Duncan hadn't ever felt what it was like to have a moment where he couldn't feel anything at all... always in the back of his mind there was at least the underlying feeling of the anger that always plagued him... until now. He couldn't move, couldn't blink, didn't even feel as though he could breath... it was wrong, all wrong. The wrath child took a couple, shaky steps closer to the television before collapsing in front of it as though being closer would make what was being said make more sense. Adriel... was missing? He turned to look over his shoulder to where his father and little brother were standing, his eyes wide, "Adriel... is..." Adriel was missing? How could he be missing? Who would want to take him? He was such a brat... he was weak and he stuttered all the time... always acting in such a way that Duncan didn't understand... it all made him so angry most of the time. He wanted to yell at Adriel but at the same time he wanted to hold onto him... the strange and twisted desire to keep his friend close to him, to hold onto him, to kiss him battled with the desire to harm him, the weird urge to scratch and bite at him...
He shook his head, trying to clear his twisted thoughts and was suddenly pushing to his feet and rushed toward the door. He had to go there, had to go to Durem, had to find Adriel! He was surely there somewhere, he probably just got lost... he was such an idiot... or maybe he got himself into a fight? Said or did something wrong, or those tentacles of his had started problems... what if he'd gotten beat up? He gave a confused sound as several scenarios started to race through his mind.
June gave a sound of surprise moving forward to catch hold of his son, barely able to stop his blind charge toward the door. It knocked Duncan a bit silly, knocked the breath out of his lungs as well and left the giant of a man's arm throbbing, "Duncan... you can't just rush off! The police will find him its thier job after all and..." He trailed off, looking down at his son with wide eyes. He'd been somehow expecting to see anger on his son's face, it was an emotion the boy was very familiar with but... to see him looking rather distraught instead, lost, and for a split second as though he might cry over the idea of his friend having gone missing.
It caused June pause... which was a very bad move on his part as the moment his guard faltered Duncan ducked under his arm and was heading out of the front door to quick for June to catch up with him.
"Duncan..." The man murmured, watching him as he disappeared from sight in a flash. He lowered his hand to the small boy at his side, ruffling his hair before he scooped him up, "Come on, we will wait for Duncan to get home. I am sure after he searches a while and gets tired he will be back." There was only so much a lone child could do, not nearly as much as the proper authorities could do... and as much as June wished he could have saved him from the running around and searching that would more then likely end with coming up empty handed he'd been unable to keep hold of him.
The tiny boy nodded, leaning against his father and gave a soft sighing sound. It was the first time the tiny boy had felt sorry for his rather mean, grouchy older brother.

