Zoya walked along a well beaten path along the rivers bank. She was in a decent mood as far as her moods went. Wind tussled her soft black fur, as she padded along on strong legs. She was not in any hurry to get anywhere because really she had no where to be. She had just felt the need to move and so she had set off walking on one of the many paths she walked when the mood took her.

@IB: Ok. Oh, and just so you know, it also happens to be the name of an old song. XD

@Dreaming: Ok, that's fine.

RP:
Adrian had been walking along the river bank, the chains rattling with each movement of his legs, when he caught the scent of someone else. His nose twitched at the scent. Who was she? His ears angled themselves in various directions as he tried to pick up some kind of sound from her.

Those are the ones I think fit him IB. IDk he just reminds me of a spirit type wolf.

Zoya was far off in her thoughts and his scent hit her nose followed closely by the sound or rattling chains. She cursed herself inwardly for letting someone get that close to her with out her knowing. She looked up and sure enough a few hundred feet away he was walking towards her ears twitching this way and that. She stopped and say down thumping her tail against the earth to grab his attention. Everything about her stance was open and inviting not a bit threatening. In truth she was not in the mood to fight or it might have been different but as of right now she was in a peaceful enough mood.

Sorry for the late reply. There were some things that I had to do. sweatdrop

RP:
Adrian heard the female's tail thumping and looked up. He noticed that her body language was non-threatening, and he made his match as he introduced himself. "Hello there. I'm Adrian." His smile was polite and friendly.

Zoya nodded her head. "My name is Zoya, it is nice to meet you Adrian. What are you doing this fine day?" She asked but there was no emotion in her voice. Nothing at all that gave anything away about how she was feeling. Yes she was in a good mood but that could change quickly and she had learned long ago to keep everything under wraps so as not to hurt people.

Edit:
She looked over at the newest addition to this strange little meeting and once again nodded.

RP:
Adrian nodded in return. "Nice to meet you, too. I was just walking along the river bank and enjoying the weather. I'm in a fairly serene mood." He grinned.

I need to pick a font color for Adrian, don't I? XD

EDIT: I just saw Zoya for the first time in your sig, and she looks great! heart

RP:
"It is," he agreed, nodding as enjoyed the feel of the breeze blowing through his fur. "Ah, the chains," he sighed. "Let's just say, it's a long story." He smiled as if to make light the mysteriousness of this statement. He was glad that he was in the shadow of a few trees; otherwise, she would be sure to have other questions about him.

Its ok I still have not picked a font color for Rook my newest CC.

She flicked an ear forward in amusement. "A long story as in you don't want to talk about it or a long story as in it would take you all day to tell me? Another question your smell why is it... off?" She asked her voice was blank but her yellow eyes gave off the slightest bit of curiosity.

Yes, she is. Totally amazing. 3nodding heart

RP:
"A little bit of both, I suppose." he answered, a grin playing on his lips. He could tell that she was curious, even though she was trying to hide it. After all of these years, he had learned to be skilled when it came to reading others. "And my scent is 'off' because I'm a bit... different."

She rolled her eyes. Of course he was different she could have told him that. She watched him carefully there was something he was hiding from her and she could not place it. "I won't pry if you do not wish to tell me then don't." She studied him willing the answer to spring forth from the air itself. "I know you are different I could have told you that, what I meant was how you are different and why." Her eyes narrowed the slightest bit with suspicion.

Ok, have fun at the store? XD

RP:
"I don't think you'd believe me, even if I told you. And as for 'why' I'm different, I don't actually know. Fate, I suppose?" Then he titled his head to one side as he smiled playfully. "You seem more observant than others that I've met, so I enjoy your company -- I wouldn't want to scare you off, if I thought that you would believe me." It wasn't fair to toy with her like this, and he knew that. However, he had never been able to tell anyone the truth about what he really was, not once in all the years he'd been alive. He didn't like being unfair, but at the same time, he hadn't been lying about enjoying her company.

Sorry that took so long
Zoya sniffed almost like a sigh only it held a hint of her annoyance. "I am glad you enjoy my company really I am but I must say I have to know what or who you are before I can truly be at ease with you." She looked him over and a thought crossed her mind a fleeting thought but a thought none the less. The smirk ghosted across her face "I would believe a lot of things if given the chance to learn them. You would be surprised at the vast amount of knowledge that I have. I do believe I have a clue as to what you are and it was not until a moment ago when you said I would not believe you that it even dared cross the forefront of my mind." Her tone held the slightest amount of smugness. Her ears twitched as two new scents were blown her way but the ever changing wind. Both males but their smell was far different form the one that sat in front of her now.

It's fine. How did it go?

RP:
"That's understandable," he replied, nodding. He noticed the faint smirk, which dissapeared as quickly as it had appeared. "A clue? And what might that be?" His head titled to the side again, his curiousity sparked by the smugness in her voice. Was she onto something? Part of him wanted her to know, but at the same time, he wasn't sure if it was safe for her to know. Adrian found it difficult to keep this internal conflict out of his voice, though he succeeded. He caught the two new scents, and he wasn't sure he liked them, though he tried his best to hide it. As an Omega, he'd learned to get used to things that he didn't like, so he stayed put.

Actually it went pretty well the car did not die once and I now have Mountain Dew. ^^

She wrapped her tail around her paws. "There is a legend that says something about a race of Helix that drink only blood from their victims. A race of vampires if you will, that are like but not like the normal ones. Your smell it is different faint almost like you have not had one for awhile. That was my first clue, second you said I would not believe it and lets face it the tale I just told you is in fact outlandish and if I did not already know it you would have a hard time explaining it to me. However there are a few things that don't fall into place. Yet you don't seem to be comfortable with the approaching scents, why?" She asked quietly as she watched the display of emotions that was sure to cross his face at her tale. She was just hoping he took the bait and gave away a few more details about himself. She wanted to know what was going on in that brain of his, it was kind of a hobby of hers.

Cool. Now I'm thirtsy... I'm going to get myself something to drink after I type this. XD

RP:
"Interesting... I suppose your train of thought makes sense. Do you actually believe these legends?" He smirked to make it seem like he didn't care one way or the other. "And what doesn't fall into place?" He kept his voice as casual as possible, lying down for added effect. No one had ever asked as many questions as she did, and no one had made him more curious, either. "The approaching scents?" he asked, shrugging to appear nonchalant.

She shrugged and laid down opposite him. "I suppose in a way I do sense I brought it up but at the same time a part of my mind says that I am silly for thinking such things." The smallest amount of emotion could be heard in her voice. You had to be looking for it to even notice it, she sighed and let it slide for now. "Well for one you have not attacked me yet. Of course that could just be due to the fact that you are either full or the legends are wrong on something. Plus you don't strike fear into my heart like you are suppose to of course that could just be something wrong with me sense it is me after all." She let the comment about the scents slide not wanting to push him to hard just yet.

lol It's ok. I think I was already thirsty to begin with, and I just didn't notice until you mentioned that.
And I just saw on the front page that the vampires just glitter and that's it. That was kind of dissapointing, since I wanted to RP him as a vamp. XD

RP:
"And you don't like being unsure," he observed. "I can hear it in your voice." He was observant, especially when he was interested. "And what do you mean by that last comment?" The tone of his voice wasn't pushy, just genuinely curious.

I know its kind of sad but at the same time cool because glittery helix make me happy.


She shook her head. "You are correct I hate being unsure, of anything." She flicked her tail and laid her head on her paws. "Oh and you are out in daylight that does not fit either, though you have stayed in the cover of the trees never stepping out directly into the sunlight so that might be something. Tell me am I even close?" She asked as she mulled over telling him a little tidbit about herself. Her voice dropped to a whisper "I mean its mean and my emotions and thoughts are very messed up when it comes to things like this. When most would run I would stay because I did not react the same. So it could very well just be me." she stated again. She had very skillfully avoided a hard discussion and showing to much of herself while at the same time not lying to him and telling him nothing.

Yeah... But it looks like some people are roleplaying them that way anyway, so I guess it won't hurt if I do the same. XD

RP:
His Omega personality always made it difficult for him to refuse to do what he was told, and the fact that it was a girl making this request only made it harder. So he compromised. "Yes, you're close. Dangerously close. I'll tell you that much." He answered her question, but didn't tell her anything more than that. The truth was, she was more than close. "I noticed that -- not that your mind is 'messed up,' as you put it, but that you react differently," he said, responding the part that she whispered and dropping his voice to a whisper, as well. He had been wondering about that.

I don't mind either way since we are not fighting them. lol

She nodded her head. "I thought so, that means that I am correct in my assumption that you are in fact a part of this 'secret race' or at least know of it and are in someway connected to it." She was rather proud of herself. That had been the first puzzle she had had some trouble with in awhile. "Yes I react different because... well I don't know I just do. Its just how I am. The messed up little backwards mutt. Its ok though I am happy with it." Yet you could not tell if she was lying or not because once again her voice had lost all emotion and her mask was back in place making it impossible to guess her thoughts. She did not like talking about herself let alone how odd she was in how she saw the world.

