The winged mare was feeling down, for her high she had received after running across the angeni orphan Adelle had taken in, had dissipated. Oh how she wanted that high back! Neva stomped through the snow as she thought of how she could feel that high. It had been the first time she had ever felt that way, and now she needed it more and more. Her travels on the pathway to darkness was consuming her life.
All of her thoughts nowadays consisted of harming members of her family, and those she had encountered before that had really irritated her. If her mother had foals once more, Neva was bound determined to sneak off with one, to further injure her mother's spirits. She'll then ditch the basket somewhere, or...perhaps even keep it and train it to hate those that dance in the sky. Either one she knew would just break her mother's heart. But her one brother would be an issue, for he would make sure that she did nothing of the sort. Oh she would find a way to take care of him. Perhaps she would do the same thing to him! That would teach him to butt in where he is not needed.
Her malicious thoughts continued, as she kicked the snow, trying to ignore who it reminded her off. Neva desperately needed to feel that power and that high she got, and right now she didn't care how she did it. She just knew she needed it or she would go insane.

He was always there, lurking just outside her shadow, golden eyes glaring at her from behind. Andre hated his sister and considered her a threat to his family, even if she WAS his family. She had hurt their mother's spirit one too many times. He had been trying to clean up her messes, but they were growing too much. She had to be stopped, standing just out of sight and scent, the silver stallion glared down at his sister. Letting the snow collect about his hooves, Andre still watched her as she scuffed through the snow in anguish and contempt. He didn't know if he wanted to know what was going through her mind, but he was going to confront her.
Stretching his wings from his sides, he took to a low swoop to land just behind her. Wings folding themselves back to his sides, and long hair falling back into place. He knew that his presence was known to the mare before him, his sister, Neva. Ears laying themselves back, he just stood there as she kept stomping and throwing snow around. Andre had wanted to just keep to the background, but what had happened not too long ago tore him enough to come forward.
"Hello, Neva." His voice harsh, begrudged with furry that his parents were too proud to show. They had their reasons, but he took it upon himself to be their anger and deal with, her.

Speaking of the devil. Neva whirled around and glared at this creature before her. "Why don't you stop following me. Thing." Her voice low and malicious as she continued to glare at the stallion. This stallion combined all of the things she hated in life and now he was here to try to save the day once again. "Besides, thing, it's not like I'm up to anything new. So why don't you run home to poor wittle mama and protect her from the big bad evil Neva?" She smirked as she finished speaking, her previous thoughts coming back to mind, her anger fueling those thoughts even more. Oh how she'd love to take some of that anger out on this pitiful thing of a stallion.

And there was that sparky attitude that always got her into trouble. Still the same ol' Neva, quick to temper and quick to react. It was a wonder she was still alive, pity that, he wouldn't care if he saw her dead in the snow somewhere, so much for brotherly love. Her words tore at him that made his anger only deeper, sinking his mind deeper into darkness. Not quite as dark as hers, but dark enough to put her out of her misery himself.
"Leave mother out of this, Sister." He hissed as she was starting off with their mother. "This is just between the two of us. Am I clear?"
He hadn't any intentions of harming Neva at first, but now things were going beyond what he had expected. Then again, what could he expect from his cold hearted sister? Not much, but a mask of contempt on their family and what they were. Proud winds who took life less then seriously at times and chose to enjoy it to its fullest. If he had known his sister was going to be this when when she was still in her basket, he would have dealt with her then and convinced mother there were only two baskets, instead of three. But it was already too late now, she was grown and still just as arrogant as ever.

Being called 'sister' made her shudder with anger. She wanted no part of this family! "I am not your sister, you stupid thing. I never had been and I never will be. As for mother, I don't have to leave her out. Her poor little heart is almost broken into two isn't it? Just a little more to go." Her high was coming back as she spoke, that feeling of darkness enveloping her in it's grasp. Neva glared at the thing that claimed relation to her, and she was sorely tempted to bite him, but held off waiting for the direction things would turn.
"Just so you know, you're not the ruler over me. I work by my own rules, so you don't make yourself clear." Oh this was going to be an interesting day.

Andre didn't move, nor did he really twitch at being called a 'thing'. He had thought as much from the mare whom had come to betray what his family stood for. His glare deepened as he stoped closer to Neva, close enough that he could have turned and kicked her square in the head, but his hooves remained on the ground.
"Like it or not, you ARE my sister, Neva and I will not bring mother into this. Just because she and father are too proud to bring punishment down upon you. I have no problems with it. I am your elder and will kill you if I have to."
He had said it, now it was her turn to react to it. He wouldn't have been surprised if she attacked him, he wouldn't stand there and let her berate their family. He was her elder and was going to take her down if he really needed to and it seemed that someone had to step up. He was going to do it, no matter what happened to himself. Andre had taken indeed a dangerous position, he just wouldn't let his family fall to his sister's plots.