Reshmi was sitting up on the roof, watching the ground below. Not as many people down below anymore he realized a somewhat bored manner... they were still searching for him but as hard as the first day he'd been missing. Not that they would ever find him, he wouldn't allow for that to happen while the boy was in his care... besides he would be letting him go eventually anyway. There was no fun in keeping one person forever nor was there any point in it, his threads could only gain so much strength from feeding off of a person. His current catch would give him only so much and then he would have to let him go so that he could be replaced. A shame, he was rather pretty and he had a sweet and sugary scent to him...
The spider demon gave pause, leaning forward as he felt someone creeping into the alleyway that he'd decided was his for the night... well not so much was he creeping as he was just walking kind of slow as though his feet were paining him. He looked down at them, then gave a blink of his many eyes. He was barefoot in the snow the demon realized, taking in the way he moved, as though limping slightly. It must hurt... he must be walking on frozen feet, how terrible... not to have them at least frozen enough that they would go numb. It would be easier for the boy to move then.
Reshmi's eyes narrowed slightly when the voice of the one down belong reached him, the voice wasn't familiar but the name he was calling out was... Adriel... so this was another one that wanted to find his current food source? It wouldn't happen he thought... though this one seemed to have some interest blood to him... perhaps he could capture him as well? A second would make it so they could stay longer, two sources of food would keep him from having to hunt for a time, would strengthen his threads twice as much... and it would be so kind of him to both bring this young man out of the snow to where he could warm up and bring him to his missing friend.
He jumped from the roof he was on to the alley below, placing himself this time so that his web was between the young man and himself. He'd only been hoping for a bite to eat, to let Adriel rest and let his blood build back up, maybe a human foolish enough to stumble this way. Who'd have thought he would be so lucky as to catch two beings like this in a day?
"Hello there pretty." He said, giving a smile that showed many sharp teeth.
Duncan's body stiffened at what he perceived as an insult, giving the man a dark glare, "I am not pretty." He snapped.
Reshmi couldn't help but laugh, temperamental thing wasn't he? That could be used to his advantage he thought before resting two hands on his hips, crossed two arms over his chest, then used the final two to give a lazy shrug, "I would think you would enjoy the compliments, I doubt you would get them often... you don't seem the sort that would find those who would find you befitting of their tastes."
Duncan blinked, looking... confused. It took him a moment before it finally sank in what the spider was saying. That He should be happy, that Duncan was probably considered ugly by everyone else... The wrath spawn gave a low growl in his throat taking a step closer to the other demon, seeming to forget for a moment what he was doing and seemed to not really notice the fact that he was outmatched. Reshmi was bigger, stronger, and no doubt more experienced... Duncan's temper blinded him to that.
"Did I strike a cord within you?" He asked, tilting his head to the side before he lifted one hand to make a motion at him, "Come on then, don't be scared little boy... I am a fan of a good fight and hey, if you win I will even throw in a special bonus for you."
Duncan's three eyes narrowed, "I want nothing from you." He spat.
"Nothing? Are you sure? I can tell you where Adriel is." The spider's voice was a purring sound, his lips curling into a smirk.
Once more he found himself frozen in place, his mind whirling, and then rage filled him. It was him? This demon before him knew where Adriel was! He must have been the one to take him! He gave a snarling sound and rushed forward, wanting nothing more then to tear him apart! He'd be more then willing them tell him where Adriel was once he was missing a few arms he thought, his mind instantly getting hazed by the red of blood lust...
Reshmi took a step back, its all he needed as Duncan collided with the red threads of his web...

Reshmi was chuckling, he couldn't help it as he watched the red skinned boy as he fought with the red threads that he was tangled up in. The more he struggled the more he would get tangled, the more exhausted he would get, and he would collapse soon enough. The demon took a couple of step sback, waiting and watching... when he heard something that was rather out of the ordinary from when he had caught waited for his prey to get tired out... there was a sound up above, where some of the red threads were attached... a 'twang' sound.
Reshmi looked up, watching as a snapped thread hung down from where it had been broken free... then looked over at the demon who was snarling and pushing against the ground with his clawed feet. The more he struggled, the more he pushed to get at Reshmi, the more the web started to weaken in places... the ground under Duncan was becoming stained with red, the concrete cutting into his frozen feet.
Several more threads became weakened and snapped and Duncan fell threw the web landing in a heap. He was still for a long moment, gasping for a breath... then looked up at the spider demon with all three of his eyes. It was hard to make out anything but him, the rest of his vision seemed to have been stained with red, with his rage, "Kill... you..." He growled, pushing off the ground and lunged at Reshmi.
While he was still tangled up in the threads, tripped up by them, he was still fighting to get at his enemy... at his target... at the demon that had stolen his friend away.
The spider looked... pretty surprised really, watching the way that the angry creature broke through his web and was trying to get at him even now. It was both impressive and a bit of a drag. How did one catch such angry prey? He gave a shrug, taking a step back to avoid the first attack the teen made easily enough, watching him as he fell forward his legs still stuck to the fallen web. Duncan gave some snarling curses and was pushing to his feet again to attack once more... his claws racking across one of Reshmi's arms... the demon didn't even seem to think, just reacted and swung back his many hands connecting in several places at once causing the half breed to stagger backwards, reeling.
"Hmm... you are a violent little thing aren't you? So mixed up... I think you need to calm down." Reshmi said, lifting his arm up so that he could lick his wounds and observed as the other creature fought to regain his feet. Violent but persistent... it was when he got closer again, when the spider could breath in the scent of the blood around Duncan that he found himself a bit confused. There was something about it that was so very similar to that of the boy he already had in his care. How was it two boy that looked nothing alike could share that sort of scent? That sort of bond?
Reshmi jerked back to avoid the next attack best that he could and once more swung, his own sharp nail cutting across Duncan's face... it blinded the boy's three eyes with blood though he hit just right so the eyes remained intact... the reaction was an interesting one. The teenager just sort of... collapsed to his knees... gasping for a breath and seemed to be trembling all over. It... reminded him of something he'd seen before, a demon who never blinked and as such was one of the best hunters in the Underworld...
Perhaps this was the first time that this boy was unable to see anything at all? Now was the time to strike. Reshmi lunged forward and swung a large foot forward... it connected with Duncan's chest sending him flying backwards... his back connected with the brick wall behind him, there was a crash, the sound of broken cracking, the sound of metal on brick, then he hit the ground unmoving. Reshmi grinned, walking forward to grab hold of the boy by his arms, dragging Duncan's form and drug it onto his back before he set to climbing back up to the room and headed for home. Another delicious meal to be sampled he thought to himself with a happy grin on his face.

