"Come now, bunnies aren't scary..." Maziel cooed to the apprehensive boy beside him. He pat the boy's soft roan fir quietly, pulling a softer white bunny into his arms. The bunny curled up contentedly, used to being handled by people in the petting zoo they were in. The male smiled and tried to get the boy with him to touch the soft fur of the bunny. He and his brother had brought their newly adopted son here simply because he thought cute things like bunnies and ponies would be helpful to have the boy get used to changes in his surroundings. Unfortunately, it wasn't going as well as he had hoped. With the new centaur potions, the odd looks only came from those who were completely new. Instead, the Gaians around him asked how the kid got the 'cool' scars and the pure white eye. The child cowered from everyone and seemed to run away from the moment's danger.

He hoped he wouldn't have a put a harness on the boy to keep from him getting away. That would only scare him more. He smiled and took the boy's hand to place it on the ever-complacent white rodent. "See?"

Xeviel watched the two silently, sitting on a patch of clean ground close by. Unfortunately for him, the rabbits seemed to like him more than he wanted. There were rabbits surrounding him, hopping on and sitting in his lap, arms, shoulders and anywhere they could get on him. It was a ridiculous sight, but if he chose to show violence to any of the furry creatures his brother would surely be angry with him. He would tolerate the humiliation of being loved by white puffballs for his brother, and so he did. He gritted his teeth and tolerated it.

Malik hand struggled to get away from his father's kindly firm grip as he was forced to touch the puffball. He grimaced and waited for some sort of pain, but none came. He opened his good eye in surprised and watched as the rabbit sniffed his still-trembling hand. The creature then licked it gently. He slowly stroked the soft white fur, starting to smile as he did so. The rabbit was cute... he liked the rabbit. He stoked more now, enjoying the feel of fur beneath him. He slowly pulled it out of his father;s arms and into his own, pressing the creature against his chest. ]

It was an odd party that approached the petting zoo. One young man with a streak of white in his shoulder length brown hair, dressed all in blue. One blue skinned, green haired teenage girl. One 12 year old blond girl with huge green wings and feathered feelers coming out of her forehead, and one bronze dragon the size of a horse.

The boy and the girl, Korin and his 'older' sister Aysel, were arguing as the young man paid for admittance and feed.

"A petting zoo is lame! We should have gone to the mall or the movies. Someplace not for little kids. Taliesin'll be bored," the blond protested vhemently.

"We already went there. Mom said to show him thing's he'd not've seen before," Korin defended his choice of locations.

"Surely they have rabbits."

"Maybe but it's a Gaian zoo." And there the boy had a point. While most of the animals there were fairly normal, there were several bright blue cats, unicorn type things, and heavens knew what else. The young man, this Taliesin, simply sighed and followed the two bickering siblings, the dragon keeping pace at his side.

"They fight much," the dragon rumbled out haltingly, looking up at Taliesin. "Worry not. Happy!" he urged the young man. All the dragon got for his efforts was another sigh. Poor man... the dragon mumbled in it's own language before catching up with his partner.

Korin suddenly broke off from the group. "Look! Bunnies!" he exclaimed before he headed off to the small white fluffy things, not paying any attention to the family already there.

Malik was the first to spot the creature. It was brown, it was big and it was scary. Immediately he stomped one hoof and dropped his bunny as another from the group ran towards him. The bunny let out a small cry of pain and dashed away. Malik was about to run as well when the younger of the two fathers grabbed him by the shoulder roughly. His eyes showed, for a moment, frustration, and then understanding. He pressed himself to Xeviel's body to try and calm himself, looking past the friendly arms to look at the new kid and the oncoming lizard creature.

Xeviel pressed the boy close to his own body, hating to see the kid afraid like this. He grunted at the people approaching. A dragon, huh. He didn't know an item could make a dragon like that. He knew the fallen wish could, but it was silver and not bronze. He growled disagreeingly with the situation as the one panicked rabbit ran, panicking all the other rabbits for a moment.

Maziel was the first to introduce himself. "Oh, hello!" He smiled and picked up a panicked bunny, soothing it softly with a gentle touch. He then put the bunny down and let it calm the other rabbits down. Thankfully, it worked wonders. He picked up a now calm bunny and placed it in Malik's hands once more, before turning to the new group. "Hello!" He said again.

Korin stumbled as the other group there noticed him. He slowed down enough that the rest of his family caught up, and attempted to lose himself in the crowd. It was one thing to go look at bunnies when you think no one else will pay attention, it's another thing entirely when they call out to you.

Fortunatly Aysel didn't have nearly the problem that Korin had with new people. "Hi!!" she chirped at the man. "Sorry if Apala scared the bunnies. I told Korin that we shouldn't go to a petting zoo, particularly not with Apala along. He just wouldn't listen though. Pala," she turned to the dragon, "I don't suppose you'd wait outside?" She asked, although from the tone of her voice she already knew the answer.

"No..." the dragon worked out, not very fluent in the human tounge, "I watch," he insisted. The girl, Aysel, rolled her eyes and flipped her hair off her shoulder.

"Sorry..." She said apologetically to the man again.

Malik whimpered softly, pressed against protective arms much more used to fighting than of peace. He stared at the large dragon in sheer terror. The creature was huge and oh so scary. He had no clue what to do in reaction to something so large and frightening. He depended on his fathers to react to the situation properly.

Xeviel kept his boy close to him, giving a suspicious gaze to a male running away and a girl chirping hellos and other bullshit at them. He growled softly at the dragon, very, very suspicious of that dragon.

Maziel nodded. "It's alright, Malik." He spoke to the boy, but the words also was for his brother. That reassurance would be told with a simple look. He placed a rabbit in the arms of his twin to keep him busy wish it and keeping Malik safe while he turned off the stress of this situation. Poor boy. "It's alright. My child is just slightly jumpy, that's all." He smiled at Aysel. "It's fine. What're your names?" He asked contentedly.
