Resshin lazed in the tall grass not really caring that it was the middle of the day and he should be looking for a pack to join. His fur blended in perfectly with the grass making him almost impossible to see. He was in a relatively good mood all things considered. It was the hottest part of the day and he was glad that there was in fact a water hole not to far from here that he could go to if he got to hot. He laid on his side and if anyone happened across him they would think he was dead because of how still he was. He was once again off in thought about things that no normal helix would even really care about. He was on this day pondering why there were so many animals that were able to live in such a hot and dry place. It was amazing to think that they all had a different way of adapting to the environment. His tail was the only thing moving now as he had a bad habit of twitching the end of it when he got to lost in thought.

Giselle was out exploring the territory since Soyala was off finding more pack members. She was enjoying the day and had race several gazelles just for fun. However the hot sun was making her tired and the race had not helped at all. She glanced around while panting. She was looking for a place to cool off. She was about to move on when she spotted it. A watering hole! She smiled and began bounding towards it. She was getting somewhat near when she tripped over something or rather someone. She fell to the ground but got up fairly fast. She turned around and spotted another helix just lying there..... in fact he looked dead! "Oh no! I killed someone by tripping over them!" She cried panicking.

Resshin let his eyes creep open as he looked around him. "Why are you screaming at a time like this?" He asked slightly amused. She had been the one to stumble over him he was sure of that but he was perfectly alive so why was she yelling about dead people? "You really must stop panicking you will get over heated if you don't." He stated as he yawned and sat up stretching out his limbs. She looked very much like a giselle and it amused Resshin to think that another helix might have actually mistaken her for a giselle and chased after her. Poor thing she must really get tired of that, but I guess thats what you have to live with when you imitate other animals. He yawned once more and then looked at her seriously.

Giselle freaked out when the presumed dead helix spoke. She yelped and jumped up before staring at him with wide eyes. "Y-you're not dead?" She asked becoming confused, "I thought I had killed you by accident." She sank down to the ground in relief. "Why were you just laying there?" She said starting to pant again, "Who are you? ....... Guess I should give my name then huh. I'm Giselle." She lifted a paw and scratched near one of her horns.

"No dear I am not dead sorry?" He seemed a little confused she acted as if she was surprised he was not dead, had she wanted to kill him? He soon got his answer "No no dear I am quite alright what about you?" He looked her over and shook his head. "Its very hot and I should have been looking for a pack but instead I decided to lay here and think. My name is Resshin its a pleasure to meet you Giselle even if it was under the circumstances of you tripping over me. We should go to the water hole and drink you look parched." He stated as he stood and started walking towards the hole his body almost invisible in the tall grass.

Giselle sighed in relief when he said he was alright. "That's wonderful. I was so afraid that I had harmed you." She said, "It's nice to meet you Resshin..... You don't have a pack yet? Hm...... I could introduce you to my alpha. Soyala is really kind even though she doesn't seem to be." She nodded and stood up. "Yes a drink is just what I need right now. I was on my way to the water hole when I tripped over you." She said bouncing after him. She ended up going past him several feet and paused. She bounced in place as she waited for him to catch up.

He watched as she bounced around and in front of him. She sure was a bouncy little one. He smiled to himself and picked up his pace from an easy lope to a slight run. "I would very much like to meet your alpha I am sure it would be an interesting meeting." He smiled as he walked along soon coming to the watering hole. "That explains a lot you were not paying attention to your feet its understandable. I have to ask dear do you have a lot of trouble looking like a gazelle? I mean really people must mistake you for one every now and then." He was generally curious about this seeing as how he had never talked to one who imitated another animal.

Giselle smiled and nodded. "Perhaps some day soon I'll take you to meet her. She's still looking for more helixes to join the pack." She said bouncing ahead of him once again. She stopped and looked back at him. "I should probably pay more attention to my feet then. I don't want to trip over everyone I meet." She said giggling, "Trouble looking like a gazelle? No not really. It works really well when I'm hunting them. They don't realize that I'm there until it's too late. I did have a couple of problems with others mistaking me as one."