Reshmi's nest was quiet when he slipped inside. He glanced over to where he left Adriel, somewhat tangled by his ankles and one wrist in the webbing. He gave him a glance before he moved to the opposite wall to attach the currently unconscious, bloodied heap that was Duncan to the other wall. When he was entangled around his ankles and wings he dropped him letting him lay there to recover. He would wake up on his own, when he was able to get passed being knocked senseless.
It depended on how long it took him to heal up the spider figured. He gave him a nudge with one foot to make sure that he was still breathing before before turning to head toward the door. He would let his prey rest, would get some rest himself. A nice nap to let the wounds he gotten heal over and recover from weaving so much thread... when he woke he would see about getting a tasty meal... and now he had two different flavored prey to feed from as well.
It would be a good meal that was for sure he thought to himself, closing the door to the room after himself making sure it was locked before he headed up into another hammock like web and was soon dozing off.

Adriel was awake when Reshmi had re-entered his lair, but he had his eyes closed as he didn't exactly want to draw the spider man's attention. He had far too much of it already. He felt...very defiled, and dirty. He itched for a bath...a cleanse of sorts. But even Chii and Fuu were playing along...as if this was a game to them.
He refrained from opening his eyes, he couldn't give away he was awake..though somewhere in his mind he figured the creature could probably tell anyway. But he wouldn't let that discourage him from his ploy. But he gathered from the sounds that Reshmi...wasn't alone. He waited...patiently...anxiously for the demon to leave. His body twitched as he finally heard the demon recede, and when he opened his eye a slit to check he felt his heart leap into his throat.
DUNCAN???
He ...was shocked. Needless to say extremely worried. "Duncan!" He hissed as he attempted to wriggle around despite his bound wrists and angles.
"Duncan!" he pleaded his voice louder...he was bleeding! He had been in a fight with the other demon.. he had to make sure he was alive!
"Please Duncan...say something!" He begged as he tried to wriggle his way closer to the red-skinned one. He shivered, his body cold as he only was wearing a pair of torn off shorts that were once his pants. He had no idea where the rest of his clothes had went. Nor did he really care at this particular moment.

