I'm not sur ehow Wicca views mystical creatures such as Spirites or Sylphs but...well I guess I'd like to share an experience of mine with you.

I was moving and I would not be able to see my one good friend for a while but I knew she was at work all day so I just decided to stay home during my break in moving things and just laid down on my bench outside and looked to the sky. There was no wind, a gentle whisp of air enough to move some hair strands but that's it. Then I sighed out of boredom and repeated a phrase from one of my favorite video games (soul calibur but talim) "Wind, guide me..." and believe it or not...a great gust of wind pushed up and nearly made me fall. It stopped until I got up and looked around and then the wind began blowing in one direction, pushing me foward so I just walked. I thought I may have been overreacting until I followed the wind's direction directly to my friend's house who just arrived there in her car and saw me the same moment I was approaching her house. I don't know what I just experienced but aparently she was let off early that day, by coicedence. Again, I may just be over exadurating (spl?) but really, the sudden bursts of wind tied in exactly the same moment I would say something or decide to move in another direction.

I also would like to keep this thread open for any other experiences involving mystical folk.

I don't go looking for any kind of 'Mystical Creatures' since most of them come to me, or are to scared to speak to me, or seek me out.

I do not believe that they exist, i KNOW they exsit. Once you have had a 4 hour conversation with a Draconian, you tend to 'believe' they exist...

I do recall a time I was once in a car with my mother and I thought I was just being dillusional when I think about it...but...it was fantastic. I was looking outside my window and there was this yellow glowing jet of faint light that was whizing at high speeds beside my car. i wanted to bring this up since i saw that same type of faint flying jet of light two days ago while i was in a car early in the morning only the light dispersed into several smaller ones that took off in different spiralling directions. it was absolutely stunning but i am not sure if what i saw was really what i saw.

can they be invisible to some people?

finally i want to ask...are mystical creatures part of the wiccan way? is it part of the belief? is it even mentioned in any of the reedes or normally used spells? I very interested in learning about more since it seems that most Wiccans on this board are speaking so highly about them. Is this mere coicedence, do enlightened 'wiccans' attract these beings, or is it something that everyone is able to feel/see but it takes that step of believing that what you see is true to make you understand they are real? i really would like opinions and answers to these questions from anyone who posts, please. This is something of great interest for me.

I = a fae magnet...Even in the middle of a city i find ((More like they find me...)) the few fae that survive, and even a few that thrive ((gremlins..My Nastly lil friends XD)) I know they exist, I Know They play with those apart of the mortal coil, I know there looking out for us in there own way. They exist and im Utterly and Unbeliveably glad to see im not the only one who believes, i was becomming worried.
and not only are they invisable to Some, They are Invisable to nearly all. They Hide They fear Our fear...if that makes sence to anyone else, Ive learn so much from and about them since i walked away from my training, you should open your ears and mind ((becareful though not all are as kind as they seem)). They'll show you things that are apart of this world you would have never seen, Nor That By modern human standers You should, But trend lightly there are reasons humans wandered so far from there teachings

Ive also dealt with gnomes, Pixies, and many other tricksters.
But thats because i enjoy there pranks, and its ture everyone deals with diffrent kinds though many deal with the same half breeds

Well despite the fact that it is never clearly mentioned I feel it is safe to assume my answer on the poll. The fact that 9 people have voted yes to actually believing/EVEN KNOWING that they exist while absolutely no one has even voted a rebuttle is a testiment to either how receptive Wiccans are to these naturally hidden creatures or how Wicca does indirectly involve these creatures.

Another thing I would like to point out is that almost every culture in the world, seperated by land or sea, have all documented some form of creature similar to man in one way or another. Faeries are among the most popular which run up and down Ireland and have stories of similar beings in India and China regions.

Even Dragons, the most amazing of these "mythical" creatures seems to be everywhere from China, Japan, and Korea to places like Great Britian, France, and even more eastern European countries.

I'd like people to list a few of these creatures and their personal descriptions of them please. No online resources or book descriptions, I want your honest opinions so we can compare them.

I'm not really sure what I saw...it was about a year ago but the image is stuck in my head...

A year ago I was riding a bus down the coast of Lake Huron going to Ohio. This was around 6 in the morning just as the sun was coming up, but as I looked out, I saw this creature skimming along the top of the water. At first, I thought it was someone on a jetskii but the thing came closer and I noticed it was moving like a snake.

The thing had to be about four feet long if I could see it from twenty feet from the shore, but the thing that stuck out most to me was it's head. It was small but I could see two curling horns. so a snake with horns. I don't know what it was but it was going the same pace with the bus. No one else saw it. Everyone was asleep besides a few people on the other side and up front...

Has anyone heard of a creature like that? I dont know what it was, but I believe it's real more then anything, event hough I had never told anyone about it.
