. She stood on one foot extending the other and rotating it's ankle. She'd worked with tightrope before but it wasn't here best element for sure. Her issue wasn't balance so much as preferring to have more room to walk and she was still struggling a bit with her ability to turn smoothly on it, although that seemed to work better on the balance poles than the actual tight rope. Either way she needed the extra practice and Ryuk was supposed to be teaching them some harder moves if they got that far today.

Roslice slipped quickly into the training room. She hated being late, but she had gotten caught up elsewhere. Today it was tightrope. The violet haired girl was impartial to tight rope walking and spinning. Grace and balance was never a problem, and couldn't be to any of the novice's admitted, but it was the fact that one mistake and a lack of preparation could mean death. Actually doing things and tumbling on the lower tight rope wasn't a problem, but doing anything more than walking on the higher one was. Roslice didn't have a whole lot of experience, though she did have a natural affinity to activities that required precision and balance, because without those two skills she would never be able to use her specialty--fire batons.

The novice smiled lightly and moved towards the other girls, glad that class hadn't started yet. Roslice needed practice and some pushing, and that was what Ryuk was for. Hopefully, Roslice would be able to push back some of her inhibitions and be a bit more bold with her movements.

Chiyako nodded with another bright smile, balancing on her hands for a little bit before tottering over, landing on her back with a laugh. "I've never been too good at that." She admitted sheepishly. Everyone had their weaknesses....

She then noticed the new arrival, grinning. Another trainee in the group? She was starting to feel a little out of place, then wondered about Kayla's rank....She had to be either a novice or above, since she seemed to have about the same amount of experience, if not more.
"So what rank are you, Kayla?" Chiyako asked, smiling. She had definitely been here a while if she knew the staff by name....
