Ukoo hadn't had a dream vision for a long long time. She lay in her bed of ferns-the cubs in their normal hidden glen while they grew and slept. Ukoo had left them in their safe haven and went off to sleep on her own for a bit-being around her children was rather hard to do considering she was a single mother. She wondered if she should have asked that male to stay and be apart of her life-but she felt nothing for him at all. She was certain that her cubs would have wonderful father figures in the pride-and would be raised well by all.
She had fallen asleep with these thoughts wrapped around her head. She fell quickly into a deep sleep-one she would only wake from if disturbed or when her dream was done showing her. It was of a darker colored child-a cousin freshly born into the world. He was destined for greatness-but would turn this power into evil and chaos. HE would grow and cause many changes in the family and his future-and would eventually be the end of some. She twitched and murmmered in her sleep-her toes and whiskers twitching. "n-no..."

An adolscent male was walking trough unknown lands. He had left his home for some exploring since he tought he was big enough to do things by himself but he was lost. Mihai sat down and sighed heavily...how can he lose a desert? how stupid was he it was impossible to get lost from a big sand box.
The male looked out over the area he was in now but he had never been here before. His green eyes looked for something familiar but he couldn't spot anything.
The male had a very mild sand tone colored fur, white mane, white and pink markings. He was a nice mix from his parents. But his colors couldn't help him now. He sighed again and twiched his tail...
" What should i do... "

Ukoo's nose hit a scent she wasn't familiar with. She wiggled in her sleep, her mind clicking away the image of the grey lion cub and replacing it with someone who was pale and lovely. Not like King Moses but... still very pale in comparison. She was not afraid of this lion and was comforted, her sleeping calm and quiet. She smiled in her sleep, for he was not something to fear. Even in her fern nest, she was warm and comforted so much that she stretched and felt good.
She woke from her dream slowly, her red eyes openeing slowy to the world of her jungle and her darkness. She sat up, yawning slowly. She stretched her front paws; her eyes focusing slowly on ther surrounding until-actually very close to her; was the very pale male she saw in her dreams just moments ago. She knew she blended in well with the shadows and darkness-and would probably scare him more than he scared her. She smiled.
"Do about what?" She asked calmly. To him, she must seem around her age. She was small, the runt of her siblings and sickly as a child. Now, she was a bit small; even for being a mother.

Mihai almost jumped from the place he was currently sitting at. Who was talking to him? was there someone here? Mihai looked around confusley and his eyes got stuck on something that might be a lion or atleast a creature that looked like one. He was not sure tough it was hard to see in the darkness. The make cleared his troat..
" Umm well it looks like i have no idea where i am.. "
He had no problem telling a stranger about his problems. Well he was sure he would find his way back soon but at the moment it felt like it would take a little bit longer then he tought.
" I was out wandering but it seems like i lost my way... "
He laughed and tried to focus his eyes on the creature in the dark.
" I am suck a fool.. "

Ukoo was one of the friendliest creatures in this pride-being she was born a blood drinker as the others; but was simply a pawn to them. She was sort of tickled to be making him nervous but knew that it was not very nice; so she stood up and walked out into some light, which was almost absent here anyway. She gave a nervous glance side to side-it was no doubt if he was found here he'd get chased away or something. She saw nothing and could not hear anyone of her pride around-so she grew calm again. She knew that her pelt was perfectly shadowed and such, just her blood red eyes shown half the time. "You are in the Mwana-a'Lela Lands... home of the drinkers of blood and kin to the night. "
She was not suprised by his light pelt. Her dreams showed her glimpses of things and half the time meant nothing.
She kept her head slightly turned to the side so that har scarred neck didn't show directly. "I am Ukoo; bloodbinder to the lions here." She said, her eye soft. "I am sorry to hear you are lost. Perhaps I can give you directions... though I know none. " Which was true-she didn't know anything outside her pride; she lost all memory of it. Perhaps it was her seeress powers that made her lose what might mean something to her. "Fool; no. Just a lost soul."

Mihai looked at the lioness when she came out from her sleeping place. She looked pretty friendly to him but Mihai was a little bit naive sometimes he didn't know of any lions that drank blood or something even close to that..
" Drinkers of blood? that is something i never heard before "
The male tilted her head to the side and looked at the female but she didn't look very dangerous.
" Oh i am Mihai nice to meet you Ukoo "
The adolescent male wagged his tail and gave her a big soft smile he was glad with any help if the female could help him of course.
" Oh so you might not be able to help me then.. "

Ukoo had never met someone outside the pride before really-and she was surprised that he wasn't much different than everyone else. SHe was actually intrigued by him and his pale pinkness-a color she wasn't used to. However she did stop smiling at his words. "Yes... It is not common really... just this pride." She said simply, looking around again nervously.
"Mihai... that is an unusual name but-it suits you well!" She said with a smile now. She rather liked unusual names, naming all her children such. "I am sorry to say... no... I don't know much outside my home.. I am sheltered..." She said, her crimson eyes looking down. "I apologize for being so unuseful.

