Can I choose a favorite?
I love the following, but there's no way I could pick a favorite.
2nd Timothy 2:22-26 " Flee from the evil desires of youth, and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those out of a pure heart. Don't have anything to do with foolish or stupid arguements, because you know they produce quarrels. And the Lord's servant must not quarrel; instead, he must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. those who oppose him he must gently intruct, in the hopes that God will grant them repentance, leading them to the knowledge of the truth, and they will come to their senses and escape the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will. "
Psalm 80:1-2;5-6 " I will sing of the Lord's great love forever. With my mouth I will make Your faithfulness known through all generations. I will declare that Your love stands firm forever, that You established Your faithfulness in Heaven itself. the Heavens praise Your wonders, O Lord, and Your faithfulness too, in the assembly of the holy ones. For who in the skies can compare with the Lord? Who is like the Lord among the heavenly beings? "

These verses help me a lot in hard times... James 1:2-3 : Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance.

GraceC I also like John 3:16 which everyone should know Actually, I prefer John 16:3. When John Carrey was running, he said that he was a very strong Christian, and that his fave verse was John 16:3. He, of course, meant 3:16. Joh 16:3 And they will do these things to you because they have not known the Father nor Me.

Romans 8:35-39
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: "For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered" No, in all these things we are more than conqurors through him who loved us for neither angels nor demons, neither present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord
