We rarly go anywhere. When I was in the 8th grade my Tri-M group went to the meeting in Salt Lake City. We didn't perform or anything but it was amazing ._.
Last year we also went to the Sioux Falls Marching Competition. The judges there judged harder then our own states judging and we went against and saw bands from like the East side of the US and we are in the west so that was pretty awesome. We got 3rd in parade...and there were like 3 or 4 bands in the parade anyway haha. But we didn't make it to finals for field competition. Still awesome though eek

we went on our very first trip out of the state for inauguration this year. obviously if i said inauguration, u know where i went smile omg it was my first time seeing snow too (i'm from florida) and about half the band has never seen it either. in nc on our way back there was at LEAST 4 inches of snow!!! i was so happy lol smile oh and we tackled our band director and pelted him with snowballs lol. what made it funnier was it was about 3:00 AM and we were in front of a store so the band director could get coffee. omg that was probably the most fun i've ever had smile ... of course....i got sick lol i got mneumonia after and i'm still sick as a dog from that trip lol

My band went to Disney World the season before last, for the Orange Bowl (I wasn't in it, but I did watch all of the five seconds they were on TV).
Last season we went to Michigan, and missed our homecoming...><. Which wasn't that bad, 'cause we went to Ceder Point on the way back, and I won a giant Tails doll (from Sonic?) XD. I almost couldn't take him home, he was so big! But the Band moms are freakin awesome, and we fit him in the seat next to me.

i'm in a university band and we were lucky enough to go to Italy for a week and perform in St. Peters square after the papal new years blessing and then we marched out of the vatican city back into Rome which was super amazing. We also performed in a small town near Naples called Sorrento and that was alot of fun too.

Our band takes trips every year, with a big trip every four years. Luckily, I came in last year, so my senior year will be a big one. This year, though, we're going to Memphis.

I love band trips! They are so much fun! Hang with your friedns for multiple hours. Watching the couples sneak into chairs with each other. When the band moms saw that, HAND CHECKS! Any other bands have that? It got annyoing when the chaperones called them every like 5 min. and everyone had to put up thier hands, if you were to slow they would come back there and check you. It was funny though when my friends hung out with the older members and they got bf's and gf's out of it . . . Come to think of it that happened to me, but this my first year of hanging out with him. hehehe

Canada every four years. Six Flags in Vallejo, California for the end-of-the-year band trip. My favorite place during Winter Drumline season is Loomis, California. My favorite place during Marching Season is Santa Cruz, California.

we take a "big" trip every two years I don't know what it's going to be but it's been disney world a few years the reason I go "big" is because we are not that far from florida like a lot of you probably are so it's not that big to me rolleyes
they said we where going to Hawaii before but then they decided to not go for some reason
-_- if they go to Disney World I think I'm just going to try to get out of it
