Takes place nighttime near a waterhole by southland/prideland border
--- It was night, dark gray clouds clashed through the skys, covering the the bright stars. Days ago, Denahi had ran from his rogue parents wandering straight towards the pridelands. It was there, he met Rehani, a as close to a friend the charcoal male would probably ever get.
He still layed near the waterhole, in which he had tried to attack the warthog, but failed miserable. "Blah." He growled, splashing the water. Where was everyone?

The sickly little cub's ears flicked as he heard the splash of water. He was a crimson color, with a cream belly and crimson eyes. The tuft of his tail was black, his mane would be the same color one day. He was small for his age, and thin. He was actually quite pathetic to look at, really.
But he heard the splash, and was situated sort of around the waterhole. To the side, if you will. His tail flicked and fur began to stand on edge, he'd growl if he wasn't sure that he'd have a coughing fit. He began to edge around the watering hole, through the grass. His eyes were narrowed, and he thought that this was still pride land. He'd never been explained about the boarder.

The sounds of someone was near. Denahi jumped to his feet, eyes narrowing as the gazed behind him, looking for the bearer of the noise. "Who goes there," Denahi growled, mug holding a snarl. Oh yes, the cub was not a people person, that was for sure.
Blue eyes watched as the red form of Uumi neared.

Uumi's eyes landed on the mostly black pelted cub, and quickly locked onto those blue eyes. He'd seen such blue eyes once, he loathed those blue eyes. "You're talking as though you own the place.." Was his answer, a slight growl in his voice. But it wasn't held long, he hated how it irritated his throat. His tail flicked slightly, he was not a people-person either. In fact.. he was very much a spoiled brat.

It seemed liek both of them were, didn't it?
Denahi smirked. "Don't you know where you are, boy." He sneered, ears pinning back. "This is the southlands. This is /my/ territory." He smirked wickedly. "You best be praising me for not attacking you for stepping your puny little self on here." He growled, fur standing on his neck.

He snorted, rolling his eyes as he came closer. "Southlands, is it? Do all of you have icey blue eyes?" It was a stupid question, really. But he needed to know. "And you are a fool, and mistaken. This is still the pridelands. And you should be glad you have not been torn apart by the lions patrolling." He didn't exactly know if there were lions patrolling.. but he couldn't make threts like 'ill beat you up' because.. well.. look at him! He couldn't beat up a mouse.
"And who are you calling boy, low-life?" He sneered slightly. He was no boy! Or just as much as the other, anyhow.

Smirk. "You don't get out much do you /boy/." He wondered what the other had meant by the 'do all of you have icy blue eyes' remark. Not that he knew of. Only his sister, himself and mother had the piercing eyes that glowed in the night. "This ain't the pridelands. Its the borders. Beyond the waterhole is /your/ lands, before it is mine." He sneered again, advancing on the smaller cub. "Heh, no lion could tear me apart. You should see what I already did to Ta'ziyan and Tamu." He stopped, watching the reaction of the other cub.

He sneered lightly, frowning. "So there for it 'ain't /your/ lands' either, low-life." He hissed softly, tottering back a few steps as the other advanced. He arched a brow, head tilting. "Seeing as I know neither I do not care, brag all you want. The lions of the pride are much greater in number than you and a lot bigger, im sure they could do damage." He smirked.

"Mm I'm sure," He replied sarcastically, pausing in movement. "I'd like to see them try." He grinned, eyes narrowing slightly. "What? Scared?" He asked, watching the other back away. "Is the wittle pridelander going to run off to his home and to the 'protection' of others now?" A toothy smirk flashed. "Thats the joys of roguelife, we can stand up for ourselves. Unlike /some/" He emphasized that some greatly.

His eyes flashed, and that hot anger that would be easy to turn on as a cub.. well, had been turned on. "I am not scared. But unlike you, being a moron, I know who and what could beat me. I am not going to spew lines about how brave I am. You will make a fool or yourself one day, when you are beaten. And I hope I am there to watch, and laugh."
He shifted, eyes narrowing. "You disgusting rogues should stay away from, and off of, pride lands." Oh these pushy little crapheads. He and Syeira both.

He did not just call him a moron. Oh boy.
Denahi growled, eyes mimicking the flash Uumi's did. With a rage snarl, he stalked up the red pelted Pridelander. He allowed his claws to unsheath, the true anger emerging. "I don't think you will live long enough to see that," He spoke menacingly. "Us /disgusting/ rogues will one day overpower the pridelands, killing or taking slaves those who reside in it."

Oh he'd gotten himself in a tough spot now! He swallowed and let his own claws unsheath, but he did not think they would do much good. "Oh, won't I though? Do you even have the guts to kill another? Some cold blooded murderer, are you? At this age? I pity your parents, they must be real ashamed." Oh boy, Uumi would just not knock it off, would he?
His tail flicked lightly. "The problem with that, low-life, is that none of you even have a leader. If no one leads the cause it will never get done, and if they're all simular to you, and from my experiences they are, than it still would not get done." He hissed, his sides heaving in and out. He was taking rather deep breaths. Oh and.. his experiences? He's only ever met one other pride lander.

The cub couldn't take anymore of this. With a raged growl, he swiped the claw paw across Uumi's face. "You should pity my parents. Because they were the ones who watched helplessly as I tore my brother to shreds." He spoke, sneering as his paw lowered to the ground.
"Who's to say we don't have a leader?" He growled again, anger rising more and more with each passing second.

As he saw the paw swipe at him alls he could do was shut his eyes tight. His head jerked as the claws came slashing across his face, under his left eye and right to the middle of his face. An angry and scared yowl came from his throat, but this brought him about coughing. His head bent over at this point, whole body shaking from the coughs, he backed up as fast as he could. He could feel a slippery, wet, cold encircling his foot. Crap, he'd backed toward the water.
Ripped his own brother to shreds? His coughing slowly died, and he was left staring at the ground, catching his breath. "God.. goddamn. Flesh and blood?" What a stupid b*****d. A sick, stupid b*****d. Uumi despised his brother, as well as two of his sisters. But he'd never rip any to shreds. Couldn't, in all reality. His tail lashed behind him and he slowly brought his head back up, crimson blood was hard to distinguish against his matching fur. It oozed down his cheek in a sickly, slow manner.
It would not be safe to stick around, not at all. But Uumi would not turn tail and flee. He was not some weak, pathetic coward. He would not be one! A low hiss entered his throat. "Anger problem?" Was all that he said, still taunting. Though he did not lash out with his usual taunts in return. He instead played the sarcassum card.

A smirk approached the maw. He had got him good, and look! Looks like someone has a problem? The smirk grew teeth, as the small canines flashed. Denahi was sure enjoying Uumi's reaction from teh swipe. And him back into the waterhole, priceless.
The ghastly blue eyes watched, listening to the other talk. "Flesh and Blood." He repeated in a maniacal voice, as if he were a mad scientist on a breakthrough experiment. "And oh what fun it was, too." Of course, ripping to shreds was sort of /stretching/ the truth a bit. But the other didn't need to know that now, did he.
The cub ignored the others question, grinning wildly. Anger problem? Maybe a little....
