I think one of the reasons we are having problems following the threads is there is no since of day or night and at least I'm not always sure a thread is complete so I may start my next day. Does anyone else have this problem.

Is the current tower grounds night complete so that we may start another day. I realise even I'm sporatic about posting, though I try to stay current with the threads to avoid further confusion.

Thats a good point Aria...I think that we should at least at the top of each post state where the sun is, and a date (based on the history)

It's also because I do not wish to post ahead. I mean no offense but we limit others RP time by sustaining the same day and or hour over 3 days of Realtime. I do not think that all of it must be in the same night and I don't think this is intentional. Mainly I want the day to pass so I can work on getting into the story a little stronger........
Basically it sucks to be THE novice....hehe
No offense meant or taken just for your info.

I have to disagree with you Orion, timestamping would actually make things alot easier. We should use something basic such as:
Character Name Location Current Date & Time of Day
This could solve several potential problems.
First, some people forget to mention their characters name in each post, so by posting it at the top it eliminates the need to mention the name. Also this allows a person with two characters to differentiate between the two without confusion. This might not seem like a major deal at the moment, but as the membership expands it will be a necessity.
Second by listing a location we know where everyone is without being forced to jump between threads. You could then use one main roleplay thread to give everyone an opportunity to go where they need to to interact with others. It will also eliminate the hassle of trying to figure out where the other players are and trying to interact with them when they are halfway across the world.
Third, we could keep track of days and time by keeping everyone in synch and not letting anybody get too far ahead or fall too far behind. Also we could set certain stipulations on this rule such as: - Nobody is allowed to post more than half an hour ahead of the most recent post - Only the high ranking members of the guild can advance the roleplay to the next day; with the exception of an event clearly ending - We can force those who fall too far behind to keep up with the rest of us, even if they don't account for where they have been during those missing hours (after all not every minute of every day needs to be accounted for).

What the heck is timestamping? I don't really understand.
And about being a novice, it doesn't really matter. I'm just a youngling and I got caught up in the story. Just run into us (not literally) and do somthing to prove you can be trusted. We could probly use reinforcements. I don't really know; at this point I have no idea what's going on.

lol actual the political nature of a youngling in the tower is far different from a novice. Besides some people already know I can be trusted and I have stretched the boundaries of decorum for now. So for now I shall work within my confined boundaries breaking rules as any good novice should........ wink
