Isis stretched out as she lay by a lake, a soft breeze blew about her hair while her long black body lay against the warm dirt. She had her head propped up on her arm as she gazed at the water, it was a rather beautiful and relaxing day and she was glad to be enjoying it in such a manner. She had one eye closed due to the bright shining sun and her coat was warm but not uncomfortably so, it seemed like today was going to be perfect.
The large elder yawned and extended her claws as she made another catlike stretch. Her eyes were drawn to the surface of the water watching the slow ripples created by the fish and insects, "what a lovely day," she murmured almost sleepily.

Teles was in her elf form because it was too hot for flying at the moment. She was playing with a red feather that was normally tucked behind her ear when she was in this form. Her short spiky green hair shifted in a light wind. She was heading towards a lake that she had passed earlier that day.
As she walked she started to sing a sweet sounding song that seemed to carry farther then it should on the wind. She wanted something interesting to happen today and she thought maybe she could help it along.

Isis smiled looking around for any small animals to watch, she loved the chitter chattering sound squirrels and birds made as they conversed. As the looked around her ears happened to catch the sound of a strange melody and she tilted her head as her eye lids drooped slightly and she stood up, "I wonder what kind of bird that is," she murmured stretching to her full length before slowly heading towards where the sound seemed to be originating from. It had an unusual sound unlike that of any bird she had ever heard and it intrigued her as it drew her in.

The wind shifted and with it came the smell of a dragonfly. Teles' eye almost lit up as she peered ahead to see what kind of dragonfly it was. She never stopped the song but she did tuck her feather behind her ear again. She saw some movement past the trees and watched it carefully. Now that the dragonfly was closer she could tell it was a female. But that didn't matter, she could still find some interest in the other she thought.

Isis let out a long sigh as she slowly trudged forward, the song had a sort of unhappy sound to it in comparison to that of the cheerful birds who were always happy just to be alive. No, no this wasn't the sound of a bird that was for sure, or at least not any bird she had ever met. Her eyes slowly rose from the ground as she saw a splotch of green, 'definitely not a bird,' she thought as she willed herself to stop.

Teles frowned a little when the movement stopped. Sighing she moved foirward past a few of the trees to get a good look at the dragonfly. A smile appeared on her lips seeing that it was an elder.
Slowing the song to a hum she watched the elder with a smile and waited for it to say something.

Isis tilted her head gazing at the elf, she was a rather interesting sight to see with that feather behind her ear, perhaps she liked birds too? The elder shrugged slightly at the though and smiled, "hello... your not a bird," she let out a cheerful laugh as she said it and she beamed.

Teles stopped humming and smiled at the elder infront of her. "Oh did you think that I was one?" She had a playful tone to her voice. "I'm sorry to say that I'm not a bird, but closer to one then you are." A small smirk appeared in her smile.

Isis shook her head," only because of the beautiful singing... I often spend my time listening to the birds, they make great company," she smiled looking the woman over. "Oh I know your not a bird in case you couldn't tell by my previous statement though I can't say i exactly agree with your statement that your closer to one unless your bones are hallow?" She raised an eyebrow and sat down not exactly getting a good vibe from this elf.

Teles laughed and watched the other elder carefully. "My bones are not hallow, but they are might lighter then yours I'm sure." She ran a hand through her short hair for a moment before smiling again. "You should be careful when following the pretty sound of things. I could get you into trouble."

Isis snorted quietly, this elder seemed rather haughty, but one must always be polite. "Ah... whatever you say," she paused, "I'm sure you know more about your bones then i do," she said this slowly carefully choosing her words. Looking at her she frowned resisting the urge to smirk, "I'm an elder I think i can take care of myself," she stretched to her full height and looked down at the elf, she was a rather unpleasant person to be around it seemed but she didn't want to set her off.

Her eyes glinted as she looked up at the elder. A small smile crossed her face. "Many think they can take care of themselves when faced with something." She plucked the feather from her ear and started playing with it again. "And trust me, my body is build a little different from yours."

Isis watched her finding her attitude annoying, it was hard to keep the emotion from playing across her face but she restrained her annoyance, "Yes and most of the ones that are wrong are younglings" she said narrowing her eyes ever so slightly, "there are advantages to every body build believe me, no matter how different mine may be from yours." The elder tried to keep her voice rather monotone to prevent her irritation from showing, she was never fond of arrogant dragonflies.

Teles just laughed and held the feather up infront of her. "My it seems you are starting to get a little mad. Could it be because of me?" She smirked a little and tucked the feather behind her ear again. "How easy it is to get a reaction from someone when they are trying to hide it. Anger is a fun things to play with."

Isis would've sneered but she knew better, the best way to handle someone like this was to crush them either mentally or physically, to show them that you are the boss or to show them a completely unaffected face. The elder tilted her head and chuckled, "me mad?" she laughed, "of course not i never get mad," she said letting a smile play across her face. "It seems you've read me incorrectly but i suppose you will find most people aren't like books."
