The name that you are given by your parents.. do you hate it and wished it was something else. Or do you like it. Wonders.. hmm well come on say it. ninja Me? I don't hate or like my name..But it's simple, 'vicky'. Plain eh?

I think my name is Ok. for a Korean, my name may sound like a guy's..xp

But eh...I think it's fine.
I use an English name outside of Korea so...haha

Hmm well...I think it's more because non-korean speakers usually have a hard time pronouncing my name right. It can sound like 'sock-yung' instead of 'seok-young' lol.
It depends on who's calling me, I feel more comfortable when other Koreans call me by my Korean name, it sounds more..right. If my friends here could pronounce my Korean name right, I wouldn't have any problems. But since they make my name sound like a pair of 'sock's, I prefer to be called Jenny.

I like Both my Korean and English name. My korean name was given to my grandmother who i loved dearly(May she rest in peace) gave it to me and my english name it's really common but i like it cause my parent both chose it together.

Well, if anyone doesn't know my name yet, its Cheska! whee
But somehow, people have a hard time pronouncing it! gonk
I mean, is it really that hard?!?! eek
Here are the list of names other people have called me:
Chelsea (my 6th grade science teacher went the whole year calling me that! I told her it was Cheska, but she always forgot!) sweatdrop
Jessica confused
Chessica neutral
Francesca (when I tell people my name is Cheska, they assume its short for Francesca) -_-
Franny (when people do think its Francesca, somehow they decided to call me Franny) rolleyes

well the truth is...I tell everyone like my relatives, teachers, friends and family that my name is vicky...when My legal name.. is in Laos which is..Vimala People have problems pronouncing it. stare My grandpa gave me that name...and sadly he passed away 2 years ago. cry ((r.i.p.))
People pronounce it "Vim-mall-la"... i hate it when i hear people say it that way.
It's pronounced "Vim-ma-la ....might not seem much of a difference. but it is.

My name is Grace and I despise it soooooooooooooo much!
Why?
Because my stupid white grandmother picked it out instead of letting my mother choose my name. Luckily my mother managed to choose my middled name, Lana. She derived it from part of her name, Jong Lan.
But if you ask me, I'd rather have my mother's name. Seeing as how everyone called me Jong Lan Jr. when I was little. lol
My mom has changed the way she spells her name though seeing as how everyone in the states can't spell it correctly. They always spelled her named Chong Ran. My mother finally gave up on Americans spelling her name right and just goes with it. Poor mom. And poor me with my stupid god forsaked ugly name.

My mom gave me a Korean name, Yeppuni, which kind of bothers me because it's such a strange name. (Usually they have three-part names.)
My full Korean name for those of you with Korean IMEs:
김예뿐이
Otherwise I'm Jaime. Spelled that way, not Jamie or Jaimie (god, when people don't know where to put the i, they just kind of put it in both places and that does not work for me.)
It's an okay name. I like it cause it's different and it's 'love' in French, but it's also kind of weird.
