It's an uber rare comic from '94 which gives my second favorite comic book character, Harley Quinn, her back story.
The comic was a one shot and won an award or two and a lot of praise from some nerdy people like Frank Miller and Mark Hamill (THE voice of the Joker and Luke Skywalker himself...)
Normally this comic sells from any where to $35.00 to a whopping $120.00 and mostly it's under the "Good Condition".
I'm new to the comic business and I try to avoid uber rare things because I think they're cheap and it's only a fools dream to own it but, seeing as how this comic inspired my favorite episode of the Batman: TAS, I thought I'd save some money to buy it.
Today I was going through Ebay and I saw that the comic was up for bid and decided to watch it.
I only had thirty three bucks but I decided to go for it...
So just a couple of minutes ago, when there was only two minutes left on the item I put up twenty five bucks, thinking I wouldn't win.
The guy who I was bidding against, at the last thirty seconds, put up a dollar more than me.
I thought, "OH NO!", and, on the last five seconds of bidding, put fifty cents more than he did, and won the item.
So instead of waiting four more weeks to buy the "Good Condition" comic book issue I got the comic today in "Near MINT" condition for about half the price.
Awesome.
BTW, my signature is a cropped image from the comic.
