Yvv was on one of his usual strolls through the forest, pausing by a fallen log to hop on top of it and strut around showing off his balance. Just as he was about to finish walk on two paws on it and do a flip to land back on the ground his paw slipped on the wood and he toppled off the log to land on his bum. Shaking the splinters from his tail he quickly looked around to see if anyone had been watching his little performance and fall.

Jinx had just been walking by when she saw the little fall. She smiled and walked over to the male, maybe he was like her? "Are you alright?" She asked him. "I'm Jinx and I know how that feels." This caused her to giggle a little. She wasn't joking.

Yvv felt his ears heat a little when he noticed the tall anthro walking towards him. Grinning at her words he wiggled his bruised tail, "Fit as a fiddle, I'm Yvv." He had never seen an anthro, nor a regalur Namir with as many vibrant colors as Jinx, causing him to c**k his head to the side as he looked at her. "Oh, uh, you're very colorful, Brinx," he said when he realized he was staring. He didn't notice that he messed up her name; though he should have expected to and apologized in advance, since he did that a lot. But with as few Namrah he had met so far the thought hadn't occured to him to do so.

Jinx smiled. "Thanks. I guess I am sorta a rainbow on a dark night. Nice to meet you Yvv and it's Jinx." She giggled at that. It wasn't hard to get her name right, but he might have not heard her well. She didn't think it was too much of a problem or anything.

"Uh, Jrinx," he repeated, blinking. For some reason he liked to put 'r's in where there were none. Not as if he really noticed at all, though his nose scrunched as he thought about the name he heard and the name he said.

Jinx chuckled a little as she sat down on the log that Yvv had fell from earlier. "That's close enough. I like it. Maybe if my name wasn't Jinx I wouldn't be such a jinx." She chuckled more at herself before looking back at Yvv. "So, what are you doing out here?" Jinx was out jut wandering like she always seemed to be doing.

Yvv hopped up on the log as well, "Why would you be a jinx?" She certainly didn't look like one, but then, Yvv hadn't really met a jinx before so he didn't really know what they looked like. "I'm just out for a stroll," he replied with a lopsided grin, "And a fall or two." Debating whether or not he should try his handstand trick again, Yvv sat on his haunches and looked over at 'Jrinx'.

Jinx thought that over for a moment. It was a very good question. "Well, I guess I fall a lot...all the time. I get in more accidents that one should. Maybe I'm just not a good anthro." Jinx had thought about that before. Maybe she was meant to have four legs and not two. That would be better balance or at least a shorter fall.

Yvv frowned, "You sure you just haven't had enough practice on two legs?" There were Namrah who had gone from four legs to two and found the change a little difficult to get used to, maybe 'Jrinx' was the same way? He decided against practicing his handstand, not wanting to be a show-off to someone who had trouble balancing upright, anthro or no. "I could help you practice if you want!" he said, eager to help someone in improving their physical abilities.

Jinx nodded. "That is a wonderful idea only I was never on four legs. I have always been an anthro." This was the first time she had really thought about the differences between two and four legs.
She the looked back at Yvv. "Really? Sure...what do you think?" Jinx stood back up and put out her arms. It looked like she was showing of a new outfit or something.

"You never had four legs?" Yvv asked, pondering a little, "Maybe that's the reason you can't on two legs! You have to learn four legs, first!" He looked up to see Jinx struting about with her arms out, cocking his head to the side and watching her. "That's not bad, but the arms are a little distracting," he commented, blinking.
His ears turned slightly pinker and he stood on the log to try and make that sound better, "I mean, they might be distracting for the way you keep your balance, if you always walk with your arms out you might find it hard not to walk with them out, not that there's anything bad about walking wuth your arms out, I mean-" He had sat up on his back paws to try and hold out his front paws in an effort to explain, holding them a little too far forward until he fell off the log.

JInx nodded as she put her arms down. She wasn't aware that she did walk with her arms out. That did make sense now that she thought about it. She then tried to walk with her arms at her side when she saw Yvv fall. "Are you okay?" She didn't think she'd be the one saying that.

Yvv sat up quickly and nodded, "I meant to do that..." He was half-joking, knowing she probably wouldn't believe that excuse, and he wouldn't want to lie like that to someone who would believe it. "Does having your arms down help at all?" he asked, trying to change the subject.
Actually, he had not seen many anthros, but the ones he did see usually fascinated him. It would be a nice little challenge to try and walk on two legs, then to try and iceskate on two legs. He let his thoughts trail off. Maybe someday he might be able to become an anthro, but he didn't that happening anytime soon. Oh well, that gave him more time to practice not slipping on things at the ends of his little acts.

Jinx thought about that. "Yeah, I guess it does help a little. Still, you never know." She walked again and it was too long before she tripped over something. The something being more then likely nothing at all. "It was nice while it lasted!" She chuckled as she sat up and looked to Yvv.

He was going to ask 'are you okay?' but her chuckle quickly abated his worry. "If you keep practicing your bound to get better," he offered with a smile before adding his laugh to her chuckle.
