Any of you musicians use any of the line6 recording equipment? I'm debating whether to get the POD UX2 studio or not

http://line6.com/podstudioux2/index.html?utm_source=Index&utm_medium=DropDown&utm_campaign=PODStudioUX2

My brother has it and says it's great, but I'm wondering if any of you have used line6 products before...?

I had a spider II for a while, and it was enjoyable but it's pretty much a mono-tonal amp :/

line 6 are good (for solid-state) as far as amplification goes, but i dont really have any experience with their recording equipment.

What kind of recording equipment are you buying?

I heard Line 6 amps suck, but I've heard nothing about their recording equipment. I don't own any Line 6 recording equipment, everything I have is from other companies.

well, yes, tube amps are going to be much better than any solid state amp. but even with a tube amp, there's a lot better ones than peavey. marshall's and mesa boogies are like escargot, vox and fender are prime rib, peavey is like... peavey is like the fruitcake of guitar amps. solid state is like eating fecal matter.

The guitarist in my band has one, though its a solid state, its the best damn solid state amp I've ever heard. Whats weird though is I've never seen another one, all the ones I see are tube amps.

It was the best tube amp I could get for the money. It does its job well, I must say. It's also considerably light compared to other tubes, and I move around a LOT between dorms and my house. If I were to buy an expensive tube amp, I'd probably get a KRANK, vader, or ENGL. I played a krank tube amp. I forget which version it was, but holy s**t it sounded nice. It was so awesome T-T

i played a krank too, and it sounded like s**t. must've been a different model.

i got a vox ac50 on clearance, and its amazing. although i know mesa-boogie's and marshall's are supposed to be better, i would NOT trade that vox in for one of those "better" amps. marshall's and mesa-boogie's both sound nice, but i can't get quite the same sound out of them that i get out of my vox - it's perfect for what i need it for

Possibly, but it was a KRANK head on a marshall cabinet (Atleast from what I can recall >.>), I'm dying to play a mesa-boogie...everyone says they are so good -.-

I have a solid state marshall and it sounds pretty damn good.
