Mtanizi had to admit, the monotony of the days had been broken slightly by the appearences of new faces in these unfamiliar lands. Pretty, faces, too. He smirked into the dirt as he lay lazily, warm white and orange body half buried in the ground. But wait, could you ever really trust a female? Other than Mataka of course. He was a little more content than usual. This, for the male, was a good day. His mother was off hunting, probably bounding exictedly after something, more interested in engaging in conversation with the creature. He chuckled happily. He loved her bright, enthusiastic personality. How he sometimes wished he was a little more like her.
The sky was clear, and so was his mind. He hoped for another encounter, but realised he could be on his own until his mother came back, which could be hours away. He lay back and relaxed, for once, blue eyes closed.

 Momo was in a great mood, not at all unusual. Generally she was in a great mood every day, but she felt even more high than usual. In truth she was in season, and thus feeling quite flirtatious in her own sort of bizzare way. When she scented another wild dog, and a male at that, in the area then, she was drawn towards his scent like a magnet. The canine female gave a happy, playful yip across the way as she finally came close enough to speak.
Nevermind she was covered in dust from head to paw, aesthetic beauty was somewhat lost on her, really, though she did at least intend to clean herself off while sharing conversation.
"Hello there, friend!"

A scent reached his nose and his eyes snapped open... Something he had not smelt for awhile, and didn't fully recognise until he paused for a second, then a smile crept onto his face.
When the female was in view, his mouth hung open a little. He'd seen little of the colour orange on pelts of wild dogs. Infact, she looked alot like himself, only, beautiful, despite the fact that she was covered in dust, the energy around her that he felt, was attractive.
She spoke and his ears perked up. Friend? Hold on there a minute... The wary male narrowed his eyes.
But she seemed so alluring, what was the harm in a simple conversation?.. Pulling himself off the ground and standing up he moved a little closer to Momo.
"Hi, I'm Mtanizi." He bowed gently infront of the female.
