+ --- [ Hi, my name is ] - [ Lady Ardina Elednor ] + --- [ My Race is ] Unknown, one of the long lived races, something related to a vampire [ ] + --- [ Age.. ] - [ 512, quite young in terms of her people ] + --- [ Beware of my... ] - [Scythe: Forged with the finest steel, this deadly blade is finished with an exquisitly ornate leaf shaped blade. Katana : Crafted specifically for her, the blade is black, rimmed in an eerie blood-red gem. Somehow the edge remains sharp. it is very slim blade, the weathered black hilt is wrapped in leather to provide a better grip. A battered crystal is embedded in the hilt, it may once have been valuable but is no longer after decades of hard use. Ardina is one of the few of her family gifted with a powerful, near complete link to the darkness' energy. As a result, she excels at all sorts of dark magic, mostly involving shadow. A good example are her twin blades, weapons made of shadow. Illusions are as easy for her as they are for her sister, as is bending shadow in any fashion. she's capable of controlling it so well, she can give it a physical manifestation. --- Her weapon of choice would be a Scythe but in case that doesn't do the job, she is equally skilled with the katana. She has a love for exotic weapons, such as bladed-fans (she usually has a pair on her person) but those require great strength, she can't wield them without the aide of magic. (She is able to infuse her weapons with magic, she usually just sets them afire. The fans can be wielded with great effect when she does this. )
Her battle armor consists of black plating neatly trimmed in silver. It is quite comfortable, fitting almost like a second skin, and allows for easy movement, but the most important factor is that it is light while at the same time offering maximum protection. There are some places that are considered weak points; the thighs, feet and beneath the arms. Of course one who is very skilled with a weapon might bypass those areas and slip a weapon between the plating anywhere they wish.
-She has power to create very convincing and realistic illusions that fool not only sight, but all the other senses as well, including touch. No one knows how dangerous these illusions actually are (or whether they are actually illusions). These illusions are even more convincing due to Ardina's rather in depth knowledge of the world, she is very observant. She can mimic people down to the finest details (including voice), details which few people in the world would notice. -She has the power to bewitch people, causing them to be attracted to her despite their misgivings, it is not exactly an active power. She seems to do it without even thinking, some sort of natural defense bred into her bloodline. She has the gift of persuasion: She uses her powers to help sway people to her bidding when she speaks. She doesn't have to be talking about the subject, she just has to be speaking. She could be asking you to make her a sandwich, but what she's really saying is 'kill your brother,' sort of like subliminal messaging.
] + --- [ I really dislike... ] - [ ] + --- [ My sexual Orientation is... ] - [Bisexual, although she tends to go more for males, she likes experimenting on occasion.] + --- [ My heart belongs to.. ] - [Ardina has never had any kind of serious romantic feelings for any person though she was once betrothed. She takes interest in very few people and will occasionally take one of her little toys to bed, but she keeps her heart safely locked away.]
+ --- [ Got anything else to share? ] - [
Ardina is tiny, just over five feet tall and weighs slightly less then a hundred pounds. Her waist length hair is a golden blond and falls in a cascade of loose wispy curls to reach her slim waist, she enjoys dying it on occasion. Emerald, slit pupiled, eyes framed with thick black lashes shine out of a beautiful face with delicately angled, slightly feral features and rosy lips. Her simple beauty can take the breath away from any who see her. Her voice is silky and clear, and her eyes flash with a fierce intelligence that goes well beyond the years she appears to be.When in her most common form, and when not in battle, she often wears a wispy dress of variegated shades of green and gold dancing across its gauzy surface, its folds and points always drifting eerily in an unseen breeze.
Ardina looks at the world as an art critic might view a painting in a museum: pretty, yes, but hardly useful and filled with flaws. Its an intangible thing to her, merely another rest stop on the way to that lovely, restful thing known as death. She tends to be fickle in her loyalties, often flitting back and forth between one person or idea and another. The only thing that is final in Ardina's life and opinion is the end of that life. All things die, for that is how the world works. It is the only thing she believes in and trusts. That isn’t to say she rushes toward it or forces others into it; actually, she believes the idea of death to be wasted if we haven’t been through the hell of life yet. To her, death isn’t a bleak and dismal inevitability—it is a release. And no release can be truly appreciated if we haven’t faced hardship and difficulty on the way toward receiving it. She is one of those strange people who truly cannot be classified as either good or evil. She sits on the fence, directly centered in that mysterious gray area. Although she doesn’t have any sort of “live life to the fullest” idealism, she doesn’t see the point of simply floating through life listlessly. If she is going to experience this step on the way to eventual death, she wants to truly feel it. This want and need drives her to aesthetics. However, she also enjoys experiencing the grim and horrifying. She can find equal beauty in a sunset and slaughter, show appreciation for both the ocean and a drowning victim, or express simultaneous joy at a birth and a grisly death. And always with a disturbingly acceptance that many find too macabre to bear.
