A large unicorn with fresh scars was roaming through out new terrain. He had wounds from a battle he had encountered with a half kalona. Needless to say he had won. Though it had been close, if it weren't for his healing abilities he probably would've bled to death. He was very fortunate that he didn't. Over the last couple days he had met a few lovely ladies including Armelle, a beautiful regular with a dark pelt like him and light pink swirls all over. His eyes had wandered over many females, he had never found the right one, perhaps he never would. He didn't know himself. No one could take the place of his past love, he would do anything to have her back. He didn't understand why her left, perhaps thats why he never got too attached. Women were unpredictable, and therefore he should too. It was good to make sure that the females he met didn't have any expectations.
His multicolored eyes searched for the water source he could smell, and hear. The rush of it was welcomed, though winter was still here he couldn't wait for spring. He always loved warmer weather. He finally found the source and arched his neck to take a couple of drinks, he had perfected it so the water wouldn't touch his long curled mane, but it didn't help as well with the wet snow on the ground. Adonis just looked to the clouded sky wondering what today had in store for him.

Pink and gold wings fluttered upon her back creating something of a humming sound. Wondering through the forest as she put distance between herself and the cave she'd been staying, where he older twin still was asleep. She usually didn't get out of there alone, her twin was so protective over her, so when she had woken up before him, something she rarely did, she had decided to wonder off on her own.
What she was seeking she wasn't sure though she had her ideas. She wanted the sunlight and what warmth it would provide, she didn't like the cold or winter and while a cave was warmer then it was outside it was still too chill for her liking.
She needed to see the sun and feel it's warmth seep into her body sending a thrill up her spin, making her wings flutter, and her tail twitch with the powerful shudder the first bit of the suns heat brought to her body. There was also the need for water that took her out of the cave as she made her way toward the nearest source of water. It was one of the few things she liked cold, in fact she liked it when it was ice cold.
Finding another at her usual source of drinking cyan eyes swept over the male, a stallion...interesting. And he was quite pretty though pink on a male struck her as a bit odd. Tossing her hair back and giving her tail a flicker she made her way silent as could be to the waters edge not more then a few feet from the stallion.

Adonis could immediately identify the sweet scent of a female. He turned his head to see that she had snuck up on him. He watched as she made her way to the waters edge, she was like he hadn't ever seen before, so bright and wildly colored. He wondered what her parents looked like to produce an offspring like her. He knew he would've got smacked if he said that outloud by one of his 'girl' friends and then would be called shallow. Oh well, they'd have to get over it. He couldn't change who he was.
For once he couldn't take his off the female, though it was usually vice versa. When he caught her eye their was something he hadn't seen before, as if he wasn't satisfactory? Oh ho ho. That would be bothering him for a good four months. He was a prided soquili and often spent many a time looking at himself in the water's reflection.
"Hello," he greeted with a greater confidence than he felt. He thought he should leave it at that in case the female did not wish to carry on a conversation.

And what would one think knowing she possessed a twin a counter part as her twin was male, though he certainly didn't look to be such in her opinion. As for parents she couldn't claim to know or remember anything on them, side from perhaps that they had named her and her brother. She was quite aware of her own unique and bright appearence, she was a bit vain about that and knew she attracted attention due to her looks.
A single cyan eye met the stallions gaze before she turned fully to him and gave a tilt of her head. "Good afternoon." She greeted calmly. Really he wasn't all that bad looking but not quite so bright, she knew he was different for sure though.
"Enjoying the warmth of the afternoon?" She inquired calmly while lifting her horned head fully.

He nodded his head at her, "Good indeed," he responded. His eyes sort of sparkled as he looked to her. He dipped his maw in the water and took a drink before looking back up as she insinuated conversation. Oh goody. He looked to the very interesting femme.
"Indeed I am...I am sick of this cold." he almost shivered as he thought about it. "And you?" he inquired.

"As am I, I cannot wait for the summer and the golden warmth of it to once more take over and send shivers of heat through my body." He spoke shivering in pleasure at the simple idea of such.
She did love the heat and the sun upon her body, it was most pleasing, as much as it was pleasing for a male to compliment her whenever she was able to leave her brothers gaze and be around other males.
