21-01-2009 - FKT wins Mari in the 2009 Winter event, and starts setting up a journal.

Notable Features: Fins for ears, gills, pale skin, pupil-less eyes
Likes: the ocean, soft music, bitter tasting foods
Dislikes: filth, bright lights, foods with sticky textures
Abilities: Water-Breathing, Able to hear the dead and talk to fish (non-mammalian marine animals)
Weaknesses: Over-exposure to sunlight and/or heat
Personality: Mari is a quiet child, low-maintenance and easy to please. That doesn't mean she'll take any of your crap, though: underneath her meek disposition is a no-nonsense attitude, with two scaly fists to back it up if need be. She's as a crossroads with her maturity: at times, childish antics bore her and even irritate her, and yet she'll sometimes take the greatest enjoyment in the tiniest of things. She's somewhat accepted that the stories about Dutchmen were really just stories, but if you baited her enough, she could lapse to her old, paranoid ways.
