His slender frame slipped through the darkness, as black as the surrounding darkness his supple, sleek frame overcame every obstacle without a moments thought. This was his place, his land, but he was heading out, out in to the big wide world and he knew he couldn't go alone. Although his brother was coming with him, he knew they would need others, especially if they were met with resistance of any kind from creatures in the outside world. So, he was searching for his adoptive siblings. Although he would never truly call them brother he felt a light bond with the males whom his mother had raised along side them. Though he always knew he was superior, of superior stock, they were still like his siblings so he treated them with respect.

He paused for a moment and set his nose to a slight cool breeze which wafted through the undergrowth. Tani, he would do. With a smile on his maw he made a beeline through the shadows towards the creature whom lurked in the darkness. They would set out on an adventure and he guessed he could tempt the other youngster to come with them, after all they would be protected and they would be bringing back new blood, new females. It was something beneficial to everyone.

'Tani was currently lazing about near the spot he'd sort of 'claimed' for his own ages ago. Though they had been taken care of as cubs, he and his siblings had always been able to wander off on their own. It was sort of assumed... that either they could take care of themselves, or they couldn't. And if they couldn't, it was no one's fault but their own if they got hurt or killed.

Yawning slightly, the red male considered going to see if he could find Kef. He was bored...

"'Tani" His young but powerful voice echoed through the trees as he slipped through them, he was silent upon his paws and he could sneak up on almost anyone, it was a trick his father had taught him, one he enjoyed doing. A charming smile creased his maw as he slipped in to the other males spot, his head held high, his deep, bloody red eyes looking down at the deep mottled red male.

"'Tani" he said again approaching his sort of brother and settling himself in to a sitting position. "I have a proposition for you brother." he used the word brother very loosely, really he simply meant member of the pride , a part of the greater family which was the way his mother usually said it. "How would you like to go on an adventure?" He smirks his dark eyes flashing with an almost violent spark of excitement.

Manda
'Tani blinked a bit lazily at that then yawned slightly and asked, "What kinda adventure?" After all, his 'siblings' had never really paid much attention to him....so why start now?

Asanbosam smirked, he flicked a strand of hair from his ever growing mane out of his eyes and he spoke in a voice which whispered like silk. "To the outside." His eyes glistened his tail flickered and he lapped his tongue over his lips. "My sister the shaman is going to grant us imunity to leave the lands in search of new blood to bring back to the lands, new girls to bring back and expand our bloodline." he paused for a moment "Mother says the pride died out before because there were not enough unrelated lions so we have their blessing to, well, are you in or not?" he beamed, perhaps he sounded too excited but he wanted at least one more male along for the ride.

Manda
'Tani blinked at that, and sat up, ears perking toward the other. To go -outside-? Really? And look for girls to bring back? Oh he was SO in. Sure, he'd been near the borders - that's where he'd met Kef, after all, but he'd never been truly ... outside.

"To look for new girls, huh?" he said, eyes shining now. "Sounds awesome."

Sitting back more calmly now, the dark eyed male gave a light nod. "Good, it's going to be you me and giza so far i may ask another to join us but this is an important mission so you have to keep your head on okay." he smirks, he felt older, wiser and organised in this endeavour, this was his idea, he had put it past his mother and he was pulling it all together. It occurred to him that maybe this should have been Gizas job but he wasn't about to contest it he was enjoying the glory of rounding up troupes so to speak.

"Good, you'll have to go and visit my sister and tell her you are joining the hunt, we will be leaving in a few days after the feast." he flicks his tail his head held high. "We will eat before we leave and probably won't feed properly until we return."

Manda
'Tani scoffed at that and nodded. "Of course I'll 'keep my head on'," he replied, kind of lightly mocking the other. He wasn't dumb, nor was he a cub anymore! He knew how to take care of himself. Maybe even better than Asanbosam did. They would just -see- about that, though...

He nodded at the instructions and his tail twitched back and forth, already excited. "Not a problem," he said confidently.

Asanbosam gave a nod, he had a feeling he could trust 'Tani in times of need, he knew his 'other siblings' had fended for themselves in some parts. His mother never treated them baddly but she had never granted anyone true love. She never really gave him and his true siblings their full blown love. It just wasn't her way but she had supplied them with enough to grow and learn and find their own ways in life. He never really thought about it he felt himself well brought up, a prince, as it was supposed to be.

"Good, see my mother too before we leave, you may not think it but she worries about all of us." he grins a knowing grin, they were all her family she was mother to them all and that was the way it was supposed to be, even if she was more mother to some than to others.

Manda
'Tani kind of waved a paw at that and nodded. "I know, I know," he replied. He would go talk to her, if only because she -had- cared for him when he was really little. He knew that she'd been like that with everyone, though. And he didn't really mind not having a 'true' mother, anyway.

The dark male gave a nod and got to his paws, his deep blood red eyes, those which he had inherited from his father shimmered in the shadows as he turned on his heel. "I will see you at the feast then 'Tani." He have a nod to the other young male, the feeling of joy raising in his chest. "I still have a few more bodies to recruit, hopefully." Flicking his mane from his eyes once again he slipped back off through the trees, he had much to do still and he didn't have time to just sit around and make small talk. There was far too much preperation for a journey in to the light.