Ardina has always been the strong silent type. She has a hard time growing attached to anyone or letting herself get too close to others. She socializes when the time calls for it, but she's still very distant and uncaring. Cold, some would call her, heartless even. Others would say she was just a bit shy. A strange woman indeed. She is sadistic and seductive, a woman who toys with a man's heart should she have the chance. The woman can be an independent one, and a bit of a b***h, for lack of better word. Ardina cuts a dark and mysterious figure to say the least, Her cynical nature and morbid sense of humor often drive people away more than attract them. ] + --- [ family. - [Arkan (Father) Milana(Sister)

+ --- [ Hi, my name is ] - [ Milana ] + --- [ My Race is ] - [ Like a necromancer ] + --- [ Age.. ] - [ 472 ] + --- [ Beware of my... ] - [Milana has with her at all times a gnarled, carved wooden staff, smoothed out and oiled to both shine and feel like glass. The top curls into a twisting knot, as though the branch was once a string that a small child tied to hold something, perhaps a toy, in place. Dangling from one end of that knot is a small golden chain with a silvery pentacle at its end. Strange sigils cover the staff from top to bottom. Around her neck is another pentacle, silver at the end of a silver chain, and a thin, ornate dagger is belted to her side—an ivory handle, ebony blade, and dull, scuffed leather sheath.] + --- [ I really dislike... ] - [ ] + --- [ My sexual Orientation is... ] - [ straight] + --- [ My heart belongs to.. ] - [ No one as of yet ]
+ --- [ Got anything else to share? ] - [ Her lustrous silver hair is layered with streaks of gold and untouched by grey. Her porcelain skin is almost too pale, making her look almost sickly; coupled with her tiny frame, she could easily be mistaken for one of the many ghosts she summons. The expression on her face is one of vaguely amused disdain. A swath of black cloth forms a sort of robe-like garment that wraps around her body in loose folds of thick velvet. The robe’s long sleeves consume her hands, and the length of the outfit drapes to the ground, where it pools around her feet like liquid night. She has a pretty face; cherubic, rosy lips; her (currently sightless) wide blue violet eyes are shot through with gold and framed by thick eyelashes; thin and delicately shaped features. The characteristics add to her doll-like appearance, a style that Milana wears with eerie poise, her eyes always filled with a sultry wickedness. Beneath her long robe she wears a pure white dress, simple cotton with a skirt covered by copious amounts of thick, poofy white lace. The bodice is fitted perfectly to her frail form, and the skirt puffs out slightly at just the right place to accentuate thin hips. Her shoes are white, strappy heels, worn over knee-high white socks topped with lace. Another part of her deceiving “doll” appearance. Milana has a few skills to her name. Due to her small size, she is incredibly swift and agile, and she has masterful control of her dagger strikes. She can also use her staff with a credible amount of talent. Most importantly, however, is the fact that she is a necromancer of spirits. The sigil-covered staff and pentacles are merely tools through which to channel her energy and summon such entities. Milana almost always has a spirit with her, but this isn’t because she’s constantly ready for conflict: she channels the energy of the spirit’s sight through herself to see. It is an imperfect technique with many blind spots, and her vision is entirely in wavering shades of blue, green, and gray; however, it is better than being completely blind, she traded her eyesight for the service of the spirits. The spirits can be used in battle as well, though, and are incredibly difficult to dispatch. For one, the longer the spirit has been dead, the deeper its ties to the earth and the stronger its powers and abilities. Also, physical bodies have great difficulty inflicting damage on the ectoplasmic energy. The easiest way to kill such things, as those that Milana summons , is to use necromancy yourself or disrupt her focus. She sends her will to the spirits through the steady rhythm she keeps to maintain a semblance of a heartbeat for the dead warriors; this is done by tapping a her finger continuously and steadily against her thigh, then channeling her thoughts through that rhythm to the spirit. If her focus or the rhythm are thrown, the spirit is free to wander at will or be released back into the ether. There is one other way to destroy the spirits, but is much trickier: destroy their ethereal heart, and the tapping of Milana’s book against her leg does nothing, for there is no “heart” for her tapping to replace the beat of. Milana can be unusually cruel at times, but that is simply part of her nature.]
