MOD RECRUITMENT
So the guild is just barely up and running but I am sure that eventually Per7ect and I will need some help keeping it so fresh and so clean ^__^
After application review administered by Per7ect and myself,
three players have been chosen to be promoted to a moderator position.

WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS ELIGIBILITYTo apply for the position of moderator you must first fullfill the following requirements: Have been an active member of Gaia for at least 6 months.
Have at least 100 posts.
Have a very good knowledge of Animal Crossing.
Have a very good knowledge of this forum and it's intentions.

I would like to moderate the guild, I am getting on a little more than I used to, and I'd rather be in a guild than stuck in a thread with a bunch of idiots that I can't just ban hammer. It drives me insane. Anyway, I do have moderator experience, I was in a pretty big guild before some drama started up and then everyone leaving. So, I hope you accept me. :3

Oooooo :3 Could i be a Mod? I get on everyday on both Ac and Gaia so ill be on frequently umm most everyone knows me and ive had all 3 ac games so i could help when questions are asked biggrin Ok that is all <3

Oohh, being a mod would be fun, but it would also be a lot of hard work.
I think I want to try it though. I'm on the site everyday already, so it probably won't be a much of a hassle.
I also think that if would be a cool idea to have giveaway every once-in-a-while. :O

The date you registered to Gaia: I do not know the exact date but i joined shortly after gaia was made :3 but i have been hacked a few times since then so there is no proof of this im sorry sweatdrop

2] Your current post count: 28557, if you’re going by how long I’ve been on Gaia.
3] Any previous website/moderating experience: I was a moderator on a few guilds when I was on Neopets, and I am a mod in one of my friend’s guild as well although nothing bad happens.
4] What you have to offer to the team that will make us even greater: I’m online every day (and most of the time it’s on Gaia), so I can keep an active eye on the guild.
5] Why you want to be a part of our moderation team: I feel like I can make a good contribution to the guild by keeping an eye on things, and I’m very easy/nice to talk to. However, I will be firm and “strict” if need be. :3
6] What is/are your biggest strength(s)? Choose one or more of the following and state why:
a. Post editing - I certainly wouldn’t abuse it.
b. Spam detection, deletion, and prevention – if someone keeps posting spam (like a spam bot or just “wont listen to the rules”,
c. Anger control – I know how to be a good “calm down-er” whenever an argument breaks out. If they still insist on fighting or it gets way out of hand, I’ll contact you (Slush) or one of the other admins/mods in this guild for further action, if it’s something I can’t handle myself.
I think the guild looks pretty good, so far. :3
7] List the AC games you currently play and for how long you have been playing: (WW and/or CF):I currently play City Folk, although I’ve put A LOT of hours into my Wild World and the original gamecube game. So I have a very good “library of knowledge” about the AC games.

What is/are your biggest strength(s)? Choose one or more of the following and state why: Post editing I wouldn't post edit anything unless it goes against the rules.
Spam detection, deletion, and prevention I'm not very tolerant for people who spam.
Anger control I have a bit of anger problem but I'm in anger management in my own little way. I've got a good venting system. So no need to worry about foul language ^^
Forum suggestions for improvement It looks good so far, but maybe we can get a few contests or some games going to keep the guild active.
List the AC games you currently play and for how long you have been playing: (WW and/or CF) I have both, but currently started playing City Fold, so I'm not playing Wild World much anymore. I also have the Animal Crossing for the GC but don't play that anymore because it deleted my data..and I'm angry at it ><

Any previous website/moderating experience: Let's see... the old acmecity.com Pokemon webpage forums... a few IRC chatrooms... let's just say, heavy experience.
What you have to offer to the team that will make us even greater: I come online daily, I know loads about AC, and I'm willing to lead OR follow.
Why you want to be a part of our moderation team: I like being able to meet up here for AC; I want it to continue, and if this place is well moderated, it will continue. So, here I am, ending a moderation retirement (maybe).
What is/are your biggest strength(s)? Choose one or more of the following and state why: Post editing -- when things break the TOS, I'm there to fix it.
Spam detection, deletion, and prevention -- I handle spam filtering for all my family's email accounts... this would just be like adding one more.
List the AC games you currently play and for how long you have been playing: : I've been playing WW since its launch, although my town is a bit neglected at the moment. CF is now my focus, as I started on 11/17/08, and haven't missed a day since.

Any previous website/moderating experience: I was the founder of the RP Getsugakure, The Village Hidden in the Moon, it continues to be an incredibly successful organization. I also acted in a moderating position in Konohagakure, The Village Hidden in the Leaves, another VERY successful guild that like this spawned from a thread.
What you have to offer to the team that will make us even greater: I am incredibly organized, turning absolutely everything I do into a goal oriented task. I have even gone so far as to categorize every item that I have purchased in Animal Crossing in order to help out anybody who might be looking for an item that I might own (this can be found in my journal). I have in the past and will continue in the future to show the leadership skills that this guild needs to stay organized and orderly.
Why you want to be a part of our moderation team: I want to be part of the moderator team because I have a drive to help others and make things easier on everybody. My goal in life is bringing order to otherwise chaotic situations.
What is/are your biggest strength(s)? Choose one or more of the following and state why:
Spam detection, deletion, and prevention - I have spent large portions of my life learning how to find and remove spam. My tactic is to approach those who I find spamming through PM's, in order to remove the 'awkward' feelings associated with calling them out in a public forum. Due to the fact that I am a Computer Science major, I am in front of a computer for 8-9 hours a day and have plenty of time to spend combing through forums in a guild.
Forum suggestions for improvement - One of my passions is coming up with new and interesting idea's. My goal in life is to be a video game designer and I live with the mentality that every idea might be the 'next big thing' which causes me to write down almost everything I am thinking. I then comb through these ideas and find the very best ones, which I either create or share with others whom I trust. I of course realize that any idea's would need to be discussed, as a team, with all other moderators, hopefully via MSN or AIM in order to allow for a more free form of dialogue and problem solving.
List the AC games you currently play and for how long you have been playing: Currently I am playing Animal Crossing: City Folk. I have owned Animal Crossing: Wild World (Which somehow vanished into the recesses of my room) and the original Animal Crossing, but I no longer play either of them, preferring to stay 'current' with my Animal crossing City Folk.
