3nodding Yes indeed, after long hours of waiting.. *will quite literally speed from school to the nearest bookstore* (there's not too much of a fine for doing 50 in a 20 mile road...)
On another note, the title makes perfect sense since "penultimate" means next to last..

Here's something I noticed, you probably have too.
Denouement: The final resolution or clarification of a dramatic or narrative plot.

I guess I'm the only one REALLY, REALLY excited about the book, then!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean, I've been counting down the days for a looooong time! And for some odd reason, I'm re-reading the 1st book. I almost cried when I re-read the Klaus got slapped. I was really sad. No.....maybe I'm just pathetic.
Book I've read so far: 1, 2, 3, a few pages into 4, 5, and 11. (About to be 12!!!)
My mom and I are going to go get the book tomight! Whee! And then I'm gonna tell eveyone that I have it! Lol, okay. I think it's time for me to shut up now.
(WAS I the only sad person when Klaus got struck? sweatdrop )

Mr. MooCow The book's not out yet here. Anyway, what is the pic at the end of the book? the pic is: the front view of a ship with count olaf and the baudelaire orphans, who are rowing away from town w/ the people turners (makes more sense when you read the book) and a few pages after that there is a napkin w/ a ship on it that says "To my kind editor, The end is near. With all due respect, Lemony Snicket"

Yay I got it! I won't be reading it untill I finish re-reading, but I bet it's going to be great! By the way, Kit Snicket looks a little odd, but I think shes in disguise.

I'm on Chapter 7, and I'm like 90% sure I know who the "J.S." is.
I also picked up a copy of the Unauthorized Autobiography while I was there, cause I haven't read it yet, and I'll need that when I'm done with TPP.
I have learned, that from now on, whenever I see a word I don't recognize, even back when it was Sunny's baby talk, I look it up. Some of his titles or names are little inside jokes on definitions. I love that about this series.