Mihai didn't meet many either he hadn't been talking much with many other creatures on his travel either. He wasn't really shy he just hadn't found anyone to talk to. Most smaller animals where afraid of him since he was a lion.
" Hmmm i see...ah well i never met anyone with a name like yours either but it suits you "
He said and gave the female a smile. He guessed his problems would solve later maybe not this second but that was ok atleast he had someone to talk to.
" It's ok~~ i be fine i guess i find my way out sometime. And why are you shelterd? wouldn't it be fun to go somewhere else sometimes? "
He knew that prides did bound some lions ok most lions but some still had the freedom to go where they wanted.

Ukoo felt a bit of admiration towards her name. A 'u' name-like her grandfathers. She looked down at her paws. "I was named Ukoo because it means dirty, and my grandparents originated from the swamps-but were banished at some point... but they still keep up with the names that relate to their old home." She looked down to her olive gloved paws, flexing her toes. She wondered what it was like for her grandparents, being forced from their homes. Her mother, Kinamasi would not be deemed unworthy because their banishment happened with the second liter of cubs-not the first.
"I am not permitted to leave really..." She said softly, her red eyes looking downward at the ground. "You see... here... I am a slave... a blood binder. I was a gift to the king when I was just a child... and now this is my home." She said, turning her head slowly to expose her throat-the scar that marked her a binder. "I don't even remember what it looks like outside... and besides-I can't leave. I-" She paused. She didn't know why it was a bit tough to admit her children existed. "-I can't leave my children... for they have no father..."
She looked a bit forlorn for a moment. Every time she thought about such things-not seeing her family again-not being able to remember her mothers voice or her grandmothers whispers... sometimes really dug into her soul

The young male got surprised when he heard her words...dirty? you you really name someone that? earth would have been fine or even ground but not dirt. The male raised a browe and flicked his tail he couldn't really understand..
" Hmm i can't really tell anyone how to live their lives but anyone can choose how to live...their own way.. "
Atleast he belived that. A pride was sometimes very important specially for a female but a life like that...being a slave? no he tought Ukoo was better without it. But he had always been a free spirit and came and went as he wished he probably couldn't understand her reasons or bands.
" Oh babies? you have babies?... "
Of course she couldn't leave then they where probably to small to take care of themselves at the moment he would probably see that as a reason to stay atleast for a while if he was where she was now.
" I guess you are right...but my father grow up without his parents and he is just fine~~ "
He smiled and wanted to show her that lions could turn out ok anyway without parents.

Ukoo listened to his words and just sort of kept looking ahead of her... She nodded slowly. "I have three children. Two boys and one girl... they all look like me-except for the little girl... she has white on her... from the father.." She looked over at the male and smiled sheepsihly. "But I suppose it was bound to happen-genetics an' all..."
She looked to him and looked deep in thought. "Really? So they should be okay?" She looked a bit more relaxed at his words. She smiled for a moment. "I sort of grew up without my parents too. I was stolen at a very young age... when I was just a cub... " She lifted her head and recalled when Shaitani had taken her. "It was my eyes... she liked my eyes."
She reached up and rubbed a paw over one crimson orb. "Deep red like blood.

Mihai nodded having babies sounded cute but Mihai didn't really have any idea how much work it could be. He didn't have any siblings growing up so he was maybe a little bit spoiled.
" Oh they sound cute i am sure they will grow up being both wise and beautiful because of you "
Mihai nodded again he was positive of that. Then the male listend to Ukoo's words...was she stolen? why would someone steal someone else cub? that was just stupid but as a cub what could you do?
Then he smiled and looked at her eyes...they where indeed beautiful but they didn't reminded him of blood more like a red flower he had seen growing in the desert lands where he came from.
" Blood? no to me they look like a red desert flower growing in my home "

She was sure that he had just given her a compliment. She did think of herself as a good mother, even though she didn't really remember being raised by her mother-since she was taken so young. She had to learn her own way of being a mother. She ducked her head and blushed slightly, nodding. "Yes. I hope so." She murmured.
"Well... my eyes are part of the reason why. I think the gods fortold it... because I-well..." She looked around cautiously. "I dreamt of it before it happened. Dreamnt of a pale male-and he was my future... but not as a mate-but as my king." She said softly, not with a hint of regret or fear but-not happy. "The desert! I've never seen a desert before... what's it like?

Mihai wasn't really sure himself that he just gave her a compliment since sometimes he was a little bit to naive sometimes just like his father. Then he male bent his head closer towards the female to take a better look at the females eyes...they where indeed beautiful.
" I am sure you are doing a great job... "
Oh a pale male as her king? he couldn't really figure out what those words ment exactly but he hoped it was a good thing.
" Well the desert is hot, a lot of sand and barley nothing grows there but my family lives close to something called an oasis it's a small paradise with a lot of water, green plants and beautiful flowers~~ "

She smiled and gave her head a little bit of a bucking motion. She liked to think she was doing well enough for her little ones. She was a proud and caring mother as far as she was concerned. She chuckled. "They are well behaved children I may say... not much trouble for me!" She said softly, her crimson eyes gazing into the distance where they lay again.
"Hot... sand... like dry soil, right?" She asked, looking at him curiously. "Sounds beautiful! Though I like the jungle here... it gives me room to hide... room to keep secret and safe. I am fond of this place... even if I was not intended to live here at first. It is my home now."
