The festival was in full swing. Stalls selling various types of plum-based goodies, games offering dinky-yet-adorable prizes. In the center of the festivities, dancers performed for the amazed crowds. It seemed like there was no way one could possibly be unhappy in such a jovial atmosphere.
Well, there was atleast one person not having much fun. 'Zuba had been dragged along with the rest of the family, much to her chagrin. Luckily, she'd been allowed to go off on her own. The bad news was that there were so MANY people. There was too much movement, too much sound; the poor girl felt over-stimulated. She just stood off to the side, gripping her sleeve and looking around. She must have looked lost, but to be honest, she just didn't know what to do in a crowd-situation. Even if this wasn't much of a crowd, it was more than she was used to.

Tykier, Eve, and her boyfriend, Stephen, walked into the plum blossom fair. They looked at all the neat items the venders were selling.
Tykier was smiling because the plum blossoms looked very beautiful, and he was very happy to come here... But then, he saw a unusual person. A Spawn! He told Eve that he was going to find a place to sit, and walked over to the dual-colored spawn, "Hello..!" He waved.

It took a moment for 'Zuba's brain to register that the odd-looking cyclops was talking to her. She looked up at him, blinking once before speaking. "'Lo..." she said softly, letting go of her sleeve to wave at the boy a couple of times. She looked at his arms a moment, her face still blank. "Split too." she said simply, voicing her observation before holding her hand out. "I'm Azubahiel....'Zuba. You?"

Tykier laughed as he heard her say that he was split colored, "No, I'm not really split, the red skin is only on my left arm..." He said as he showed his arm"My name's Tykier, but you may call me Ty." Ty raised his hand to shake 'Zuba's hand. "It's very nice to meet you..."

'Zuba shook head; she didn't mean that kind of split. "Split....angel and demon." she explained, motioning to the two different arms with her free hand. She offered a faint smile, shaking his hand. "Nice to meet, Ty." she said, her tone sounding a bit distracted.

"Oh..!" Ty felt stupid. "Yes, I am part angel and demon... I'm Wrath and Abstinence, what about you..?" He let go of 'Zuba's hand.

She'd meant how his arms were different, but decided to let it go. "Envy and Humility." she replied, letting her hand drop to her side. "What's Abstinence?" she asked, not sure what the word meant.

"It's the ability to restrain one's self from sexual intercourse, alcohol or food." Tykier then thought that she might not get what he just said so he tried to explain it a little more easily, "It means I don't have to eat, or drink, and I don't have to do IT..." He was embarrassed from talking about the 's' word. No, the OTHER 's' word..!

'Zuba nodded, understanding. "Self-restraint." she said simply, summing it up into two words. She looked a bit confused, though...why did he look so embarassed? "Thanks for explaining." she added, almost as an afterthought. She'd almost forgotten.

He smiled, "No problem..!" Ty scratched the back of his head. "So, how do you like the plum blossoms..?"
By this point in time, Eve and Stephen came back
"So, Tykier, are you making a new friend..?"
"She looks cute... Aren't you going to kiss her..?"
"Dad!!!" He then went bright red.

'Zuba looked up at the plum blossoms, as if seeing them for the first time. "Are pretty." she said softly, catching one as it fell from one of the trees. "Look fragile..." She blinked, looking up at the adults, figuring they were his parents. "Not cute..." she said, shrugging. She didn't understand the kissing question; why would anyone want to kiss her, let along someone who'd she'd only just met. Adults were weird sometimes.

Ty laughed a bit, "Sorry, my Dad's... Kinda weird... But seriously, you're not that weird. Look at me for instance..! I have winged arms, feathered ears, and a rib outside my body..! And hey, maybe you'll find a guy who'll like you..! You'll never know!!!" He stated the truth with his own eye. If she didn't believe him, then she'll just have to wait and see for herself.

'Zuba shrugged. "Normal enough." she said, motioning to him. After all, he was MUCH more normal than she was, as far as she was concerned. She just listened to the other part, which received another shrug as well. She didn't think much about dating, so it wasn't a high priority for her. "Father seems normal." she offered. Then again, she didn't have much experience with 'dads', other than Adhara's father, Noah, and Vincent's father, Ben.

"Well... You don't understand how NOT normal he can be," Ty laughed, and continued, "I'm not normal because I am basically a cyclops with winged arms... It's not that normal to only have one eye."

'Zuba shrugged. "Normal to me." she said, offering a faint smile. "Not weird at all....can fly?" She changed the subject, motioning two his winged arms. They didn't look capable of flight in her opinion, but she could be wrong.
