today. we saw history in the making...bigtime history..

as we saw the 44th president...the first ever african-american president become sworn into the biggest job in all the land..

Today i feel like alot of the s**t i've been talking about for the last 2 years on cd's (take away the wicket s**t and u got more politics) has finnaly been heard. i got a big smile on my face for this...the most historical day in american history..

YEAH!!!!! I was at work today and had to deal with soo many a-holes saying crap like "He'll get shot today" I just wanted to scream. I live in a red state and proudly voted for Obama....

I'm not a change-freak.
Everyone think the world will be a completely different place because there is someone new in office.
Well, it won't. Maybe something new here or there.
But this place won't be a utopia. Ever.

And yeah, I am just sick of people saying "first BLACK American President" it's all we heard when he was being elected and yes I know it's a big leap, but it's been said millions of times over again...yes, he's black, yes he's american, yes he won, stop saying that! I hate NPR news, I just wanted to hear his speech....it's all they could say when talking about Obama. I think he should be remembered for something other than his background. If they were saying other things I wouldn't be so annoyed but oh well. And I agree with you Innocently...I'm already sick of hearing about it.

I just hope he isn't able to go through with the whole world wide health care because instead of creating jobs for this little recession he's going to destroy more...with that said...I am done with politics lol and now need to go work in the ceramics room razz

i'm gonna have to totally agree with that,
it's gonna take a lot more then a black president to make the US a different and/or better place.
slight changes might take place, but even obama himself has mentioned most of the changes he's making won't take much effect for 4+ years.