"You're just as vain as those stupid angeni's." Neva said as she glared at him, so very tempted to rip the feathers from his wings. "You are not an elder to me, you aren't even above me in rank. For I am nothing to you." She took a step closer towards the stallion who claimed to be family.
"You can't do anything to me anyways. It would break her heart and you know it. If something happened to me it would push her over the edge, because I know she still has hopes that I'll come back." Her voice was gaining that high pitch sound that she so loved to hear for it meant her high was coming back. "So try to kill me, try to harm me, and you will be the one to live with the guilt of that stupid mare jumping off a cliff or throwing herself to the wolves."
She was so tempted now to jump at him, and rip his wings to shreds, making it possible for him to never fly. Neva bit her tongue and held her stance there, glaring at him, prepared to attack should he come after her first. If he did, she would make sure she shredded his wings making it impossible for him to join the family in the skies.

Andre glared at his little sister as she came closer to him, his gold eyes watching her carefully, not moving from where he stood. Her words cut deep, but most of them were true, he knew that, but didn't think about them. But there were somethings that certainly weren't true, he wasn't vain. Hardly, he charished life and his family, but he wouldn't be placed on the same level as those who rule the heavens.
"True, I can't out right kill you, but I can always just haunt your shadow. Follow you where ever you go and make sure your life is just as miserable as you made OUR mother's." He grinned, letting that small spark from his foal hood shine through. "Blood is always attracted to blood Neva, or had you forgotten that?"
He closed the gap between them standing still a bit taller then her. He was always the tallest of the kids, Shihab was proud of that, that his son was a leader in many ways. He looked down toward Neva, wanting to just turn and kick her to see what would happen, he had heard of her encounters with the meaner kinds, but they seemed to do little against her presistent anger.
"Just watch your back, Little. Sister." He enphesized the last two words. With that he backed up enough to turn away from her, his wings held close to his body... Unused.

"She will never be my mother!" Neva cried out as her eyes flashed a fearful fire as she made an attempt to lash out at him. He had already moved away by this time and so her attempt was ended up being just a mere warning. Her breathing was erratic as she glared at him, wanting to rip his wings to shred right then and there, but a better idea came to mind, and she couldn't help but smirk.
"If you get in my way, I will make sure that your own family will pay. I won't be afraid to harm your precious children. Or even encourage a skinwalker or kalona to do so." Her eyes showed no emotion now as she spoke, her mind lost to what she could do. "And if you confront me again, I will shred those precious wings of yours, and you'll never be able to fly again." Neva back up a bit, as she made ready to leave this thing that claimed to be family. She would never have a family. Never.

Andre stopped, grinding his teeth together, his ears laying back against his skull, hidden within his mane. Stomping a hoof, he huffed lightly before turning to charge back toward Neva, he was faster then she was and he aimed to knowck her over, a hoof coming down to perhaps land on her throat. She had threatened his family, her underlings. Baring weight on his leg that might have landed on her. He snapped at the air, hoping to be cutting off her circulation.
"Don't you threaten that. Ever!" he snapped "I'll make sure that your life is a living hell. Don't tempt me, Little, Sister. You don't know what hell is." He would press harder hoping to get his point across. "If you find a male heaven help him, cause he won't escape my wrath either."
Andre didn't let up just yet, before long he stepped back away from Neva, watching her and her actions. He knew that she would retaliate if she hadn't been too injured. But he was a fighter, and wouldn't have any problems with doing mortal harm, he had already shown that and he could make it worse, MUCH worse.

Neva whirled around just as Andre landed on her, trying to pin her down. She bared her teeth at him in a rage, angered at his actions. "I will threaten it if I so desire. You get in my way and I swear I will!" she hissed at him, not afraid of him killing him. She quickly got back up and glared at him.
"Try it again and I will shred those precious wings of yours!" She was beyond pissed, her anger turning into rage as she planned how to get back at him. He would pay for this and instead of waiting to see if he tried to come at her again, she flew at him, her mouth open as she aimed for his wings. She was going to pull out enough feathers to make it so he couldn't fly.

Andre having backed away from Neva before she hissed and came at him. His wings flared open and he leaped into the air, using his wings to gain ground before Neva could grasp his wings. Skimming over the ground his wings moving at his side to lift himself away from the ground and into the skies. His golden eyes ablaze as he looked down toward Neva.
"So you want to play the tough one? So be it Neva." He shouted down toward her, "Then bring it you foal. Come play with the big dogs and see if you can make it."
He still saw her as a foal, so childish in her ways of hurting people. She wasn't anything, but that, a foal. Snorting as he waited, well he moved some to make himself not a standing target. Swooping some he headed higher toward the clouds, he had a feeling that Neva would be following. His long tail waving behind him as he went, before long he leveled off and looked back.
"Come on, I know you are angry enough," He muttered to himself, waiting...

The mare's teeth snapped shut on air, the sound ringing through the area. Neva glared up at the thing now flying into the sky and she grinned a malicious grin. She would not join him in the skies, but she would wait for him with all four hooves planted on the ground.
"Who are you to call foal? I'm the one that actually has a brain!" she called up to him. "I will not join your filth up in the sky! I will never be caught dead up there, and be as foolish as you are. All sky dancers should have their wings shred to pieces!" Her voice rang out, and she watched the sky, waiting for him to come back and attack her should he so dare. She would be waiting.
