Ivy had been neglecting scavenging for food for nearly two weeks, and now her belly rumbled indignantly every time she peeked into her fridge. It seemed that the television always warned her of new poisons, new diseases, new things to cause cancer, and so the idea of crawling on her hands and knees to find strange plants had grown more frightening to her. In the end, though, her Fae logic always won out and she ended up doing just that, sniffing and rubbing things before placing them in her favorite (recycled!) bag. That was where she was now, a little toadstool in her hand as she scrutinized it. It certainly looked alright! Hrm...
That was as far as her thought process went before something high above her cracked, perhaps under the weight of an over-zealous winter squirrel, and a branch came tumbling down to knock her on the noggin, sending her into a state of unconsciousness.

The spirits working for the powers that be set to their task so soul bonding soon as they had cleaned up the mess created by the tree branch - them things are vicious! Straightening all that up, they pulled Ivy's body away to leave it resting upon a ship floating a ways upon the planet. Her soul, meanwhile, was sent off off and away to bond with that of a deity - or in this case, two.
When the Fae woke up, she was greeted with the sight of a purple woman with a short brown bobbed haircut and a red bellhop's uniform bouncing cheerfully around next to the bed Ivy lay in. Ivy herself now wore a gold chain with a strange little relic upon it, housing the souls of a pair of twin deities.
"Yay! You're up!"

Ivy arched a brow and looked first to the woman, and then to the chain around her neck. She tugged it as if to take it off, but it would go no further than the base of her skull. Had she been...kidnapped? Abducted?
"...hmm?"

"oh, that's not gonna come off. It's magic and is sorta stuck there so none of the guardians accidentally lose or intentionally throw away their charges." Cami offered, her voice warm and friendly as she grinned at the other woman.

"Ah. My liege, your charge, then. What is it?" she asked, smiling and dangling her feet off the table. She was surprisingly calm!

Yay, a calm one who wasn't freaking at her, how awesome. "Like what is it type of being or what is it like what sorta powers?" The two sounded similar but in Cami's brain were very different ideas.

Ivy scratched her hair. Well, if she was asking if she was asking about powers then it was clearly the most common answer which was...!

"Ooh," Ivy said, looking down at the necklace. She wasn't smiling, but she didn't seem unhappy either. She'd lived a good long time without any sort of family. Some kids might be nice!

"Ummmmmmmmm.........." the purple bellhop stared for a long moment before grabbing a nearby palm pilot and poking through it till she found what she wanted. "Um, sorta neither and both. You're getting one hermaphrodite and one that's genderless."
