"Outsiders aren't really welcome where we're going, so don't be too surprised if you get a bunch of piercing glares..." Nebilim said as they flew over the water and a floating chunk of earth came into view.

"Don't say i didn't warn you. That's all im saying." Nebilim said as she touched down on a protruding platform that looked like a ceremonial circle of sorts. "Wow...I'd heard a lot about this place, but it's nothing like the stories..." she said looking around. the whole place looked half ruined and what few people there were all seemed to be timid and frightened, all rushing on their way when they saw the visitors.

"This could be harder than i thought, but not in the way i'd imagined..." Nebilim said as she and Nerd headed down the road, looking around at the frightened folk who ducked into houses, closed doors, and shut windows as the pair passed by. "Any idea how we get information like this?"

a boy that had previously been watching through a window suddenly burst out from one of the houses and stood before them in the street. he had golden blond hair and didn't look much older than fourteen. "Please, that isn't necessary! Whatever you have come here for, i'll gladly help you with if it'll bring your departure from here all the sooner." despite his young appearance, he was quite calm and surprisingly mature.

"Whatever you've come here for, i'll help you find it, but then i have to ask that you leave right away. The people here haven't taken kindly to outsiders since this city was raised." the boy said as he walked up to Nerd and Nebilim.
"Um, it's a bit of a long story, but we're looking for someone named 'Mithos'..." Nebilim said looking down at the boy. "We're just going off of stories that haven't been told for thousands of years, but it's kind of important..."
the boy looked away with a grim look on his face. "...It's Martel, isn't it...?"

"Please come with me..." the boy said looking back up at the two as he turned to start walking. "This isn't the best place to talk, and you'll scare the others here."
Nebilim just looked at Nerd and shrugged as she followed the boy. they were led over a stone walkway that connected the town to another chunk of earth. it turned out the whole town was divided amongst different chunks all connected by stone bridges.
"It's been a while since anyone's brought up that name around here..." the boy said once he stopped in the middle of a small field with some scattered remains of some sort of ruins here and there. "Nor can i remember the last time we've had visitors way up here. My name is Mithos...Please, if my sister is involved, i'll help in any way i can."

"First i have to know...has something happened to her? Or is it something she's done?" Mithos asked as he turned to face them. "Because if it's something she's done, i can't say for sure she'll listen to even me any more...though she wasn't always as cold as she is now..." he said with a sigh.