Duncan's form gave a little twitch at the sound of the voice calling out to him and his yellow eye seemed to be twitching, trying to open up despite the stinging of blood... it half opened, looking over at Adriel... then glared. It was as though it were blaming the other spawn from the look it was giving him... Duncan twitched again and his other eyes slowly opened. He looked quite dazed as though the fight had taken a lot out of him and knocked him rather senseless.
He was hanging slightly forward against the bonds that held onto his wings and it was as though he were trying to place the one he was starring at, the gears in his mind were grinding slowly and then they seemed to finally come upon the answer they were looking for, "Ad...riel?" He murmured, then gave a crooked, idiot smile, "Hey... found you..." He'd not thought he would find him, didn't think he would be so lucky... especially after...
He gave a jerk, trying to sit up straight... spider! There was a spider, where was the... his mind spun and he gave a hissing sound as it would seem sitting up were a bad idea... he could feel some of his bones grinding... a very disturbing sound and feeling...

Adriel gave a weak smile as he heard his friends voice. Oh thank god he was alive! Giving a squeak he felt his body tip over and he fell against the ground heavily. Chii was squished under him and was quite annoyed by it. He was lucky he wasn't attached to the web but at the same time he was very annoyed at his lack of balance.
"Duncan! It's okay, don't move..are you hurt? Does anything feel broken?" He inquired as this was probably the most...bloodied he had ever seen a person. His fear that Reshmi had done something very horrible to Duncan was starting to boil away into a panic.
"Please Duncan look at me... okay? Try to think about your injuries..don't move!" he begged as it broke his heart to see Duncan in such a manner. He had all but forgotten about the fact his forehead was uncovered though he had noticed that with Reshmi ...he didn't always make a move on him if he was in the same room... so it must of meant that his pheromones weren't being released all of the time. It only seemed to have any effect on the demon when he got physically close.
Right now his primary concern was making sure Duncan was ok.

Duncan shifted a little then gave another hissing sound between his teeth before he gave a nod of his head, "Yeah... I think so..." He muttered, sounding rather embarrassed over having to admit such a thing. He had tried hard but that damn spider... it was strong! He drew in a deep breath then wished he hadn't, breathing in deep hurt. It was his ribs at the very least that were at least cracked if not broken. His arm was aching a bit as well... not to mention the fact that his ears were ringing.
He looked over at his friend then gave a nod, try not to think of the injuries he thought to himself or to not move, "I will... sit still..." Best that he could anyway... he looked over at Adriel, looking him over, "Are you... alright? I saw the news and..." He trailed off as he looked his friend over watching him, doing his best to keep his vision from wavering.

Encouraged that Duncan was speaking he knew it was best to keep him talking....he didn't want risk him falling asleep and not coming out of it after.
"Y...yes I ..well...you found me...I've..been..uh..captive here since then..." He started as he winced inwardly watching Duncan wince. Something looked terribly wrong.
"Try to take slow...breaths..." he offered as he wriggeled against the floor again. Chii finally getting itself out from under Adriel and looking quite dejected at being landed on turned its attention to Duncan Fuu then did the same. So...what did they do? Like arms should they helped Adriel move along towards Duncan...it was an eerie sight like some tentacle monster rising from the depths. The closer Adriel got the stronger the scent of blood was.
"Wow...you came..to look for me...I am so sorry Duncan...I..cause you nothing ..but trouble." He murmured as he got closer enough to basically lay at Duncan's feet. Tired Chii and Fuu kept their distance from Duncan mostly due to the glaring third eye.

"Captive... stupid spider." He muttered, looking around as though trying to figure out where he'd gone to. He was in pain, bloodied and broken but... it didn't make him afraid, in fact it caused his anger to rise and he wanted nothing more then to try to battle him again. He'd just been unlucky that was all...
He drew in some breaths though despite trying to keep them steady they were a bit choppy, "I didn't kill it... I barely touched him and he..." He sounded frustrated by his weakness, his inability to really fight against the demon that had so easily knocked him around. He lifted his gaze to watch as Adriel wriggled and crawled over toward him, looking no better then Duncan felt.
"How are you faring? Anything broken?" he asked when Adriel came to a stop near his feet.

