Home Life : Skylar was an only child in a small town in Ireland, he grew up learning the ways of farming since it was tradition but he still was well educated. He came up with unique ways to make farming more efficient. He also upgraded and repaired the tools by himself so that his family wouldn't need to pay to get new ones with the little money they had. They live in a small farmhouse that his surrounded by farmland where they mostly grow potatoes.
Diving deeper : Skylar's family has a friendly relationship with Xurdion's which is why he is a close friend of Xurdion's. He is also close friends with Lori because he met her one summer when he was at Xurdion's house. Every summer before he went to Hogwarts he would go London to be with Xurdion's family for a while. After a few summers of doing that he started having 'things' happen to him that he couldn't explain. The first time he got the letter of acceptance to Hogwarts his family almost turned it down because they didn't know how much it cost or if it would make them go broke but then he found out that it was free so they willingly allowed him to go.
Skylar is a kind kid who either keeps to himself or hangs out with friends, he is witty and sarcastic but doesn't intentionally hurt someone's feelings, he likes to make new friends, not as defensive as some people claim he is, stubborn, can be rather rude but is otherwise a kind person, and he likes to make new friends

Taking a closer look : "Lori should be around here somewhere but we don't know who the third chaser is. Besides, the person that really needs to know about it is the captain, which we don't have yet. I've heard a rumor that Lori doesn't want to be captain, apparantly it's to much weight to carry around." In truth he was rather hoping he could be captain but he knew that Amelia probably shared his same hope. "I think it would be best if one of us was Captain, I mean, the team is loyal to us, they accept us, listen to us, even when things are crazy or will likely get us kicked off the quidditch team. Most of the players have been on the team since our second year and our plays are partly what makes the Ravenclaw team so...pure awesome. Seriously, you should try out for Captain...although they are looking for someone that is more than just a leader, I hear it's pretty tough." He looked pretty anxious for a reply, he was confident that he was going to try to be captain but putting a in a good word with the person that assigned all of this would be rather hard. He took another sip of his punch and he continued to ponder, his teeth felt as if they were coated in a sugar before he realized how much he drank. It was to sweet and it was starting to taste like bland water which was not good because when Xurdion gets hyper people need to stay back. "Anyway, the point is that this year we're going to pull even crazier plays than we have in the previous ones. Things that only have been rumored about but never attempted. That should get us the quidditch cup this year." He said with a smile as he imagined them holding the cup. ((Example from Christmas dance))

You have been Accepted
to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Totally traditional, yet inventively handy character. I like him.
But I would've fallen for this simple, charismatic profile if you gave more
life to his family life. What upbringings did he get that made him careful of
other's feelings? Did his mom teach him, his dad (what's their names)?
Is he an only child or did he gain his wit from verbal spars with siblings?
I'm a lover of lavish details. Hope to learn more about this bright character
and have fun with him! Also, I'm a sucker for green eyes.