Ok. lol

RP:
Adrian just watched and listened, lieing silently on the ground. He would say as little as possible about what he was unless he was sure that it would be safe for her to know. The mask was back, and he didn't like that. He hesitated before leaning over and touching his nose to her neck gently, just once, for only a few seconds. "I think you're fine just the way you are," he assured her, as cliche as it sounded.

RP:
He felt her go stiff at the physical contact. "Sorry..." he muttered. "Well, I don't have a pack, considering the fact that most Helixes avoid me instinctually." He sat silent as he decided how to respond to her first question. Then he looked over at her. "Can you keep a secret?" he asked, a playful (and almost mischevious) tone colored his voice and the features on his face. His grin was almost like that of a child.

And on that note I am going to head off to bed I is tired. I will reply to both this one and (Our rp Lural Tag BTW) Tomorrow.


Zoya shook her head. "Its not problem I am just not use to people touching me. I don't see why they would avoid you your not so bad once you get past the rough look and the chains. You are actually pretty interesting and fun to talk to." A smile played at the corner of her mouth. She felt kind of bad for him and she felt even worse for flinching at his touch, he had no one it was not kind of her to do that. "Of course I can keep a secret, I am a vast well of knowledge how do you think I got all that info? It was not from a bunch of eavesdropping thats for sure." Was he finally going to tell her? That would be a relief if he did then at least she would know if she was crazy or not.

Btw, that last comment was directed at Ryu.

RP:
"Thanks. You're fun to talk to, too," he said, sincerely pleased that she said that. A smile played at the corners of his mouth. "I suppose you have a point there," he chuckled, referring to her eavesdropping comment. "How about this? I'll make you a deal: I'll tell you what I am, if you tell me what you are. I have a feeling that you aren't like others yourself -- not that there's anything wrong with that." He watched carefully to see her reaction.

Rp:
She flicked her ear in amusement. "Of course I have a point, I am me after all." Her tone was blank as she said this. It was only the truth after all she never said anything or did anything unless she saw a point in doing it and it had better be a valid point if she was going to put any effort into it. "You have yourself a deal. However you have to go first, since you are the one that came up with the deal and seem to have such a problem with things. Your right though I am not like the others and I have come to accept this and I live on my own because of it." She flipped the end of her tail for added effect.

Hey, Dreaming.
Ok. 3nodding How are you?

RP:
Adrian nodded his head, his mood still playful and mischevious, like a child about to play a prank (though that was far from what he was actually going to do). "Ok then, I'll go first. That sounds fair to me. Remember when you were talking about the legends?" The last part was just a whisper. His tail was slowly swishing back and forth the whole time.

I am actually in a wonderful mood if not a little hungry and tired. What about you?

Rp:
She narrowed her eyes and nodded. "Yes I remember talking about them what of it? Does that actually have something to do with what you are?" She asked her voice inquisitive she was trembling with anticipation at what he would say and what she would do. She was still unsure of what she would do if he in fact turned out to be a vamp it would be odd to say the very least.

That's good, except for being hungry and tired.
I'm good, thanks.

RP:
"Yes, it does," he answered, nodding. He paused for a second, watching her with concern in his eyes, and then noted, "You're trembling." Then he grinned before continuing, so she would know that he wasn't criticising and was only making an observation. He hesitated before whispering, "The ones from the legends? That's what I am." He watched closely, hoping that she wasn't frightened of him now.

K sorry about that went to take the puppies out and got sidetracked -sigh- Thanks Dark I am very happy to have Zoya even though I am not a fan of the 2nd or 3rd books and I don't really like the 4th -sigh-

Rp:
She shook her head, trying to clear the bombardment of thoughts on her mind. "Your... one of... them?" She asked as she tried to regain control over her emotions. She had in her young life always wanted to meet one to talk to it and find out everything you could about them. They were interesting and fun and new to her. "Your not going to like... attack me now are you? That would be kind of upsetting considering." She stated as she looked at him.

It's ok. 3nodding

RP:
Adrian nodded slowly and gravely, all traces of his former playfulness gone -- he was too focused on judging her reaction. "No, I won't attack you. If I wanted to, I would have done so already." He was tempted to roll his eyes, but he supressed that impulse.

Rp:

Zoya let the smallest of smile's grace her lips. "Ok then its nice to finally meet one of you. I have always wanted to thinking that it would be a very unique experience, I must say I was right this is amazing. Though I had my suspicions I never would have guessed that they were correct." She took a moment to muse this over before she looked at him again. "I guess that explains the chains kind of anyway." She had stopped trembling now and the end of her tail twitched in happiness.

RP:
Relieved that she wasn't frightened, Adrian just smiled, letting his tail swish back and forth every now and then. "Really? You've always wanted to meet one of us? Why is that?" He tilted his head to one side and watched her with curiousity in his eyes.
