Tykier was anxiously waiting for the spawn that Eve set up a play date with. She told him that his name was Dion, and that Eve was going to be running errands, so he was alone. Ty was outside in the warm weather, at the playground.

Dion found this new meeting somewhat weird. He had never planned a meeting with another spawn before. Normally it happened by chance on one of Dion's outings with Zach or Emilie. None the less he was excited, this was new and Zach had given him a wiffle bat and ball to play with.
Emilie led Dion to the park though Dion knew where it was. He had been here before a couple times and had brought Aiko here not so long before. He was learning his way around and was pleased by it. This meant that soon he wouldn't have to be led around by Emilie or Zach despite how the two of them didn't like that idea. Dion's rings turned steadily around him as he tossed the wiffle ball into the air and caught it over and over again. They walked at an even pace before finally getting to the park.
Once inside the part Emilie let Dion off, she told him not to get into trouble and to have fun which Dion agreed to. Emilie always sat in the same spot in the play ground, beneath a large tree near the entrance. Dion could easily find her if anything happened, not that anything would.
Spawn children were pretty easy to find since they stood out like sore thumbs. Different and unique in every way, Dion was grateful for it. He didn't want to be looking for this hid for a long time, that would be boring. He trotted over to a taller-then-him boy with gray hair and wings on either arms. He stared at them for a moment, fascinated by how they weren't attached to his back like everyone else. "You're Tykier right?" He asked as he looked to the boy. he froze. He had one eye.
One eye. Not three like Duncan and Litural, not two like himself and Ebony. ONE! Dion stared for a moment.
"Nice eye." He said. He meant it as a complement.

Tykier smiled, "Yes, I am Tykier, and thank you... I guess..." Ty never got complements on his eye. He just thought everyone thought he was very weird because of it. He looked down at Dion, "So, are you Dion..?"

Dion frowned some in annoyance. He was getting tired of being short compared to other kids. Well, he was average height compared to other children his age but those that were older were always taller and Dion was getting tired of it. He hoped he got really tall when he got older, this way he wouldn't be looked down at by everyone.
"Yeah." Dion said. "I'm Dion." There was a pause, Dion held Tykier's gaze though he wasn't sure exactly what to say. He was still fascinated by his single purple eye but he wasn't sure what else to say about it. Dion's tail swayed impatiently behind him, how long was he going to have to stand here?
"Want to play wiffle ball?" Dion asked finally. He lifted the yellow plastic bat and white plastic ball so Tykier can see. He wondered if he was any good at it, it was the same thing as baseball only the bat and ball was plastic and flew further. Dion had grown fairly good at it, he wondered if Tykier would be decent competition.

Tykier smiled, "Sure..." He loved the game. It was almost like baseball, but the ball hurt a lot more(lolz)... "So, do you want to be up..?"

Dion grinned at him. So he did know how to play. His grin showed all his sharp teeth and was rather, well, creepy to say the least. "Sure." Dion said, he handed Tykier the ball before walking back a distance. He pulled the ring surrounding his upper body off and placed it on the ground. He gripped the handle of the wiffle bat and swung it once, getting used to it's light weight before readying himself.

Tykier wasn't really fazed by the sharp teeth. He knew some spawns with teeth like that. "Be ready!" Tykier warned Dion. He then took the stance of a ball catcher, and threw the wiffle ball as hard as he could.

Dion enjoyed Tykier's warn. he readied himself, spread his legs out a little further and held the bat at the ready. Tykier's throw was good, very good. He was surprised by it but caught himself. When the ball came into range his swung the bat, aiming for the ball and hitting it with a satisfying thwak. It didn't move very far out, it was a pop up so Dion caught it easily. He'd have asked to go again but he didn't. He was glad to have hit the ball but the fact that it was a pop up bothered him slightly. He had underestimated the pitch; he hit it too late for it to go very far but too early for it to fly past him. None the less he walked over to Tykier and handed him the wiffle bat. "Your go. Get ready." he gave him a warning of his own.

Tykier walked past Dion, and got into position. He hit the bat on the ground, and tightened his grip on it. He smirked. Dion wouldn't be able to beat him.

Dion smirked back. He took a similar stance like Tykier had and took a moment to aim well, right down the middle. Dion rolled his shoulders slightly as he pulled his arms back, kicked up his leg and threw the ball down the line. He hoped for a strike but he knew Tykier was better at baseball then he expected. He must have played before since he was better then everyone else Dion had played with...though that wasn't many. Besides, Dion wasn't the greatest at baseball. Sure he was good at it but there were people better then him and Tykier might be one of them. Dion's smirk grew with that thought. A little competition never hurt.

Tykier was surprised at Dion's arm strength. The ball went so fast, that it almost hit Ty in the eye!!! He quickly dodged it, and 'went over the deep end'. "HEY! YOU ALMOST HIT ME!!!"

Dion was surprised by how bad his aim was for that pitch. Dion underestimated his strength and almost injured Tykier because of it. "Sorry." Dion said as he jogged over to Tykier. Wow, he was angry. Dion frowned at him slightly, "Calm down. I didn't mean to hit you, you dodged it, every thing's okay." Dion said tilting his head slightly to the side and lifting his hand in a sarcastic manner. He walked past Tykier at that, moving to where the ball was and picking it up quickly. He threw it at Tykier, annoyed that he had yelled at him and assumed that he had aimed for his eye on purpose. "Your go." He said. Still, an accident was an accident and Dion still wanted to play.

Tykier breathed in and out, trying to calm down, "I'm sorry about my outburst... It's just that my Wrath side is dominant, I sometimes can't control it..." As Tykier caught the ball, he inhaled and exhaled, letting all his anger let go... He threw the ball, but not that hard.

Dion probably could have guessed that since Tykier had one red arm wing and those rib cage bones..or whatever they were. Dion wasn't really sure what those were, they were pretty cool. "So that explains the single eye then? I always thought wrath kids had three eyes." Dion said as he swung at the ball. The yellow plastic bat hit it with a thunk and it whipped through the air and across the park. He watched it for a moment, not really wanting it to go that far since one of them would have to get it. Dion walked over to Tykier, the bat slung over his shoulder. He stared at his single purple eye again. Not all wrath kids had three eyes, Mara didn't. Lucky wrath kids, why was it that they either got three eyes or wings? Usually both! Dion was envious of them.
"I'll race you to the ball." Dion said with a smirk. Where exactly the ball had landed was a slight mystery since it had flown a good bit away. Still, if one of them had to go after it Dion decided to make a game out of it. "Whoever finds it gets to bat three times in a row. Or pitch, their decision." Dion said with a shrug of his shoulders before bolting off.
No count down. Dion had a habit of doing that.

Tykier laughed as Dion bolted after the ball, so he opened his wings, and lifted up into the air, diving at the ball. "Ha ha," he playfully laughed.
