Dice Instructions

1. In everyone's Journal, there is a Statistic Chart that looks like this:
The number of "X"s next to each Stat tells you the number of dice to use in certain situations.

Statistic Chart
Speed: X
Strength: X
Agility: X
Intelligence: X
Endurance: X

2. During an event, for every action that involves your dragon attempting to push forward in the race, you MUST roll the dice to see if your action succeeds.

This is how you know if you succeed in your action.

Here is the chart explaining what Statistics you will use for certain events:

Event Statistic Chart
Flight Race: Speed and Endurance
Ring Race: Speed and Agility
Road Race: Speed and Endurance
Obstacle Race: Agility and Endurance
Arena Battle: (When Attacking) Strength and Speed / (When Defending) Agility and Endurance
The Maze: (When Inside the Maze) Agility and Intelligence / (When Attacking) Strength and Speed / (When Defending) Agility and Endurance

Using the Dice
For every action you perform in an event, you must roll to see if your action is carried out. You do this by following these steps:

1. Select the Drop Down menu titled "Post Action"
2. Select "Dice Roll"*
3. Under "Select Dice", Select "10 Sided"
4. In "Number of Dice" type in the number of "X"s next to the corrosponding statistics
5. Depending on the roll, you will either fail, or succeed.

Reading the Dice
Every dice roll tells you if your action was successful or not. Here is how you can tell.

If you roll:
1, 2, 3 = Failure
4, 5, 6, 7, 8 = Success
9, 10 = Absolute Success. No matter what the rest of the roll is, these numbers are not effected.

Number Formula:
(# of Success) - (# of Failures) + (# of Absolute Success)= Action Number

The Number of Success you have is the number of spaces you move.

If you have 2 success you move 2 spaces. If you have -1 success, you move back a space!

Example
Current Location: Space 5

Jessa spots the ring below and positions herself in alignment with the ring and puts on more speed.

Stats Used in Ring Race: Speed and Agility
Example Stats:
Speed: XXX
Agility: XXX
Number of Dice used: 6
Number of Successes: 3
Number of Failures: 1
Number of Absolute Successes: 2
3-1+2=4

4= Success!

The next post should look like this:

Example
Current Position: Space 9

Jessa dove for the ring and flew through without any problem. Just as she was coming out of the dive, the wind caught her wings and she sped forward like a blur.

So I started at the starting line, rolled a 4-4-6, so that means my next turn I start at the 3rd spot right?

Ooh thats a good question, cause you can't go 3 spots backward if you're at the start right? So does she only go foward 1?

I should have put it on there that you can't go behind the starting line....if anyone gets a negative roll...we'll just say they kinda dozed off and didn't start running or something like that.

However, later in the race, you will have to go backwards if you get a negative success total

If I.. Did my math right, which I doubt since I've always been bad at math, I got a 12? XD What's this mean in terms of the RP? I get to move forward a space, right?

Man, this is kinda overwhelming, but really cool, too.