Adriel felt his face flush at the question, he was ....physically unharmed but there was no sense in telling Duncan about...Reshmi's rather intimate side. No...not telling him about...THAT part ...... he tried to look up at his friend but found it awkward and thus stared at his feet instead.
"Uh...a bit enemic...but...nothing broken.....at least you fought back...I...didn't do anything...and just fell into his trap.." He stated with a laugh that sounded quite...pained. He really did sound quite pathetic didn't he? It made him feel more useless.
And despite him thinking Duncan should of just stayed at home safe part of him was greedily gleeing over the fact that Duncan had come out to look for him. He felt a warmness in his chest as he thought on it.
"Thank you Duncan...you ...you do L..o.er...care.." he couldn't assume ...though he had feelings for him. since their last meeting had been a bit disastrous when he admitted them to Duncan.

"Thats good." He murmured, at least he wasn't all beat up even if he looked as though something weren't quite right... maybe the spider wasn't taking care of him? Just keeping him here for... whatever it was the freak was after. He gave a low growling sound, "Need to get out of here..." He said, mostly to himself.
He looked down at his friend, all three of his eyes widening slightly and he gave him a bit of a look, "Of course... idiot... think I'd come looking if... I didn't care?" He asked, before giving a little growl having to catch his breath after so many words. He leaned forward, hanging against the red threads as he waited for the wave of dizziness to passe. When it had he looked down at the threads that he was tangled in... then lifted his foot up and leaned forward at the same time to try to chew threw the thread.
He had to get them out of here while the spider wasn't there, "Will... leave... soon." He said as he chewed on one of the threads, they were copper flavored he realized... tasting to much like blood for his liking.

Adriel strained to look up to see what Duncan was doing when he stated they would be free soon.
"ah! save your strength!" he pleaded wishing he could just get up and help him down. But now stuck on his stomach it only made things more awkward. He wasn't really happy to be lying against the floor...it was very uncomfortable.
Now...Chii...reached forward, since they could reach Duncan's feet it poked at the threads and then looking at the glaring eye and then back to the threads it then went about gently reaching in selecting a single thread and snapping it. It took...very little effort to snap that thread.
Hearing the sound Adriel looked up in surprise and noticed that chii was now being selective as it reached forward wrapped around a thread and broke it.
Snap.
What...the...f...u...he for once felt unbridled rage towards his tentacles. They could break the bonds...all this time they could of gotten him out of here but instead they allowed him to be...used for food and other means.
"Fuu, undo my wrist bonds.....now." he stated his tone even and firm and there was a bit of resentment in his words. The purple tentacle retracted from Adriel a bit as if baffled by his order. But...slowly it ..looked at his hand bonds...and it went about snapping threads much like Chii was.

Duncan watched the tentacle as he slithered forward to help with snapping the threads that were around his feet. He was grateful for that, it helped him to sit in a less awkward position as he chewed through the thread on his arm spitting the thread bits out and then gave a grin when it gave out. One down... many to go. Apparently breaking through the threads back in the alley had been a bad idea, it let the spider demon know what he was capable of.
"No, waiting... if we hurry... before that monster comes back." He said, leaning forward to chew through the next one. He was going to get Adriel out of here, gonna save him from that demon. If it got in his way he would kill it!

Adriel understood, Duncan needed medical assistance...and now. Not in an hour or two. He waited impatiently for Fuu to work on breaking his bonds. He was lucky there he didn't have as many threads as Duncan...since he physically was too weak to break them easily but apparently his tentacles weren't.
Once his hands were free he rubbed his aching wrists before ordering Fuu to undo his ankles whilst he slid closer to help with Duncan's bonds.
His own fingers weren't quite as resilient as his tentacles tougher skin was. So needless to say as he managed to get one string undone he could tell this was going to be a bloody affair.
Once his feet were done he ordered Fuu to work on the ankle bonds whilst he sucked on the blood on his fingers. Yuck. It made him shudder recalling teeth sinking into his skin. He hoped Duncan didn't notice the bite marks. before he went about working in silence helping Duncan undo his bonds.
Soon his fingers were bleeding quite badly, and even Chii and Fuu were starting to get cut up from the repetitive process.
