When Micajah had heard that there was a class to play Music that would fulfill one of his requirements for learning Magic, he thought it was a joke at first and laughed it off inside his room. It was only when he;d done some research on his computer about classes that he noticed it was indeed a choice and, noticing the violin that sat in the corner of his room gathering dust, he wondered if this was a good chance to start playing again. He'd already gotten new strings for it during the trip he'd recently made to the mall with Cane, and if that was all it took now to get it in proper working condition...he'd sure as hell use the class as an excuse to play.
So getting properly dressed in his uniform, the robe flowing over a long black shirt that seemed to blend into blue pants, Micajah gathered the violin under his arm and headed towards the destination written on board as the location for the class.
When he arrived there seemed to be no one else there, not even teachers, but several things were set out to indicate he'd come to the right place. There was a music stand (complete with sheet music) set out every few feet, and Micajah sighed as he set his violin down by his feet as he selected a stand to use.

Sasha slid down the hallways with a squeak squeak of his new boots. They were pretty much the awesomest shoes in all the world. And his fur-lined robe ohhh yes. He lurved him some fur-lined anything. After awhile of his skiing down the halls, he hit an uneven tile and tripped right on his face.
"H'ooomygosh..." He prayed no one saw that. Alexander whipped his head forward and back. Nope, no one thank goodness. Pulling himself back up on his scrawny legs, the young boy found a blond head in one of the class rooms. Wow, he didn't know there was another magic student wandering about. Opening the door, Sasha peeked his head in. "H-Hey...! What uh... whatcha doin...?" He looked familiar but he just couldn't remember the boy's name.

Micajah lowered the violin and bow as the door opened, his eyes moving up from the sheet music, and for a moment he looked quizzical until he noticed who it was. There was no reason he should have been surprised, seeing as he knew of only one other magic student, but he honestly hadn't expected anyone else to come to this class.
"Oh, hello Alexander. Good to see you again."
He smiled from where he stood behind the music stand, peering over at the boy as if he were looking at someone that was an old friend, not someone he hardly knew. It was pretty good for him that Alexander had come in when he did, seeing as Micajah hadn't started actually playing yet, so it was easier for the blond to stop what he was doing.
"Here for music class, or just here to listen to music?"

The Russian boy's eyes bugged as if Mica's head just fell off. "There is seriously a music class? And for credit?" Seriously? Oh my gosh!! How easy and fun.... except he didn't know how to read music, let alone play and instrument. Still, with another student here maybe he can just jack off in the class and talk with uhhh.... what was his name?! Uhmmuhmuhmuhhh Mi...ca? Or something... He'd figure it out.
Closing the door behind him, Sasha crept quietly to Micajah's side, looking over at the sheet of music the boy had been or was going to play. It just looked like a jumble of scribbles to Alexander. "So you uhh.... play the violin....?" Wow, Captain Obvious over here.

"Yes, I didn't know about it either until I actually came here. I doubted it was real, but everything seemed legitimate so I'm going to just play my violin for a while and say I've studied. I mean, the whole purpose of this class is to let us relax and learn to read the flow of music easier. Supposedly that will help us in turn understand magic better, but. . ."
He failed to see the connection.
"My name is Micajah but the way, if you're stumbling for what to call me, and yes I do. I've played it since I was probably six or seven, I can't really recall, but I have to admit I'm a little rusty. I don't think I've played at all since I came to this school."
He moved his hand out to straighten the stand and the music, peering at the notes like he was trying to decipher them as well, before he finally turned down to look at Alexander.
"Do you play anything, or are you here really just to listen? Either way if fine with me, I really don't mind the company."

"Oh really? Huh........" That did seemed a bit odd. Maybe it like.... helped with concentration or discipline or something. "Well they're the teachers, so I guess they know what they're talking about?" Sasha laughed at that, not even sure of his own advice.
"Oh uhhh..." His soft smile faltered after the student found him out. "Th-thanks... sorry I'm not.. very good at names. I kinda forget them all the time..." Oh well... no harm no foul? He didn't seem too mad. Alexander took a seat beside Mica, peering over at the stand. "Uhhh no... I.... can't even read music actually....." He was kind of embarrassed to admit such a thing.

"Ah, I see. Maybe I should teach you some time then, if we keep bumping into one another here. It would help me refresh and maybe soon enough we can play music together. Playing a solo is fun, but a duet is beautiful."
Micajah raised his violin back up and slowly drew the bow across the strings once it was in position, causing the instrument to release a long note that resembled a bird's cry. It wasn't a rough one, more like a night call, and he followed with another note that was softer and more refined.
"Do you have any musical requests? I can't guarantee how they'll sound, but I'll try to play for you."
